Abstract

The fast learning system and the demands of academic achievement in the accelerated program have implications on the formation of CI / BI student habitus in the acceleration class. This study aims to describe the formation of CI / BI student habitus in the acceleration class. The research method used is qualitative with case study approach. Research location at SMA Negeri 65 Jakarta, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta Municipality. Informants in this study amounted to eight people consisting of students of acceleration classes and regular classes and teachers associated with the program. Technique of collecting data in this research is by interview and observation. The validity of the data uses the validity of sources and methods with Miles and Huberman’s interactive analytical model techniques. The results showed that the habitus that formed during the acceleration program, among others, manifested in discipline, diligent and competitive attitude. Keyword: Acceleration, Gifted-Talented, Habitus      AbstrakSistem pembelajaran yang sangat cepat serta tuntutan prestasi akademis dalam program akselerasi berimplikasi pada pembentukan habitus siswa CI/BI di kelas akselerasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembentukan habitus siswa CI/BI pada kelas akselerasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian di SMA Negeri 65 Jakarta, Kebon Jeruk, Kotamadya Jakarta Barat. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah delapan orang yang terdiri dari siswa-siswi kelas akselerasi dan kelas reguler serta guru-guru yang terkait dengan program tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini ialah dengan wawancara dan observasi. Validitas data menggunakan validitas sumber dan metode dengan teknik analisis model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa habitus yang terbentuk selama mengikuti program akselerasi antara lain terwujud dalam sikap disiplin, tekun dan kompetitif.  Kata Kunci: Akselerasi, CI/BI, Habitus.

Abstract

Indonesia’s cultural diversity is both a source of national wealth and a potential ground for intergroup conflict. This study highlights the practice of interreligious harmony in Lubuk Seberuk Village, a community known for its religious and cultural pluralism. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using an interactive interpretive model. The findings indicate that harmony is sustained through a collective habitus embedded in everyday cultural practices. The Ruwatan Desa ritual plays a pivotal role as a space for social integration. Beyond its religious symbolism, this ritual reinforces trust, mutual recognition, and solidarity among interfaith communities. It reflects Bourdieu’s concept of sens pratique, where individuals instinctively enact dispositions aligned with an ethos of harmony—not as a result of rational deliberation, but as an outcome of cultural memory and ongoing social interaction. The Ruwatan Desa demonstrates that local traditions can serve as effective instruments for fostering peace and interreligious coexistence in multicultural societies.
