Abstract

Produksi kopi di Kabupaten Jember terdapat tiga jenis yaitu Kopi Arabika, Kopi Robusta dan Kopi Liberika. Banyak peneliti yang melakukan penelitian menggunakan metode fermentasi kopi secara in-vitro (perlakuan diluar tubuh luwak) dengan menggunakan mikroba jenis Bakteri Asam Laktat (BAL) berdasarkan faktor waktu lama fermentasi. Penelitan bertujuan untuk mengetahui waktu yang ideal dalam fermentasi kopi robusta lokal Jember secara in-vitro yang dapat menghasilkan kualitas kopi dengan citarasa yang mirip dengan kopi luwak. Penelitian ini menerapkan penelitian eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini kontrol negatif, perlakuan kontrol positif, perlakuan isolat bakteri asam laktat (BAL), perlakuan isolat yeast dan perlakuan isolat total, yang difermentasi selama 2 hari, 4 hari dan 6 hari, kemudian menggunakan lembar organoleptik untuk membandingkan cita rasa kopi pada setiap perlakuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2020 sampai dengan bulan Juli 2021 di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember dan Cafe “Hore” Jember. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa terdapat waktu yang ideal dalam fermentasi kopi secara in-vitro atau diluar tubuh hewan luwak, kopi robusta yang telah difermentasi dinyatakan mirip dan melebihi skor yang mendekati dengan skor kopi luwak asli yaitu pada fermentasi empat hari perlakuan isolate yeast dengan hasil skor rata-rata 6,71 yang termasuk kedalam kategori “Good” dengan interval 6,00-6,75.

Abstract

The Among system is a way of educating children based on the independence and freedom of students so that they can grow according to their personal nature. The among system can create an independent spirit, so students can be independent and more courageous in learning according to their wishes. Currently, the among system is starting to be forgotten because Indonesian education is developing in a modern way by applying foreign education. This phenomenon causes learning to be not persuasive and educative, so it is necessary to revitalize the among system through an independent curriculum so that it can bring change and respond to the challenges of the times. This type of research used is qualitative research literature study. The results of the study show that the among system can be reapplied through the independent curriculum, in which this curriculum carries the concept of independent learning with flexible and essential material, student-centered learning, and in accordance with the interests, talents and potential of students. Differentiated learning is one way to revive the among system in education. Learning facilitates the needs of students, so that students can develop their interests, talents and potential independently.

Abstract

Educational reform is an effort to increase in the field of education. Ki Hajar Dewantara with the idea that learning must be student-centered. This is in accordance with the kurikulum merdeka that is being implemented in Indonesia in differentiated learning. Differentiated learning is learning that adapts to the needs of each student. With this kurikulum merdeka, it is hoped that education in Indonesia can increase and produce students according to their individual learning interests. However, the application in domestic education units is still not optimal as in Umbulsari High School which is constrained by teachers who still do not understand the concept of differentiated learning and facilities that are still inadequate for differentiated learning. Teachers who do not understand the concept of differentiated learning do not apply this learning so that the currently implemented kurikulum merdeka is not fully used. The application of differentiated learning gets student learning outcomes after being differentiated learning there is an increase. Problems that occur in education units require more frequent outreach from the government and also monitoring the implementation of the kurikulum merdeka by the ministry of education.

Abstract

The world of education is expected to produce students according to the Graduate Competency Standards. To achieve this, it is necessary to apply STEAM-based learning with the Project Based Learning model so that it can improve student learning outcomes related to material environmental pollution in KD 3.8. The main problem is related to non-biodegradable plastic waste, a solution is needed, namely the Ecobrick method in managing plastic waste. This study aims to determine students' cognitive learning outcomes by applying the STEAM Ecobrick Project to cognitive learning outcomes at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jember and SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Wuluhan. The method used in this research is quantitative with a comparative type. The sources of data or respondents in the study were seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jember and SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Jember. The data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The research data were analyzed using SPSS with decision making criteria based on the significance value indicated by the Mann Whitney test output. The results of the Mann Whitney test value of 0.77, meaning that there is no difference in cognitive learning outcomes by applying STEAM Ecobrick Project-based learning to students at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jember with students at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Wuluhan. The average value of cognitive learning outcomes for students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jember is 82.88 and students of SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Wuluhan are 79.81, the difference between the two is 3.07. By implementing STEAM Ecobrick Project-based learning it can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes.
