Abstract

This article examines the theory of Pierre Bourdieu, a French sociologist, in dismantling mechanisms of injustice against women in the realm of practical politics. The idea of Bourdieu's theory of habitus, capital, arena, violence and symbolic power will be used as the perspective of gender inequality in uncovering the mechanisms of violence against women, particularly women involved in politics. The occurrence of various forms of violence against women, according to Bourdieu's theory, can not be separated from their symbolic violence that became the basis for other types of violence, such as physical, psychological, economic, and sexual. Symbolic violence is a form of violence that is not easily recognizable. Violence operates through symbols the object hegemonic discourse dominated. The roots of this violence habitus operates through women who are positioned as subordinate in society. Violence that works at the level of discourse, it will not make women understand and appreciate that they become the object and will not resist

Abstract

Food is an essential requirement for humans in carrying out their lives. Indonesia is an agrarian country, but in reality, food security is apparently still very fragile. The evidence is evident from the large number of people's food imported from abroad. There is still a lot of wrong food management which causes Indonesia to not have food sovereignty. This article discusses food security in the Koran by analyzing Qs. Joseph verses 47-49. This study is qualitative, literature and will conduct a search of Qs. Joseph 47-49. This article found that, first, Qs. Yusuf explained the meaning contained in the interpretation of dreams of the fertile period and famine explained what people must do to maintain food security. Second, the contextualization of Indonesia's food defense includes: Increasing the quality and quantity of agricultural products, environmentally friendly agriculture, proportional consumption, moderation, and knowledge of weather and disasters. Pangan merupakan kebutuhan esensial bagi manusia dalam melangsungkan kehidupannya. Indonesia merupakan negara yang agraris, namun ketahanan pangan ternyata masih sangat rapuh. Bukti itu terlihat dari masih banyaknya bahan pangan rakyat yang diimpor dari luar negeri. Masih banyak pengelolaan pangan yang salah sehingga menyebabkan Indonesia tidak mempunyai kedaulatan pangan. Artikel ini membahas tentang ketahanan pangan dalam al-Quran dengan menganalisis QS. Yusuf (12): 47-49. Kajian ini bersifat kualitatif, kepustakaan dan akan melakukan penelusuran ragam penafsiran terhadap QS. Yusuf(12): 47-49. Artikel ini menemukan bahwa, pertama, ayat tersebut menjelaskan makna yang terkandung dalam tafsiran mimpi, terkait masa subur dan paceklik dan menjelaskan apa yang harus dilakukan masyarakat demi menjaga ketahanan pangan. Kedua, kontekstualisasi pertahanan pangan Indonesia meliputi: Peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas hasil pertanian, pertanian ramah lingkungan, konsumsi yang proporsional dan tidak berlebihan, serta pengetahuan tentang cuaca dan bencana.

Abstract

Meurukon is a religious tradition that still exists and develops in Acehnese society. This tradition is used as a means of religious education for teenagers in Aceh. This meurukon tradition includes: theology, Islamic law and Sufism. This article examines theological values in the meurukon tradition that is practiced in the Muara Batu community, North Aceh. Data obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis method. This study concludes, First, the Merukon tradition is described as a religious tradition that is manifested in poetry or nazam which is carried out in groups and led by a chief (shaikh). This activity is carried out in a dialogical way (sue-eu, jaweub) in which the chairperson questions a certain problem, which is then answered together by group members. Second, the main material contained in this meurukon tradition is a matter of faith or theology. The discussion related to this theology covers several aspects, such as about the nature of Allah and the messengers, both obligatory, impossible and jaiz, as well as about angels, books and the afterlife. This tradition is known as a cultural heritage that contains educational values in the Tauhid education among the Acehnese people.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji teori Pierre Bourdieu, sosiolog Perancis, dalam membongkar mekanisme terjadinya ketidakadilan terhadap perempuan dalam ranah politik praktis. Gagasan Bourdieu tentang teori habitus, modal, arena, kekerasan serta kekuasaan simbolik akan digunakan sebagai perspektif dalam membongkar mekanisme ketimpangan gender dalam bentuk kekerasan terhadap perempuan khususnya perempuan yang terlibat dalam politik. Terjadinya berbagai bentuk kekerasan terhadap perempuan, menurut teori Bourdieu, tidak bisa dilepaskan dari adanya kekerasan simbolik yang menjadi dasar bagi terbentuknya jenis-jenis kekerasan lain, seperti kekerasan fisik, psikis, ekonomi, dan seksual. Kekerasan simbolik adalah bentuk kekerasan yang tak mudah dikenali. Kekerasan ini beroperasi melalui simbol-simbol wacana yang menghegemoni objek yang didominasi mengikuti pemakna yang diproduksi berdasarkan kepentingan subjek yang mendominasi. Akar kekerasan ini beroperasi melalui habitus perempuan yang memposisikannya sebagai subordinat di masyarakat, serta kemiskinan yang dialami baik secara ekonomi, budaya, sosial dan modal simbolik. Kekerasan yang bekerja pada level pengetahuan ini, tidak akan membuat perempuan memahami dan mengerti bahwa mereka sedang menjadi objek dan tidak akan melakukan perlawanan.
