Abstract

AbstrakManajemen diri siswa menjadi bagian penting dalam peningkatan prestasi belajar. Hal ini menjadi strategi bagi siswa dalam proses pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali informasi mengenai manajemen diri siswa untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif - studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa yang berjumlah 3 orang di Karanganyar yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi yang dipandu dengan pedoman. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana. Teknik analisis data berbantuan software Atlas.ti versi 8.3. Hasil penelitian ini adalah manajemen diri siswa untuk dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar memiliki beberapa komponen yaitu pentingnya membuat tujuan (goal), memiliki faktor manajemen, perlunya kegiatan harian, dan karakter. Implikasi dari penelitian ini yaitu membuka nilai keilmuan secara ilmiah terkait pentingnya siswa melakukan manajemen diri sehingga dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar. AbstractStudent self-management is an important and major part of student development and increased learning achievement. This is a strategy for students in the educational process. The purpose of this study was to determine students' self-management to improve learning achievement. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The research subjects were 3 students in Karanganyar who were determined using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation guided by guidelines. The research procedure used the model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. Data analysis techniques assisted by Atlas.ti software version 8.3. The result of this research is that students' self-management to be able to improve learning achievement has several components, namely the importance of making goals, having management factors, the need for daily activities, and character. The implication of this research is to open scientific value scientifically related to the importance of students doing self-management to improve learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and provide advice on the implemen-tation of online-based learning policies at 2 Muhammadiyah Junior High Schools in Yogyakarta City. The research method used is qualitative, which was conducted by observation, interviews, documentation, and data triangulation.  The result of the study is that the implementation of educational policies carried out by SMP Muhammadiyah is going well by preparing and carrying out the learning process by planning, organizing, and evaluating all activities carried out.  The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia issued a Circular on the Implementation of Education Policy in the Emergency Period of the Spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) concerning the learning process from home which is carried out with the following provisions: (a) Learning from home provide a meaningful learning experience for students, without being burdened with completing the curriculum for grade promotion or graduation; (b) Learning from home can get education in life education; (c) activities and tasks according to their respective interests and conditions, including considering access/facilities for studying at home; (d) Evidence or products of learning activities from home are given qualitative and useful feedback from the teacher, without being required to provide a quantitative score/value.
