The research aims to obtain data on (1) the principal's leadership style in improving work discipline, (2) the principal's leadership style in increasing teacher work motivation, (3) the principal's leadership style in increasing responsibility and (4) constraints that faced by principals in improving expected teacher performance. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the technique of data collection is done through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. This study shows that (1) principals apply democratic leadership styles in improving discipline, (2) principals apply developer leadership styles (builders) in increasing teacher work motivation, (3) principals apply executive leadership styles in increasing teacher responsibilities, and (4) constraints faced by the principal, namely the decline in teacher discipline, lack of teacher performance motivation, and a low sense of teacher responsibility in learning. It is recommended that the principal can apply a better or varied leadership style so that the desired goals can be achieved well and maximally.

WhatsApp is one of the social media that is used to communicate in the learning process. At present, students cannot be separated from their daily activities away from this social media. This opportunity can be utilized as well as possible by the students. This research was conducted to find out of using WhatsApp toward undergraduate students’ behavior in the teaching and learning process. This study was descriptive qualitative research. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis technique. The data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation. The aim of this study to analyze the impact of WhatsApp toward undergraduate students’ behavior and to analyze students’ behavior in their learning process. The result of this research showed that are a positive impact on student behavior as it affects the learning process as, students’ sharing knowledge, student preparation for class, attention, student participation in class, student learning, desires to take additional classes or in subject matter and the negative impact such as, students are more focused.

Facilities and infrastructures in education are essential to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process in schools. Principals are responsible for managing facilities and infrastructures in schools. The implementation of learning to teach in schools will be subjected to obstacles when facilities and infrastructure are inadequate. The purpose of this research is 1) describing the importance of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of learning, 2) Knowing how to plan, manage, use and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure in schools, 3) indicators Management of good infrastructure for the improvement of School quality 4) school readiness in preparing facilities and infrastructure to support learning in the 4.0 era. The case study used in MTS Muhammadiyah Sidomulyo. The research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the research show that the headmaster is planning in fulfilling facilities and infrastructure tailored to the level of needs each year. The planning will be known as management indicators of any infrastructure which is a good or most significant influence on the improvement of the quality of the school. Precisely the use of facilities and infrastructure can improve the quality of learning in Mts Muhammadiyah Sidomulyo. Damaged facilities and infrastructure will be given repairs. If no longer repaired, the school will apply for new procurement. All parties in the school must maintain existing facilities, and infrastructures to improve the quality of learning.

Education is a human resource and vehicle to humanize itself. Through education, humans expected to be able to know themselves, establish harmonious relationships with others and the natural surroundings. This study uses descriptive qualitative; the purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the curriculum. The research data collection uses documentation, observation, and interviews, and this research conducted at SDN 2 Jombong Boyolali district. The results showed that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum was only applied in grades II and IV, while classes I, III, and VI used KTSP. The curriculum that is continuously updated indicates that the face of our education is still too early to be at a quality level. Also, the lack of teacher competence in implementing the established curriculum influences the growth and development of our education world.

This study aims to describe the headmaster’s leadership style and the factors that affect the leadership behavior of the headmaster at the State Elementary School 2 Bencah, South Bangka Regency. This study was descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the headmaster, teachers of grade I (one) to grade VI (six), several students in grade V (five), and students in grade VI (six). The data collection techniques used in this study were observation and interviews. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and concluding—the data validity test techniques used by source triangulation. The results of the study showed that the leadership style used by the headmaster at the State Elementary School 2 Bencah tends to the democratic, aggressive leadership style. It can see from the way the headmaster solving problems and making decisions, which is always carrying out by arranging meetings, discussions, and forums with staff and teachers. However, the headmaster also always gives punishment to undisciplined teachers and rewards for outstanding teachers.

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the mental readiness of Muhammadiyah teachers in entering or facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This study uses a quantitative approach involving 60 respondents from 5 Junior High Schools (SMP) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data were taken using a questionnaire and analyzed using a regression test. The results of the study indicate that the mental readiness of Muhammadiyah teachers in entering or facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is influenced by the behavioral readiness and health readiness possessed by the Muhammadiyah teachers. The significance value of the influence of behavioral readiness on the mental readiness of teachers is 0.019; while the significance value of the influence of health readiness on the mental readiness of Muhammadiyah teachers in facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is 0.040.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh aplikasi Whatsapp terhadap motivasi belajar siswa yang dimana diharapkan dengan adanya penelitian ini dapat memperbaiki motivasi belajar siswa SMP Qur’an Al Fajar Khususnya dan kepada pembaca menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan umumnya. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan jenis pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu memilih analisis regresi sederhana dimana penulis ingin melihat perubahan pada variabel X akan diikuti oleh perubahan variabel Y secara tetap. penelitian ini berlokasi di SMP Qur’an Al Fajar dilakukan pada siswa dan siswi kelas VII. Waktu penelitian ini dimulai dari bulan oktober sampai bulan november 2021. Berdasarkan pengolahan dan analisis data dengan dibantu program SPSS versi 22 diperoleh koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 19,5 % artinya pengaruh penggunaan media sosial whatsaap dengan motivasi belajar memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi whatsaap terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajar matematika di SMP Qur’an Al Fajar sebesar 37,2%.

Kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah diakui memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam melakukan pembelajaran. Untuk mengetahui hal-hal apa saja yang harus dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan para guru, maka diperlukan kajian dan penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap langkah-langkah yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah Intis School Balikpapan dalam meningkatkan literasi digital guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif eksploratif, data dihasilkan melaui wawancara dengan partisipan yang terdiri dari guru-guru, kepala sekolah dan wakil kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa langkah-langkah yang dilakukan kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan literasi digital guru adalah sebagai berikut: (a) Membuat perencanaan. (b) Menyelenggarakan workshop/seminar. (c) Memberikan motivasi, bimbingan dan pemahaman kepada para guru terkait cognitive flexibility. (d) Mengikutsertakan para guru dalam pelatihan mengoperasikan aplikasi-aplikasi pembelajaran.

The effects of the pandemic in the world of education have as many influences as the adjustment of learning models. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of blended learning as an alternative to online education in the new normal era. This was an experimental study with a one-shot case study design conducted in several public high schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The respondents involved in this study were 70 teachers who were determined using a simple random sampling technique. The data was collected by using a questionnaire. Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the effect of the effectiveness of the application of the blended learning model during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results showed that the effectiveness of educational programs after using blended learning is 95.05%, much higher than the effectiveness of educational programs before using blended learning with a score of 73.24%. The blended learning model affects the effectiveness of learning during the COVID-19 pandemic by 85.20%. Learning during the COVID-19 pandemic that implements the blended learning model will run more effectively and more successfully. Schools need to apply the blended learning model because the use of this method is effective, efficient, and more successful in the new normal era.

The era of disruption has brought about the impact of fundamental changes in the digital-based information presentation globally. Easy access to information and communication through social networks makes children no longer care about the surrounding environment and tends to be "uncivilized". The condition makes parents try to instill a filter through the selection of schools with a religious character curriculum. That fact encourages the emergence of schools labeled with religion with "extra" religious curriculum offers. So, the considerations in choosing a school from a Muslim family, in particular, can indirectly be seen from the curriculum character offered by the school and the character of its graduates. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence parents in choosing an Islamic school. The method used is quantitative with 100 parents who have school-age children from grade 1 to grade 3 who have a middle to the upper economic background in the Bandung. The results of the study found that the factors of parents choosing an Islamic primary school that has primary school graduates accustomed to speaking good words such as please, sorry, thank you and Toyyibah sentences, accustomed to pray 5 times a day, reading the Quran, memorizing the Quran and language skills (Indonesian and English)
