Abstract

Jinten Hitam (Nigella sativa) sudah lama dikenal berkhasiat dalam menyembuhkan penyakit. Banyak penelitian yang membuktikan Jinten Hitam atau lebih dikenal di masyarakat dengan nama Habbatussauda dapat berkhasiat sebagai imunomodulator, anti bakteri, anti inflamasi dan sebagai antioksidan. Jinten Hitam atau yang lebih dikenal dengan nama dagang Habbatusauda sudah banyak beredar di pasaran, baik dalam bentuk kering maupun minyak di toko obat dan apotek sehingga mudah didapatkan. Beberapa produk Habbatusauda ini dapat ditemukan dalam bentuk tunggal maupun di kombinasi dengan minyak lain seperti campuran minyak Habbatusauda dengan ekstrak daun Sirsak, dan ada dalam bentuk campuran minyak Habbatusauda dengan minyak Zaitun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan jumlah antioksidan yang terdapat pada produk Jinten Hitam yang beredar di kota Palembang dengan menggunakan metode DPPH (1,1-difenil-2-pikrilhidrazil) dengan mengukur absorban menggunakan Spektrofotometer UV-VIS pada panjang gelombang 529 nm dengan Vitamin C sebagai pembanding. Dari pendekatan analisis deskriptif ditemukan adanya perbedaan kandungan produk Jinten Hitam yang beredar di pasaran khususnya kota Palembang. Produk jinten hitam dengan komposisi tunggal memiliki daya antioksidan lebih tinggi disbanding produk jinten hitam yang berbentuk campuran yaitu Habbasyi Oil sebesar 97,2% (IC50 437,8 ppm), Habbasyi Pondok Herbal Habbatussauda Oil sebesar 87,4% (IC50 569,3 ppm) mempunyai daya antioksidan yang setara dengan Vitamin C, minyak Habbasyifa sebesar 43,4% IC501316,9ppm), minyak Habbatussauda Kamil sebesar 40,1% (IC50 2220,5 ppm), Minyak Habbatussauda Sari Murni sebesar 37% (IC50 1586,4 ppm), Minyak Habbatussauda Plus Minyak Zaitun sebesar 26,4% (IC50 50 5631,4 ppm),serbuk Habbatussauda cap Kurma Ajwa sebesar 16,1% (IC50 5042,2 ppm), minyak Habbatussauda Kamil sebesar 15,8% (IC50 3397,3 ppm) dan serbuk Habbatussauda Sari Murni sebesar 10,8% (IC50 5665,6ppm).

Abstract

Empowerment community has been carried out through planting Kelor and Meniran to be used as health food during the Covid 19 pandemic. The implementation was carried out in Village of Pipa Putih, RT 6, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatera. It is 30 km from the city of Palembang, a collaboration partner with the Palembang Health Polytechnic. Using two plots of land owned by the residents village of Pipa Putih, the implementing groups are PKK Cadres and the Office Pipa Putih . Provide farming equipment and garden fences. Provide Kelor dan Meniran seeds obtained from nurseries, then given to partner groups to be planted and maintained for 2 months Monitoring was carried out every week on the activities of growing Kelor dan Meniran. The results obtained are Kelor dan Meniran plants can be harvested after 1.5 months of cultivation. The harvest can be processed into healthy food in the form of agar pudding, bandrek, cendol, chips and noodles made from Kelor dan Meniran. Evaluation took from the increase in knowledge, attitudes and behaviors that have been realized in community service planting Kelor dan Meniran. The theme of this activity was followed up by making the superior ready-to-eat product of cadre levels PKK Pipa Putih and at the coverage village.

Abstract

Emulsion is a pharmaceutical preparation in the form of a liquid that combines two substances that are notmixed, usually aqueous and oil. Olive oil and tomatoes are efficacious as antihypertensive.The purpose of thisresearch is formulate tomatoes (Lycopersicum esculentum ) extract and olive oil (Olea europaea) becomes O/Wemulsion. O/W emulsion more stable using a combination emulgator as span 80 and tween 80, because it hasbalance between hydrophilic and lipophilic substances so that it can unite all types of solutions. This study wasa experimental.Variation of span 80 and tween 80 concentrations is 3%:5% formula I, 3,36%:5,64% formula II,3,74%:6,26% formula III. After that, it is evaluated at room temperature storage for 28 days, that are pH,viscosity, specific gravity, homogenity, phase separation, emulsion type, color, odor and taste.Based on theresults obtained, both pH, viscosity and specific gravity are decrease. For evaluasion of phase separation, onlyformula I does meet the requirements. Based on evaluation homogenity, emulsion type, color, odorl and taste allformulas meet the requirements during storage28 days. Tomatoes (Lycopersicum esculentum ) extract and oliveoil (Olea europaea) can formulate becomes stable and eligible emulsion. The most optimal formula is formulaIII with concentration 3,74% of span 80 and 6,26% of tween 80.
