Abstract

Early childhood sex education is important in child development. Given that all this time education in this phase is often ignored or poorly understood by the community. The aim of this study is to increase the knowledge of parents so that the parenting process about sex education in early childhood can be carried out. This type of quantitative research uses a quasi experimental research design with 2 groups of pre test and post test. The research was conducted at Alumna Islamic School in September 2019-March 2020. The research sample was 20 respondents with 10 control groups and 10 experimental groups. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data processed by computerization. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate using Chi-Square statistical test. The results obtained were univariate age distribution of control group respondents aged 20-35 years (80%), DIII and S1 education (40%), civil servant occupations (40%), occasional sexuality education (50%), while the experimental group aged 20 -35 years (80%), S1 education (50%), private employees (30%) and frequent parenting (70%). The statistical test results obtained p value <0.05, which means that there is a difference in the average value of parenting and sexuality education of respondents pre and post intervention in the experimental group which is significantly different compared to the control group. It is recommended that parents increase their knowledge of early childhood education.

Abstract

Birth Ball is a birth ball that can be used by mothers in labor in the first stage to a position that can help progress labor. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Birth Ball on reducing the intensity of labor pain during the first active phase. The type of research used in this study was a quasy experiment. The research was conducted at PMB Karmila, Bantan District. The population in this study were all third trimester pregnant women. The sample in this study were 20 pregnant women using purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out univariately, bivariately using the T-Dependent statistical test (paired T-Test). The results showed that there was an effect of birth ball on the intensity of labor pain in the first stage. to the community, especially primigravida women who experience labor pain to be able to do birth ball therapy to reduce the level of pain in the first stage of labor.\

Abstract

The maternal mortality rate is still relatively high, so it needs continuous effort between health service providers and patients to make birth decisions. As per the SDGs program, to reduce the risk of maternal death in childbirth, childbirth must be carried out by trained professional health workers and in health services. This study aimed to determine the factors that influence third-trimester pregnant women in choosing to give birth at health facilities in the working area of Public health Center Siak Hulu 2, Siak Hulu 2 District. The research design was a correlational descriptive study. The research was conducted on the active site of the Public health center Siak Hulu 2. The population in this study was 35 pregnant women. The sample in this study was 35 pregnant women using total sampling. Data analysis was done univariately, bivariate, using the Chi-Square statistical test. The results showed that there was a relationship between age and the choice of place of delivery in the Siak Hulu 2 Working Area, with a P-Value of 0.03, there was a relationship between parity and the choice of place of delivery with a value P-Value 0.01, and there is a relationship between distance and choice of area of delivery with a P-Value of 0.001. This study concludes that all factors related to the will of the place of delivery in third-trimester pregnant women have a relationship. Suggestions are expected for health workers to be able to provide more information to pregnant women that it is essential to give birth at a health facility.

Abstract

The incidence rate of emesis gravidarum is more than 80% in pregnant women in Indonesia experiencing excessive nausea and vomiting. The incidence of cases of emesis gravidarum is 8 to 32 cases per 1,000 pregnancies. Therefore, handling nausea and vomiting in pregnancy really needs to be done. Purpose: The effect of acupressure massage for pregnant women in the first trimester the incidence of emesis gravidarum. Methods: This research is a quantitative study with quasi-experimental research design, The study design was the One Group Pre Test Post Test to determine the effect before and after being given acupressure massage. Conclusion:. Statistical test results showed that the average value of the variable frequency of nausea and vomiting before being given acupressure massage was 5.00 with standard deviation of 0.871 and the average value after being given acupressure massage was 2.43 with a standard deviation of 0.728. The difference between the frequency of nausea and vomiting before and after being given was 2.57 and a value of p = 0.000 (<0.005) was obtained, which means that there was a significant difference in the average frequency of nausea and vomiting in pregnant women in the first trimester before and after being given acupressure massage. The results of information about initial treatment for pregnant women who experience emesis gravidarum using acupressure massage at point P6 which is on 3 fingers below the wrist. Besides being practical, acupressure massage can be done wherever pregnant women are either when they are active or when they are resting.
