Abstract

Background: This study aims to determine the relationship between age and anxiety levels of nurses working in the Emergency Installation during the Covid-19 pandemic era at the Yogyakarta Special Region Private Hospital. Methods: This research is a correlational non-experimental quantitative retrospective study with a cross-sectional approach that aims to find answers to the correlative relationship between variables and observations of events that have occurred. The research population is nurses who work in the Emergency Installation of Private Hospitals in Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. Statistical test analysis using Spearman's test. Result: The relationship between the two variables is unrelated or uncorrelated with the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.183, the correlation strength level is very weak and the direction of the relationship is negative with the Correlation Coefficient of -0.174. Conclusion: The results of the statistical test show that there is no relationship or correlation between age and the anxiety level of nurses working in the emergency room of a private hospital in the Special Region of Yogyakarta during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

Dusun Suren Wetan, desa Canden, kapanewon Jetis, kabupaten Bantul, provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, merupakan salah satu dusun terdampak signifikan pada peristiwa bencana alam gempa bumi tahun 2006. Korban yang tewas lebih dari 6000. Belum terbentuknya tim tanggap darurat bencana alam menjadi salah satu penyebab banyaknya korban. Dengan demikian, perlu dibentuk tim tanggap bencana alam. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dari tim STIKes Panti Rapih dilaksanakan untuk membentuk dan melatih tim tanggap bencana alam gempa bumi pada masyarakat di daerah tersebut. Metode yang digunakan pada PkM ini penilaian resiko, perencanaan terhadap managemen resiko dan pelatihan pertolongan korban bencana alam gempa bumi. PkM dilakukan pada tanggal 6, 13 dan 20 Juni 2021 dengan sasaran ketua RT, kader kesehatan dan karangtaruna dusun Suren Wetan. Prosentase kesesuaian pelatihan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat 50% menyatakan sangat sesuai dan 50% menyatakan sesuai, prosentase relevansi pelatihan dengan dukungan terhadap masyarakat terhadap kemandirian untuk hidup lebih sehat 57,1% sangat mendukung dan 42,9% mendukung. Kemanfaatan PkM dinilai 85,7% sangat bermanfaat dan 14,3% bermanfaat. Hasil kegiatan PkM berupa terbentuknya tim tanggap bencana alam gempa bumi dan peningkatan kemampuan elemen masyarakat dalam melakukan pertolongan pertama korban gempa bumi.

Abstract

Background: As time goes by, changes in people's lifestyles, from children to the elderly, are becoming fond of instant foods that contain lots of sodium and fat. Besides that, there is a tendency to be lazy about activities, to carry out monotonous routines which increase the risk of stress. This triggers the emergence of various complaints, one of which is high blood pressure. Objective: This research was conducted by the Elderly Posyandu located in Suren Wetan Canden Jetis Hamlet, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Methodology: The research design in this study is a descriptive quantitative survey. Results: There was a decrease in the average systolic blood pressure of 16.36 mmHg and a decrease in the average diastolic blood pressure of 4.91 mmHg in 11 elderly people who suffered from hypertension. Conclusion: Acupressure therapy was carried out on 11 elderly people who suffered from hypertension at the acupoints GV 20, GB 20, EX-HN 3, EX-HN 5, GB 21, LI 4 and PC 6 by means of massage and rotation which created comfort carried out to the left 30 rounds of each point can reduce the average systole and diastole.
