Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini ditujukan kepada mahasiswa Universitas Brawijaya, khususnya mahasiswa yang belajar ilmu bidang bisnis dan ekonomi. Tuntutan penelitian mahasiswa dengan jenjang Sarjana (S1) yang berbasis uji analisis jalur (path analysis) dan penggunaan ekstraksi data dengan metode first order dan second order yang berbasis pada data yang bersifat formatif dan data yang bersifat reflektif, telah memotivasi kegiatan ini. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan media Zoom di karenakan pandemi Covid-19, dan kegiatan ini diharapkan mahasiswa dapat mengembangkan minat penelitiannya di dalam pengembangan ilmu bidang bisnis dan ekonomi, di tengah pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

In addition to increasing intangible assets, the company will also see the future by implementing policies regarding investment decisions to increase company performance and company value. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to examine the effect of intellectual capital, investment opportunity sets on company performance and firm value in food and beverage companies listed on the IDX for the period 2012-2106. The study population numbered 14 companies, while the sample used in this study was taken using purposive sampling, the number of samples taken in this research proposal is 11 samples that meet the criteria used. This study uses path analysis. The results of this study indicate that intellectual capital has no significant effect on financial performance, negative intellectual capital is not significant towards firm value, the investment opportunity set has a negative effect on financial performance. The investment opportunity set has a positive and significant effect on firm value, financial performance has a significant positive effect on firm value. ___________________________________________________________________ Perusahaan selain meingkatkan intangible asset, disisi lain perusahaan juga akan melihat masa depan dengan melakukan kebijakan mengenai keputusan investasi untuk menigkatkan kinerja perusahaan dan nilai perusahaan. Untuk itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji pengaruh modal intelektual, set kesempatan investasi terhadap kinerja perusahaan dan nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar pada BEI periode 2012-2106. Populasi penelitian berjumlah dengan jumlah 14 perusahaan, sedangkan Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan purposive sampling, banyaknya sampel yang diambil dalam usulan penelitian ini adalah 11 sampel yang memenuhi kriteria yang digunakan. penelitian ini menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis), Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan modal intelektual tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan, modal intelektual negatif tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, set kesempatan investasi berpengaruh negative pada kinerja keuangan. Set kesempatan investasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, kinerja keuangan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of financial integration, technology transfer, and labor productivity growth in economic growth pre-and-during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. The data collected is panel data from 20 countries of the G20 in the period 2018Q4–2021Q1. By using fixed-effects regression, the results showed that foreign direct investment had a significant effect on economic growth during the COVID-19 crisis, while foreign portfolio investment did not. Furthermore, labor productivity growth has been proven to play a role in moderating foreign portfolio investment, foreign direct investment, and technology transfer in pre-crisis economic growth. However, entering into the COVID-19 crisis stage, labor productivity growth is no longer proven to be moderating, due to a major lockdown policy that led to a decline in labor productivity. This study contributes to helping policymakers with various considerations and sets realistic expectations about the role of financial integration and technology transfer in the recovery of economic growth due to the global crisis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of receivables turnover, leverage, and company size on the profitability of Financing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2021. The type of research used in this study is explanatory reachers with a quantitative approach. This study used secondary data from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the form of the company's annual financial statements. The population of this research is 16 finance companies, and the population was selected through purposive sampling techniques based on predetermined considerations that determined the number of samples to be as many as nine companies. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, determination test, and hypothesis test (t-test and F test), analyzed by SPSS version 25. The results of this study prove that the partial receivables turnover variable has a positive and significant effect on profitability. The leverage has a negative and significant effect on profitability. The size of the company has an insignificant effect on profitability. Simultaneously, receivables turnover, leverage, and company size variables significantly affect profitability.
