Abstract

Financial statements are crucial for owners of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as they serve as evidence that the MSMEs exhibit sound financial performance and reliability, thereby enhancing the confidence of banks in extending business credit or capital to them. However, approximately 72 % of MSMEs in Indonesia still lack access to capital from both banks and non-bank financial institutions. The obstacle lies in the inability of MSMEs to manage their finances in an organized and periodic manner. Hence, there is a need for education and introductions on how to prepare financial statements that are easy and effective for MSME practitioners. The objective of this Community Service Program (PKM) is to provide education and training on the preparation of financial statements based on Ms Excel for MSME practitioners in the food and beverage sector affiliated with the Creative Economy Center (CEC) community in Mojodeso village, Kapas district, Bojonegoro regency. The activity took place at the Mojodeso Village Hall in Bojonegoro, with a total of 15 MSME participants. The stages of this activity include planning, implementation, and evaluation. Data were analyzed descriptively using percentage techniques. The results of the activity indicate that the training on the preparation of financial statements based on Ms Excel has enhanced the understanding and skills of MSME practitioners in recording financial statements. Monitoring and evaluation activities were conducted to ensure that participants could correctly and regularly practice recording business financial statements MS Excel, as evidenced by the submission of soft copies of financial statements in Ms Excel format to the PKM team. The conclusion of this PKM is that the training activity effectively improved the understanding and skills in the practical creation of business financial statements based on MsExcel.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of e-service quality and e-trust on continuance intention, mediated by e-satisfaction, among users of the MyPertamina application. The background of this study is the phenomenon of increasing use of digital public service applications that are not yet fully supported by users' intentions for continuity. This study used a quantitative approach and involved 220 active users of the MyPertamina app, selected through purposive sampling. Data processing and analysis were performed using the Structural Equation Modelling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method in SmartPLS 3.0. The study's results indicate that e-service quality and e-trust influence continuance intention. E-service quality also influences e-satisfaction, whereas e-trust does not. Furthermore, e-satisfaction does not influence continuance intention. These findings indicate that service quality and user trust in the application are more dominant in shaping the intention to continue using the application than mere user satisfaction. Therefore, the MyPertamina application managers are advised to continue improving service quality and building user trust to foster loyalty and sustainable use of the application.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Instagram social media marketing activities on revisit intention to Kopi Kompleks Surabaya, with consumer engagement as a mediating variable. Despite the increasing use of Instagram by local coffee shops, the effectiveness of social media marketing in driving consistent revisit behavior remains inconsistent, indicating a gap between digital promotion and consumer loyalty. This study addresses this gap by incorporating consumer engagement as a mediating mechanism within the online-to-offline (O2O) context. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using a cross-sectional survey of 200 respondents who have visited Kopi Kompleks and interacted with its Instagram account. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that Instagram marketing activities significantly influence both consumer engagement and revisit intention. Consumer engagement also has a significant effect on revisit intention and partially mediates the relationship between social media marketing and revisit intention. This study contributes to the digital marketing literature by highlighting the mediating role of consumer engagement in strengthening the effectiveness of social media strategies for local coffee shops.

Abstract

Sustainable social entrepreneurship integrates entrepreneurial strategies with a commitment to social and environmental objectives. This study identifies two major issues based on interviews with partners at the Thai Global Business Administration Technological College (TGBC), Thailand. Although TGBC students demonstrate strong entrepreneurial potential and innovative ideas, their understanding of sustainable social entrepreneurship and experience in implementing sustainable social business practices remain limited. To address these gaps, an integrated training program was designed to enhance conceptual understanding and practical business skills through four stages: preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Participants reported high satisfaction with the program’s facilities—including training venues, equipment quality, internet access, cleanliness, and learning materials—and with the training process, particularly the clarity of materials, expertise of facilitators, adequacy of training duration, and responsiveness of organizers (92%). Post-training evaluations indicated improved comprehension of social entrepreneurship, competence in applying the Sustainability Business Model Canvas (SBMC), and increased confidence and motivation (92%). Furthermore, most participants perceived the program as beneficial for both career and academic development (96.4%). These findings highlight the importance of structured, experiential learning in fostering sustainable social entrepreneurship among students.
