Abstract

Ubi jalar merupakan salah satu komoditas subsektor tanaman pangan yang berperan dalam pembangunan sektor pertanian dan perekonomian Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis pendapatan, efesiensi dan BEP usahatani ubi jalar di Kecamatan Koto Tangah. Responden yang digunakan ditentukan secara non probability sampling dengan metode sampling incidental, sampel yang diambil sebanyak 30 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis penerimaan, pendapatan dan analisis kelayakan usaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan usahatani ubi jalar yang dilakukan di Kecamatan Koto Tangah adalah sebesar Rp. 1.323.950dan nilai R/C 1,39 berdasarkan nilai R/C yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa usahatani ubi jalar layak untuk diusahakan. Biaya terbesar yang dikeluarkan oleh petani responden mentimun adalah biaya tenaga kerja dalam keluarga. Impas nilai (BEP) produksi usahatani ubi jalar di Kecamatan Koto Tangah yaitu sebesar 351,86. Sedangkan titik impas harga sebesar Rp. 2.507/kg

Abstract

The agricultural sector is the largest contributor to the Gross Domestic Product in boosting the economy in Dharmasraya District. In Dharmasraya District, West Sumatra Province, this research was conducted using the analysis tool Entopian Diversity Index and Klassen Typology. These results indicate that the agricultural sector in Dharmasraya Regency has not developed. Paddy, peanuts, rubber and palm oil are rapidly growing commodities that dominate the agricultural economic growth of Dharmasraya District.

Abstract

Packaging atau kemasan suatu produk sangat penting untuk menjadi perhatian oleh pelaku usaha. Pemilihan Packaging atau kemasan untuk suatu produk harus bisa menarik perhatian calon pembeli dan juga dapat menambah nilai ekonomis suatu produk serta teknologi pengemasan yang tepat dapat memperpanjang masa simpan suatu produk.Packaging atau kemasan merupakan aspek penting dalam marketingatau pemasaran karena dapat meningkkan penjualan produk. Sebagai wajah dari suatu produk, tidak hanya desain secara unik dan menarik tapi juga harus informatif. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian adalah memberikan penyuluhan tentang pentingnya label pada kemasan (packaging) produk pada UMKM Serambi Milk dan penyuluhan tentang bentuk kemasan produk UMKM Serambi Milk yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi.Metode penyuluhan merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian dengan menerapkan teknik ceramah dan diskusi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan meningkatnya wawasan dan pengetahuan pelaku usaha UMKM Serambi Milk mengenai kemasan dan packaging suatu produk dan pentingnya memilih dan menggunakan kemasan untuk produk. Abstract

Peanuts are an agricultural commodity with high economic value and are a source of protein in Indonesian food. This research aims to analyze the income and feasibility of peanut farming in Batang Kapas District. The respondents used were 43 farmers. The analytical tools used are revenue and profit analysis, R/C, B/C, production BEP, price BEP, and revenue BEP. The results of the research show that the income of peanut farmers in Batang Kapas District is IDR 4,341,064.88 while the profit is IDR 2,694,404.41, R/C 1.32, so peanut farming in Batang Kapas District is profitable, then B/C is 0.32. The production BEP is 351.18 Kg and the price BEP is IDR 9,089.68 Kg, while the revenue BEP is IDR 4,222,206.33 per MT. In order for income and profits from peanut farming in Batang Kapas District to increase, it is hoped that farmers can improve the method of cultivating peanuts. It is hoped that Peanut farmers in Batang Kapas District can increase their farming production.

Abstract

This study aims to determine analyze the characteristics of tomato farmers, analyze the income of tomato farmers and analyze the risk level of tomato farming in Lembah Gumanti District, Solok Regency. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive The analysis used is income, variety, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, and lower limit. The respondents who were sampled were 40 farmers with a population of 423 farmers and were selected randomly (proportional random sampling). The results showed that the characteristics of tomato farmers have a productive age of 25 to 48 years, a low level of education, farmers who already have long farming experience. The amount of cash costs incurred by farmers is IDR 6,456,733.33 / MT and the calculated costs are IDR. 4,919,309.63/MT with revenue of Rp 23,608,331.25/MT so that cash income is Rp 17,209,386.82/MT and total income is Rp 12,290,077.19/MT. Tomato farming has a production risk level with a KV value of 10.39, price risk with a KV value of 18.56, and income risk with a KV value of 13.36 with a lower income limit of Rp 10,450,763.47 where this figure will indicate the amount of loss that will be experienced by tomato farmer

Abstract

Agricultural instructor performance can be seen in the aspects of preparation, implementation, evaluation, and reporting, agricultural extension development and agricultural extension professional development. The performance of agricultural extension agents in general can be seen in the aspects of preparation, implementation, evaluation, and reporting, agricultural extension development and agricultural extension professional development. This study aims to find out (1) Describe the characteristics of field agricultural extension workers in Pesisir Selatan District; (2) Describe the extension activities in Pesisir Selatan Regency; (3) Analyze relationship between the characteristics of field agricultural extension, extension activities to the performance of field agricultural extension workers in Pesisir Selatan Regency. The analytical tools used are descriptive qualitative analysis, validity test, reliability test, Spearman rank correlation test. The results of this study indicate that agricultural extension workers in Pesisir Selatan District are dominated by males by 53.10 percent with a vulnerable age of 45-49 years, education level S1, average work experience 11-16 years, the number of assisted farmer groups is 12-16 farmer groups, and the working area is 80-111 kilometers. Preparation of agricultural extension is in very good category. Characteristics which include (age, education level, work experience, assisted farmer groups, work area) are significantly related to agricultural extension performance and extension activities which include (preparation, implementation, evaluation and reporting) are significantly related to agricultural extension performance variables Keywords:

Abstract

Integrated Participatory Developmenet and Management of Irrigation Program (IPDMIP) is one of the government programs contained in Indonesia's 2005-2025 RPJPN to support national food security. Strengthening farmer groups is one thing that supports the successful implementation of the IPDMIP program. The problems that occur include; Farmer groups are not used as a forum for achieving collective goals but rather for achieving individual goals. Farmer group development programs are not carried out consistently, and there is still a lack of counseling and assistance for farmer groups. The solution offered to overcome this problem is direct education to management and members of farmer groups. The direct counseling method used is a combination of lecture and discussion. The results of the outreach carried out increased the knowledge of farmer group members. Strengthening farmer institutions is very necessary in the context of protecting and empowering farmers. Farmers can develop institutions from, by and for farmers to strengthen and fight for the interests of farmers themselves in accordance with a combination of culture, norms, values and local wisdom of farmers.

Abstract

Corn is a commodity that plays an important role as food for humans and livestock. When the poultry industry began to develop accompanied by an increase in rice production, the use of corn gradually shifted slightly to animal feed or fodder. This study aims to 1) describe the characteristics of corn petai 2) analyze the income of corn farmers 3) analyze the feasibility of corn farming in Luhak Nan Duo, West Pasaman Regency. Methods of taking Respondents in this study using Proportional Random Sampling with a total of 44 respondents. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative analysis and cost analysis (accounted costs and cash costs) analysis of income and receipts. The results showed that the characteristics of corn farmers in the Luhak Nan Duo area, West Pasaman Regency, gender were dominated by 75 percent male, respondents aged 39-45 years by 36.36 percent, junior high school education 40.90 percent, 3-5 years farming experience 34.09 percent, with a farmer's land area of 1-1.1 Ha by 59.09 percent, the status of owning land is 61.36 percent, the average income of corn farmers in Luhak Nan Duo District is Rp. 13,903,147.05 per farmer per land area per planting season with an R/C value of 1.89 so that farming in Luhak Nan Duo District is feasible to develop.

Abstract

Kabupaten Agam memiliki peranan yang relatif tinggi terhadap PDRB Sumatera Barat dengan nilai rata-rata dari tahun 2016-2020 yaitu sebesar 13,73 persen. Kabupaten Agam memiliki potensi yang besar dalam mengembangkan sektor pertanian sehingga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Menganalisis komoditas unggulan basis 2) menganalisis daya saing perekonomian sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Agam, 3) Menganalisis tren komoditas pertanian di masa yang akan datang. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Location Quotion, Analisys Shift Share dan Dynamic Location Quotion. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Kabupaten Agam memiliki komoditas basis sebanyak 48 persen dari 62 komoditas. 2) subsektor tanaman pangan, hortikultura dan perkebunan memiliki daya saing di pasar dimana menunjukkan pertumbuhan yang baik dan menonjol. 3) terdapat 35 persen dari 62 komoditas basis dimasa yang akan datang yang terdapat di subsektor tanaman pangan, hortikultura dan perkebunan di Kabupaten Agam.
