Abstract

The goal of this research is to produce learning media used context make pia cake that has category valid, practical and effective to train creativity thinking learning in primary school students. The research was conducted in 5th grade elementary school as many as 30 students. The research method used is three stages of the 4D model, namely definition, planning, development with the design of one group pretest - posttest design. This research produces 1) validity data syllabus (very valid), lesson plan (valid), teaching materials (valid), worksheet (very valid) and creative thinking skills test (valid); 2) Practicality data taken from the implementation practicality of lesson plan with good criteria; 3) The effectiveness of the device produces an N- Gain value from four components of creative thinking i.e. fluency in the high category, flexibility originality and elaboration are medium. The student's response shows delight and intrigue when learning is done using the development of contextual learning devices to train students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to develop an android-based educational game media, "Perjalanan Si Maya," as a formative assessment to improve critical thinking skills and interest in learning elementary school students. Method: This research is a type of development research (R&D). The development method used in this research is ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Results: The results showed that the development of an android-based educational game media, "Perjalanan Si Maya," as a formative assessment was declared valid based on acquiring the very valid category. The result of practicality is classified as very good (very practical). The result of effectiveness Based on N-Gain, the mean value of the control class obtained a mean value in the "less effective" category. In contrast, the experimental class obtained a mean value in the "moderately effective" category. The results of student learning interest have increased from before learning to after learning using educational game media “Perjalanan Si Maya. Novelty: Teachers can carry out formative assessments through educational games to train students' critical thinking skills and interest in learning to become more qualified, effective, and efficient.

Abstract

Objective: This development aims to produce a flipbook-based guided inquiry learning model to train science process skills that are feasible in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Method: The type of research used is development research. The development model used is the 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The assessment instrument used in this study consisted of learning device validation sheets and science process skills tests. Results: Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that digital-based flipbooks obtain an average validation in the valid category. These results indicate that flipbooks can be used as learning media. Novelty: The novelty of this research is an inquiry-based feature on flipbooks about temperature and heat, which can train students' science process skills. In addition, the developed inquiry-based Flipbook is also a digital flipbook.

Abstract

Objective: In the era of global society 5.0, people worldwide are faced with demands to keep pace with the development of technology and knowledge by developing their "hard skills" and "soft skills." Ever-evolving technologies are utilized to achieve this goal. One example of its implementation in education is the use of websites in science learning. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of learning websites in improving student achievement. Method: Using the systematic literature review method, the research collects and analyzes twenty articles related to learning websites. Result: The results of the twenty journals showed that the use of website media has a positive impact on improving student achievement in the context of science learning. This reflects the critical role of technology in education in the era of global society 5.0. There has been a significant increase in minimum score achievement and student satisfaction with learning. Using the website allows students to learn efficiently and flexibly anywhere. This indicates that learning websites effectively aid students' comprehension of the material, motivate them to learn, and foster interest in learning. Novelty: The website learning media must continue to be developed. In the era of a global society, 5.0 technology in education is essential. This is based on an analysis of the data obtained regarding the use of website media for science learning.

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to describe and analyze the scientific literacy achievements of prospective science teacher students. Scientific literacy is one of the skills that prospective science teacher students must master to promote scientific literacy at the primary and secondary education levels. Method: This research is a quantitative descriptive research. Data was collected using a purposive sampling technique so that a sample of 65 students from the Bachelor of Science Education Study Program at Ganesha University of Education was obtained. The research instrument used was the Test of Scientific Literacy Skills (TOSLS) which consisted of 28 multiple-choice questions. This research is a preliminary study of research and development (R&D) of innovative science learning models to increase students' scientific literacy. Results: The results of the research show that the literacy achievement of prospective science teacher students is very low with the scientific literacy achievement in the aspect of identifying and assessing inquiry methods that contribute to scientific knowledge at very low and the aspect of compiling, analyzing, and understanding quantitative data and scientific information of very low. Novelty: This research provides an overview of the scientific literacy achievements of prospective science teacher students which can be used as a basis for developing innovative science learning models to increase the scientific literacy of prospective science teacher students.
