Abstract

In 2016 PP PBSI published a book of criteria and physical parameters for athletes entering national training and version 1 for athletes. There is an agility test called the agility court. However, this agility court test does not yet have the validity and reliability values needed for a trial, so it still needs to be tested for validity and reliability. This study aims to reveal the truth and reliability of the badminton game agility court test in athletes aged from children to Adolescents. This research uses a descriptive method. The population used in this study were all badminton athletes in the Tasikmalaya region, and as many as 103 people were sampled in this study by purposive sampling. Analysis of the data used is to test the level of validity and reliability of the test using Product Moment correlation through IBM SPSS 26. The study results for athletes from the City of Tasikmalaya have a validity degree of 0.772, including the High variety and a reliability degree of 0.921, including the High variety. Athletes in Tasikmalaya Regency have a validity degree of 0.767, including the High variety and a reliability degree of 0.939, including the High variety. The conclusion is that the badminton agility court test is valid and reliable, and this test can be used to measure the agility of athletes from children to Adolescents.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Case Method compared with conventional instruction in improving badminton learning outcomes among Physical Education students. Employing an Ex Post Facto design, the research involved two classes selected through cluster random sampling, each consisting of 30 students. Learning outcomes were assessed across cognitive, psychomotor, and tactical domains using written tests, technical performance assessments, and game-play observations with standardized instruments. Data were analyzed using an independent t-test after meeting the assumptions of normality and homogeneity. The results indicate that students taught using the Case Method achieved significantly higher scores than those receiving conventional instruction (t = 13.942; p < 0.001). These findings confirm that the Case Method is more effective in enhancing technical proficiency, tactical understanding, and decision-making skills. Therefore, the Case Method is recommended for integration into badminton instruction to comprehensively improve students’ learning outcomes. Abstract

The objective of this study is to summarize, compare, and interpret empirical evidence related to the integration of social behavior in Physical Education (PJOK) learning. The method used in this study is a narrative literature review with a multi-stage selection process following the PRISMA flow, identifying 100 articles from reputable databases such as Scopus, Taylor & Francis, SAGE Journals, and Google Scholar, filtered to include SINTA-indexed journals. After deduplication, title–abstract screening, and full-text assessment, a total of 30 articles met the inclusion criteria. The analysis was conducted using a thematic narrative synthesis by grouping studies based on similarities in concepts, objectives, intervention models, and social behavior outcomes, along with methodological analysis using quality indicators such as research design, sample size, appropriateness of affective instruments, and measurement reliability. The results of this study reveal four main themes: (1) the effectiveness of Cooperative Learning in developing students’ cooperation, communication, empathy, and responsibility; (2) the contribution of social values and the affective domain in shaping character and prosocial behavior; (3) the role of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and emotion regulation interventions in strengthening students’ social behavior; and (4) the role of teachers and the school environment as determining factors in the successful integration of social behavior in PJOK learning. In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of strengthening teacher competencies, developing standardized affective assessment instruments, and the need for experimental and longitudinal research to address existing methodological gaps. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of physical education in the development of character, motivation, and student participation through a literature review of relevant studies. The research method used is a narrative literature review with a staged selection process of articles obtained from the Scopus, Taylor & Francis, SAGE, and Google Scholar databases indexed in SINTA. The results of the study indicate that physical education plays an important role in developing character values such as discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and sportsmanship through direct and interactive learning experiences. In addition, psychological factors such as autonomous motivation and body image perception influence the level of student participation in physical education learning. The implementation of inclusive pedagogical approaches, the incorporation of student voice, and the connection of learning activities with real-life contexts are also shown to enhance student engagement and learning experiences. In conclusion, physical education has a strategic role in supporting the development of character, motivation, and student participation; therefore, strengthening teacher competencies, providing policy support, and promoting innovative learning approaches are necessary to optimize the implementation of physical education.
