Abstract

This research aims at analyzing the influence of cooperative model of make a match in improving the student’s learning outcomes on history subject at SMA Negeri 1 Palu. 80 students were taken as research samples; 40 grade eleventh students of IPS 2 as a control class. The samples were taken through purposive sampling on the basis of certain criteria determined by the researcher in accordance with the research purpose. This was an experimental research applyian t-test to analyze the data. The results show that the cooperative model of make a match gives influence toward the students learning oucomes. The students were taught using cooperative model of make a match got higher score than they who were taught using a convenational learning method.

Abstract

Meloxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) with gastrointestinal side effects, hence it's used in transdermal patch preparations as a substitute. Meloxicam was dispersed in PEG 6000 (1:8) and formed as a transdermal patch using sodium lauryl sulfate as a penetration enhancer in this study. The purpose of this study is to see how sodium lauryl sulfate, used as a penetration enhancer, affects the physicochemical characteristics and diffusion of meloxicam in solid dispersion transdermal patches. The patch comes in four different formulas, each with a different concentration of sodium lauryl sulfate: 0% (F0), 1% (F1), 3% (F2), and 5% (F3). The physicochemical parameters of each formula were evaluated, including organoleptic tests, pH, thickness, weight uniformity, moisture content, and folding resistance, as well as diffusion tests. Each formula's transdermal patch has physicochemical characteristics that fulfill the literature's standards. The percentage of meloxicam diffused in each formula was 80.6683 percent, 85.8091 percent, 90.7508 percent, and 93.3322 percent, respectively, with each formula's diffusion rate kinetics following Higuchi's kinetics. The physicochemical characteristics and diffusion rate of the meloxicam transdermal patch were altered by sodium lauryl sulfate (p < 0.05). The most promising patch as an alternative to meloxicam dosage form is meloxicam solid dispersion transdermal patch formulation with 5% sodium lauryl sulfate content.

Abstract

One of the problems related to the issue of damage to aquatic ecosystems due to environmental pollution in Indonesia is the use of surfactant-based detergents, which make it difficult for people to degrade naturally. Making environmentally friendly liquid detergent products made from MES surfactants can be a learning experience for students using the low-carbon STEM project-based learning model concept. This model is a more practical approach to developing creative thinking skills and is part of a learning community for continuous learning. This service activity is collaborative between universities and schools in applying STEM to chemistry learning. This activity is an alternative form of learning chemistry to stimulate students' fascination and interest in learning material, which is often considered challenging. The activity method uses group simulation and experimental methods to optimize material delivery. Based on evaluation data that was paired t-tested, there was a significant increase in students' understanding of the material (p<0.05) with an increase in the average test score from 40.44 to 89.56. Apart from that, most of the activity participants also showed active participation and enthusiasm.

Abstract

The social problems of children with difficult economic environments or incomplete families are the concern of the government and society to overcome them. Al-Ma'un Orphanage is one of Muhammadiyah's charitable efforts as a social institution that provides religious guidance and other creativity for foster children so that they can be independent and useful for society. This orphanage fosters approximately 30 children of various ages. The aim of the foster child development system to created of independent creativity through training in making herbal liquid bath soap. Aloe vera is a plant that is easy to grow and has many benefits for skin health such as moisturizing, softening, and as an antioxidant that can inhibit the premature aging process of the skin. Training is carried out using educational and experimental methods by directly involving participants. The results of the training were measured through the evaluation of the pre-test and post-test values with significant results based on the statistical analysis of the paired t-test (p <0.05). There was a significant increase in participants' knowledge before and after the training activity. This training is not only aimed at nurturing, but also providing provisions for children so that one day they will have hope and a better future because children as God's mandate, the next generation of the nation must get the widest possible opportunity to grow and develop optimally.

Abstract

Pemilihan kemasan merupakan salah satu pengembangan produk yang dapat dilakukan untuk dapat meningkatkan harga jual dari suatu produk dan merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam mempertahankan mutu, keamanan dan khasiat dari suatu produk selama masa penyimpanan dan penggunaan. Edukasi mengenai pemilihan kemasan merupakan salah satu program pembinaan lanjutan yang dilaksanakan di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) II Bandung. Pada kegiatan ini peserta terdiri atas 18 anak didik lapas (andikpas) yang berusia dibawah 18 tahun. Selain materi mengenai pemilihan kemasan, peserta juga diberikan workshop berupa cara pembuatan sabun cair sari nanas dan pembuatan label kemasan produk kosmetik. Pencapaian target luaran dinilai dengan membandingkan rata-rata nilai pretest dan posttest yang diperoleh oleh peserta. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan rata-rata nilai posttest bila dibandingkan nilai pretest, namun tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna (sig 2-tailed > 0,0005) yang menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh pemberian materi dan workshop pada anak didik LPKA II Bandung.
