Abstract

Every people being is getting accustomed to using android based smartphone, not exception elementary school students. Even parents feel the hassle when asked his son to learn if using a smartphone. Therefore a new approach is needed in order for the elementary school students easily asked learning. One such approach is to use an android based smartphone as a media students learning. The method of this research is research and development method. System development used is waterfall. The purpose of this research resulted in the android game to increase interest in learning. The result of this research is android based games have been produced to increase interest in learning mathematics elementary school students. Keywords: Game, Android, Interest in Learning

Abstract

Children who have different conditions from other normal children both in terms of mental, physical, and social characteristics are called children with special needs. A different approach is also needed in Teaching and Learning Activities (TLA) with other normal children, because of the different conditions with other normal children. Using an Android-based learning media device is one of the different approaches as an effective learning strategy for children with special needs to help understand the material presented by the teacher. This community service was carried out at Nurul Jadid Middle School, Paiton District, Probolinggo Regency, for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. applied android applications to help children with special needs learn is the goal of this community service. This community service method is community service development (Research & Development The procedure used in this community service is the ADDIE development model, the development consisting of five stages consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of this community service have applied an android application as an effective learning strategy for children with special needs at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

A conditions that are different from other Normal Children in terms of mental, physical, and social characteristics called Children with Special Needs. Dyscalculia is a term referring to a wide range of difficulties with mathematics, including weaknesses in understanding the meaning of numbers, and difficulty applying mathematical principles to solve problems. The difference in conditions with other normal children, required a different approach in Teaching and Learning Activities of the other Normal Children. One of these different approaches is to use mobile learning devices as an effective learning media for Children with Special Needs to realize the material presented by the Teacher. This research was carried out for the 2020/2021 Students at Junior High School of Nurul Jadid, Karang Anyar Paiton Probolinggo. The purpose of this research is to produce an android application to help Children with Special Needs learn. This research method is research and development. The result of this research is that an android application has been produced as an effective learning media for children with special needs.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran yang digunakan selama masa pandemi covid-19 oleh MAN 1 Probolinggo menggunakan model pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas. Metode pembelajaran konvensional yang masih digunakan oleh sebagian Guru MAN 1 Probolinggo membuat beberapa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi matematika. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mmemberikan peningkatan dalam : (1) kemampuan guru dalam mendesain media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis komputer; (2) kemampuan guru melaksanakan, melatih, serta merespon guru MAN 1 Probolinggo dalam program ini, meliputi pemanfaatan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis komputer. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM ini yaitu metode deskrptif. Tahapan pelaksanaan program yang digunakan yaitu sosialisasi, pematerian, pelatihan, pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Program PkM dilaksanakan dalam 5 kali tatap muka, tatap muka pertama kegiatan penyajian materi, serta tatap muka kedua berupa pendampingan pembuatan media pembelajaran sampai selesai, dan kegiatan penutup dilaksanakan evaluasi yang berupa kegiatan peserta mendeskripsikan media pembelajaran yang sudah dikembangkan serta tanggapan Guru MAN 1 Probolinggo terhadap pelatihan melalui pengisian angket. Hasil Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini ialah telah dihasilkan beberapa media pembelajaran oleh Guru MAN 1 Probolinggo. Selain itu, Peserta program PkM ini menyatakan bahwa peserta tertarik mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis android.

Abstract

Program inovatif ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT). Dalam artikel ini, penulis menguraikan langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam pelaksanaan program pembinaan, termasuk tahap perencanaan, pengembangan media, pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Melalui penggunaan IoT, guru di Kabupaten Probolinggo dapat menghadirkan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, dinamis, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa masa kini. Artikel ini juga menyoroti manfaat yang diperoleh oleh guru dan siswa dari penerapan teknologi IoT dalam proses pembelajaran, seperti akses ke sumber daya belajar yang lebih beragam, pengumpulan data secara real-time, serta kemampuan untuk melakukan pemantauan dan evaluasi secara efektif. Dalam artikel ini, penulis juga membahas tantangan yang mungkin dihadapi selama implementasi program, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi dan kurangnya keterampilan teknis di kalangan beberapa guru. Namun, berbagai strategi dan solusi juga disajikan untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala tersebut. Hasil dari PkM ini diharapkan dapat memberikan panduan dan inspirasi bagi pihak-pihak terkait, termasuk pemerintah daerah, lembaga pendidikan, dan para pengambil kebijakan, untuk memperkuat penggunaan teknologi IoT dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Dengan adanya program pembinaan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis IoT, diharapkan bahwa tingkat partisipasi, pemahaman, dan prestasi siswa di Kabupaten Probolinggo akan mengalami peningkatan secara signifikan.

Abstract

Anak berkebutuhan khusus adalah anak yang memiliki kondisi berbeda dengan anak normal lainnya baik dalam hal mental, fisik, maupun karakteristik sosialnya. Oleh karena perbedaan kondisi dengan anak normal lainnya, maka dibutuhkan pendekatan berbeda pula dalam Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (KBM) dengan anak normal lainnya. Salah satu pendekatan yang berbeda tersebut ialah menggunakan perangkat mobile learning sebagai strategi pembelajaran efektif bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus untuk membantu memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Sidodadi Kecamatan Paiton Kabupaten Probolinggo Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi android untuk membantu belajar anak berkebutuhan khusus. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research & Development). Hasil penelitian ini adalah telah dihasilkan aplikasi android sebagai strategi pembelajaran efektif bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus di Kecamatan Paiton.
