Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension is a major problem in Indonesia, with a prevalence of 25.8%. Cases are increasing due to several reasons including lack of knowledge, people's behavior shows bad behavior to prevent high blood pressure. One of the factors that cause hypertension is due to genetics, lifestyle and behavior. Low awareness of high blood pressure treatment is a major cause of complications. Objective: This counseling aims to increase general knowledge about preventing complications of hypertension. This is done through visits and training with community discussions and blood pressure checks. Method: The method carried out is in the form of visits and providing counseling accompanied by observations of the community, then blood pressure checks are carried out. The counseling will be held on November 7, 2021 in Wanareja District. Plus providing education about hypertension, then leaflets to provide insight to the public equipped with free blood pressure activities. Result: The evaluation results show that it has been carried out well in accordance with the indicators results and criteria on the Evaluation Sheet instrument. The Evaluation Sheet is based on five dimensions,namely Punctuality and Duration, Participation, Knowledge, Job Description and Solving The evaluation sheet is filled out by two independent observers Conclustion: In accordance with the results of the evaluation, outreach activities for controlling hypertension by implement PATUH behavior (regular health checks and must follow the recommendations)from the doctor, Overcome the disease with good, correct and regular treatment, but diet together good nutrition, Strive for safe physical activity, Avoid people who like smoking, substancescarcinogenic and alcohol). has been accompanied by a fairly precise time indicator as well as Duration, Participation, Knowledge, Job Description and Problem Solving.

Abstract

Introduction: Dengue virus infection often occurs during the rainy season, which is caused by the bite of the Aedes Aegepti mosquito, geographical and environmental conditions are for the main supporting factors for the spread and breeding of Aedes aegepti mosquitoes which cause an increase in cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever. The prevention program seeks to reduce the breeding potential of mosquito larvae which are the cause of dengue fever cases. Objective: This Community Service Program aims to increase knowledge, self-management and the environment as an effort to prevent dengue fever from spreading in communities Two sindangsari of public elementary shcool. Method: The health education program's is using the sampling method with 30 people used as a sample that aims to increase knowledge supported by media leaflets, Power Point presentations, animation, discussions, questions and answers, and interviews, covering the preparation stage to individual evaluation. Result: The results of this health counseling activity were that 10 (33.3%) of the total participants who attended the counseling had contracted dengue fever and had been hospitalized. Conclusion: The conclusions of this activity are leaflets, presentations and animated videos as media for prevention education.

Abstract

Objective: This case study aims to describe the effect of early mobilization on the post-appendectomy recovery process in appendicitis patients. Method: The research design used was a case study with a nursing care approach covering assessments, formulating diagnoses, interventions, implementation, and evaluation, which were carried out for 4 days from Mar 30 to Apr 3, 2023, in the Orchid Room of the Banjar City BLUD. The enforcement of nursing diagnoses refers to the IDHS, SIKI, and SLKI, and nursing evaluations are documented using the SOAPIER method. This case study uses a descriptive method with one respondent involved, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, documentation, and physical examination.Result: Nursing diagnosis of decreased physical mobility (D.0054) associated with postoperative physical weakness. 4 days of mobilization interventions were carried out with a duration of 30 minutes per day. After intervention, nursing problems related to patient mobility disabilities were resolved by increasing muscle strength, which was initially muscle strength in the upper extremities, namely 4 and 3 in the lower extremities, to 5 in the muscle strength of the upper extremities and 4 in the lower extremities, as well as an increase in the patient's independent activity patterns.Conclusion: The provision of mobilization interventions is useful in improving the recovery process after appendectomy, and the benefits of therapy will be maximized if it is carried out regularly and gradually.
