<![CDATA[In female perspectives, there are assumptions of strains caused by dramatized biological differences. Therefore, they stipulate the need of scientific to find the psychological differences among males and females. Their spirit in finding those answers resulting on some movements, for instance emancipation, feminism or females freedom, leading to one point: giving same right, chances and responsibility among males and females. The root of feminism basically has already existed since the 19th century. That movement has developed in some countries, not only in United States of America but also in Western Europe, Japan and some Islam dominated countries which the laters are claimed by western as the tormenter of females while in reality Islam is proven as the reverse one.]]>

<![CDATA[Ijtihad, according to Arkoun, is a law concluding process by using many exegesis techniques to understand Qur’an and Hadith. Arkoun, furthermore, said that the role of ijtihad is expanded to various more radical fields not only theology-juridical field, but also the revelation itself with Islamic rational criticism. One of the parts of Islamic rational criticism is to do historical clarification through reviewing the Quran exegesis correctly and freshly. This is done to find other meaning of the texts. In another word, to reconstruct must deconstruct the texts. Arkoun used historicism method to be applied in understanding the Quran that is how to understand the Quran critically and deeply from various different views and method from what have been done before. He viewed the Quran has uttered many interpreted texts from it that are able to fulfill many needs in certain periods after the revelation of the Quran.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper tries to study and criticize an interesting topic of Islamic education center in Java in the context of history up to the Java War period. There are two important things that will be studied related to the topic, first, the chronology of growth and development of Islam in Java, and second, a center of Islamic education in sociocultural perspective by placing the Java community institutions such as the center of education activity. The dynamics of growth and development of Islamic educational institutions are influenced by not only internal factors of the founders, but also the external factors that are global. Accumulatively - integratively, both effects fuse and produce a format and style of Islamic educational institutions as will be described through this study.]]>

<![CDATA[Through intellectual discourse concerning the standardizationof the Islamic yellow book or the intellectual heritage of classicalIslam, pesantren (Islamic boarding school) institutionalizes thedynamics of its thinking. Islamic boarding school also continues tomove in building and shaping community attitudes to be more able tostand on the dimensions of ethical/moral in its life. In this perspective,undeniably, educational institution of Islamic boarding school hasadequately tested to survive, therefore it can move Islamic boardingschool up into a moral and spiritual ‘workshop’, as well as a center ofIslamic intellectual assessment and development of classical archipelagoas had ever reached its golden peaks in the Islamic worldcivilization. This reality provides a strategic significance for Islamicboarding school in the process of nation building. Therefore, with theintention that Islamic boarding school is still survive (in the otherword, is not “dead”) and in prefenting that Islamic boarding schoolwill be left by its supporters of community, Islamic boarding schoolmust take anticipatory strategic measures. <![CDATA[The object of this study is the students of SMPN 4 Batang Bandar Central Java. It focused on their psycological side relating to their self-concepts. It is a qualitative-phenomenological reasearch. To collect data, it use self-report, rating scale, observation the studentsí behavior, in-depth interviews and caregiver. Based on the data and analysis, it can be concluded that their self-concepts have changed from positive to negative (faded) through successive stages, whether the stages were experienced by them in a whole or in a part. Therefore, the strategy to recover them is needed.]]>
