Abstract

Abstrak -- Pusat pendidikan dan latihan pertahanan udara nasional (Pusdiklathanudnas) Surabaya mempunyai tugas menyelenggarakan pendidikan dan latihan pada spesialisasi sistem pertahanan udara nasional bagi personel organik maupun non organik yang diharapkan mampu menghasilkan sumber daya manusia berkemampuan Hanud yang handal dan berkualitas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis seberapa berpengaruh fasilitas latihan dan kompetensi tenaga pendidik terhadap kualitas hasil didik Pusdiklathanudnas. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan meteode survei dan teknik analisis jalur. Data penelitian yang digunakan, data primer yang diperoleh langsung dengan cara menyebar kuesioner/angket kepada responden personel militer berpangkat Perwira dan Bintara di Pusdiklathanudnas Surabaya dan mantan peserta didik di Pusdiklathanudnas Surabaya sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumen, menggunakan studi literatur yang dilakukan terhadap banyak buku dan berdasarkan catatan-catatan yang berhubungan dengan Penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan fasilitas latihan berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kualitas hasil didik sebesar 71%, hal ini berarti fasilitas latihan merupakan variabel penting dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan dan kualitas hasil didik. Kompetensi tenaga pendidik berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kualitas hasil didik sebesar 99%, hal ini berarti kompetensi tenaga pendidik merupakan variabel penting dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas hasil didik. Fasilitas latihan berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kompetensi tenaga pendidik sebesar 84%, hal ini berarti fasilitas latihan merupakan variabel penting dalam meningkatkan kompetensi tenaga pendidik.Kata kunci: fasilitas latihan, kompetensi tenaga pendidik, kualitas hasil didik Abstrak -- The national air defense education and training center (Pusdiklathanudnas) Surabaya has the task of organizing education and training in the specialization of national air defense systems for organic and non-organic personnel who are expected to be able to produce reliable and quality human resources capable of Hanud. The purpose of this study was to analyze how influential the training facilities and the competence of educators on the quality of the results of the Pusdiklathanudnas students' education. By using a quantitative approach with survey methods and path analysis techniques. The research data used primary data obtained directly by distributing questionnaires / questionnaires to respondents military officers with rank of officers and officers at the Surabaya National Education Center and former students at the Surabaya National Education Center while secondary data is obtained from documents, using literature studies conducted on many books and based on records relating to research. The results of the study show that training facilities have a direct positive effect on the quality of student outcomes by 71%, which means that training facilities are important variables in an effort to improve the ability and quality of student outcomes. The competence of teaching staff has a direct positive effect on the quality of student outcomes by 99%, this means that the competence of educators is an important variable in an effort to improve the quality of student outcomes. Training facilities have a positive direct effect on the competence of educators by 84%, which means that training facilities are an important variable in increasing the competence of educators.Keywords: training facilities, competency of teaching staff, and quality of student outcomes

Abstract

In this increasingly modern era, innovation in the main tool of the defense system (defense equipment) is the main support in the process of maintaining the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). One of them is the innovation applied to TNI uniforms using electrochromic-based materials, namely PEDOT: PSS. PEDOT:PSS is known to be included in the classification of conductive polymers which have relatively good compatibility in terms of physical and chemical. The application of PEDOT:PSS as smart military textiles is carried out through a three-dimensional (3D) fabrication method, namely die-coating and ink-jet printing with a fabrication process speed of 20 meters per minute. Both of these methods are capable of producing high quality products, easy to design, and able to control the thickness of the substrate in the range of 80 to 750 nm

Abstract

The turbine exhaust system is a critical component in maintaining the structural integrity and airworthiness of turbofan-powered transport aircraft on CFM56-7B engines, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2025-04-03, requiring the modification of the engine primary exhaust nozzle to prevent potential separation and structural damage to the fuselage. This study evaluates the implementation of the directive in the Sriwijaya Air fleet under the scope of Boeing Special Attention Requirements Bulletin 737-78-1106 RB Revision 1. The research method combines airworthiness compliance analysis, engineering inspection, and procedural verification using the Accomplishment Instructions defined in EO M-78-003. The modification involved the installation of TOP KIT 002A0123-1 for Off-Wing Rework Kit and 002A0123-2 for On-Wing Installation Kit, the replacement of affected part numbers 314A2610-1, -62, -68, and incorporation of Airworthiness Limitations (AWLs) Nos. 2, 3, and 4 into the operator’s maintenance program. The results confirm that the affected aircraft—registrations PK-CRI, PK-CRA, PK-CRE, and PK-CRH—belong to Group 1 configuration and require mandatory action within 90 days after the AD effective date April 8, 2025, and must be inspection completed before July 31, 2028.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan material pelindung dengan rasio kekuatan terhadap berat yang tinggi semakin meningkat seiring dengan tuntutan mobilitas dan efisiensi sistem pertahanan modern. High Entropy Alloys (HEAs), sebagai kelas material logam multikomponen berbasis multi-principal elements, menawarkan pendekatan nonkonvensional dalam desain paduan yang berpotensi melampaui performa baja armor konvensional. Studi ini meninjau secara komprehensif perkembangan terbaru mengenai sifat mekanik, perilaku deformasi dinamis, dan ketahanan benturan balistik dari berbagai sistem HEAs. Melalui pendekatan systematic literature review, artikel ini mengidentifikasi empat efek inti HEAs seperti entropi tinggi, distorsi kisi, difusi lambat, dan efek koktail sebagai faktor fundamental yang menghasilkan kombinasi luar biasa antara kekuatan, keuletan, dan ketangguhan. Dibandingkan dengan lapis baja seperti Ramor 550 dan Armox 500T yang memiliki kekuatan spesifik (specific strength) 159–208 MPa·g/cm³, beberapa HEAs (misalnya AlCuFeMnMgTi) menunjukkan nilai hingga >500 MPa·g/cm³ dengan kekerasan mencapai 770 HV. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa HEAs mampu mencapai efisiensi struktural dan ketahanan deformasi lebih tinggi pada densitas yang lebih rendah, menjadikannya kandidat unggul untuk aplikasi armor ringan berperforma tinggi. Tantangan utama yang diidentifikasi meliputi optimasi komposisi, kontrol mikrostruktur selama pemrosesan, serta isu biaya dan skalabilitas manufaktur. Kajian ini menegaskan bahwa dengan integrasi antara desain berbasis komputasi, powder metallurgy, dan arsitektur material berlapis atau hibrida, HEAs berpotensi menjadi material strategis dalam pengembangan lapis baja generasi mendatang yang ringan, tangguh, dan adaptif terhadap ancaman balistik modern.

Abstract

Gamma radiation emitted by the Cobalt-60 (⁶⁰Co) isotope is a high-energy ionizing radiation source widely employed in various applications. The gamma photons produced, with energies ranging from 1.17 MeV to 1.33 MeV, possess a high penetrating capability; consequently, the selection of an appropriate shielding material is critical to ensuring radiation safety and protection. Previous experimental studies have largely focused on lead (Pb) as the primary shielding material, which is nevertheless limited by its toxicity and the relatively high cost of its handling and disposal, thereby motivating the search for safer and more economical alternatives. However, systematic comparisons of the shielding effectiveness of several candidate materials against ⁶⁰Co gamma radiation under controlled thickness and testing conditions remain limited. This study therefore aims to determine and compare the Linear Attenuation Coefficient (LAC) of several selected materials and to evaluate their effectiveness as gamma radiation shields. The method employed involves experimental measurement of radiation intensity using a calibrated detector after transmission through samples of varying material composition; the resulting data are subsequently analyzed using the Beer–Lambert law to calculate the attenuation coefficient of each material.
