Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dimotivasi oleh banyak siswa yang memiliki kesalahpahaman tentang konsep hukum Newton, misalnya, siswa tidak dapat menentukan pasangan reaksi tindakan kekerasan, tidak ada gaya yang bekerja pada obyek stasioner, obyek massa kecil memiliki inersia yang lebih besar, benda bergerak dengan kecepatan konstan memiliki percepatan konstan. Dengan metode Instruksi rekan pengajaran dengan menggunakan Prototype Terstruktur Kirim Berbasis Media Cmaptools (PISIPMBCT) dapat menjadi solusi alternatif untuk masalah ini, karena metode ini dapat mengidentifikasi dan mengurangi kesalahpahaman siswa dan penggunaan media berbasis cmaptools adalah mungkin untuk memvisualisasikan konsep fisika dianggap abstrak. Penelitian menggunakan desain pra-eksperimen dengan desain kelompok satu studi pretest-postest desain di salah satu kelas VIII di SMP di Bandung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan efektivitas pengurangan kesalahpahaman tentang konsep mahasiswa hukum Newton melalui penerapan metode PISIPMBCT. Hasil menunjukkan keuntungan normal rata-rata 0,61 menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode PISIPMBCT dianggap efektif dalam mengurangi kesalahpahaman tentang mahasiswa hukum Newton pada bahan dengan kategori sedang. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah produk metode pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran berbasis bahan cmaptools hukum Newton. Namun dalam penelitian ini masih ada beberapa hal yang perlu dikembangkan, yaitu pengembangan konten pengajaran dan kemampuan untuk meminta materi PMBCT untuk dapat membangun struktur pengetahuan siswa dalam penyelidikan fase.ABSTRACTThe research was motivated by the many students who have misconceptions on the concept of Newton's law, for example, students can not determine the action reaction force pairs, there is no force acting on a stationary object, the object of small mass have greater inertia, objects moving with constant velocity has a constant acceleration. With Peer Instruction method of teaching by using a Prototype Structured Inquiry-Based Media Cmaptools (PISIPMBCT) may be an alternative solution to these problems, because this method can identify and reduce student misconceptions and the use of media-based cmaptools it is possible to visualize the concepts of physics are considered abstract. Research using the pre-experimental design with the design of the study one group pretest-postest design in one of the class VIII at the Junior High School in Bandung. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the reduction of misconceptions on the concept of Newton's law students through the application of the method PISIPMBCT. The results showed an average normalized gain of 0.61 indicating that the application of the method PISIPMBCT considered effective in reducing misconceptions about Newton's law students on the material with the medium category. The study produced a product of learning methods and media-based learning materials cmaptools to Newton's law. Nevertheless in this study are still some things that need to be developed, namely the development of teaching content and the ability to ask PMBCT material to be able to build students' knowledge structures in phase inquiry.

Abstract

Scientific Reasoning (SR)  is an important ability for improving students intellectual which consist of ability of explaining, hypotesis, prediction, problem solving, design experiment, control variable, analyze data and determining empiris law to find knowledge by student’s self. Based on previous research found that SR did not measured good enough, it could be seen by document analyzes about the quality of test that is developed at school. Therefore, this research purposed  to develope SR’s test on the subject of optics. SR test were adopted by LCTSR standard. From 45 item which is tested, the were 24 item selected and had reliability 0,68 with high category and the rank of validty 0,5 val 1 with rang category enough to high. By using quantitatif-descriptif method, this reserach was applied by sample 34 students. The result of this test was compared with LCTSR satndard test which has reliability 0,76. It means that LCTSR test which is developed could be used to measure SR.
