Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan menentukan kongjungsi pada teks eksposisi menggunakan model pembelaran Problem Based Learning siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Liliriaja. Masalah yang akan dipecahkan yakni bagaimanakah kemampuan menentukan konjungsi pada teks eksposisi menggunakan model pembelajarn Problem Based Learning siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Liliriaja. Jenis penelitian ini yakni penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 2 Liliriaja pada siswa kelas VIII B. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan 2 siklus. Intrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi siswa dan guru. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik tes dan nontes. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan dan pembahasan penilitian tindakan kelas ini penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan menentukan konjungsi dalam teks eksposisi pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Liliriaja, setelah dilakukan penelitian keterampilan menentukan konjungsi dalam teks eksposisi menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning dapat diketahui dari hasil siklus I tidak ada subjek yang berada pada kategori sangat mampu, hanya pada kategori mampu sebesar 9 subjek atau 40,00 persen dan 8 subjek pada kategori cukup mampu atau 37,27 persen, meningkat pada siklus II yaitu sebanyak 3 subjek berada pada kategori sangat mampu atau 13,63 persen dan 17 subjek pada kategori mampu atau 77,31 persen. Dari siklus I ke siklus II meningkat sebanyak 45,00 persen. Dari data tersebut membuktikan bahwa dengan menggunakan media animasi kartun dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menentukan konjungsi pada teks eksposisi siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Liliriaja. Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the greetings of Karaeng and Daeng in the community in Rappocini District, Makassar City. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research which refers to three systematic stages (1) data collection stage, (2) data reduction stage, (3) data presentation stage, (4) conclusion drawing stage. The data in this study were in the form of conversations which were then transcribed into written form using data collection in the form of interviews and observations. Sources of data were obtained from three sources of community leaders in the Rappocini sub-district and various places that became observation locations. The results of the study show that regarding the greetings of Karaeng and Daeng namely, (1) the greetings of Karaeng and Daeng are the highest greetings for the Makassar ethnic area which are now in the Rappocini District. This greeting is also only pinned on certain people by looking at lineage and still having the royal blood of a Karaeng and Daeng, however, greetings that follow based on blood ties only apply in ancient times, different from now, this usage is considered common and is still remains the highest respectful greeting but the embedding is different because it refers to a religion that encourages mutual respect and appreciation so that one of the manifestations of this is to use the greeting to older people, (2) There has been a change in the mention of the greeting Karaeng and Daeng based on the situation and the location of the greeting.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using Audio-Visual media on student learning outcomes in the material of identifying story elements for class V children at Mannuruki State Elementary School. This research is a type of quantitative research using a Quasi Experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The samples studied were fifth grade students at Mannuruki State Elementary School, Tamalate District, Makassar City, namely in the experimental group there were 22 students learning using Audio-Visual media, and in the control group there were 18 students learning without using Audio-Visual media. The data collection instruments used in this research were written tests in the form of essays, initial tests (pretest) and final tests (posttest) to measure student learning outcomes before and after the application of Audio-Visual media and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive analysis test and an inferential sample T test. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the average posttest score for the experimental group was 76.36 and the control group was 58.33. These findings are strengthened based on the results of hypothesis testing using the T-test showing that the condition for the results of t calculated > t table is 6.4839 > 2.0243 with the results of the hypothesis H1 being accepted. This proves that the use of Audio-Visual media has an effect on student learning outcomes in the material on identifying story elements for class V students at SD Negeri Mannuruki, Tamalate District, Makassar City.
