Abstract

This paper presents an approach for evasive maneuver against dynamic obstacles in multi-agent navigation in a crowd evacuation scenario. Our proposed approach is based on reciprocal velocity obstacles (RVO) with a different manner to treat the obstacles. We treat all possible hindrances in velocity space reciprocally thus all collision cones generated by other agents and obstacles are treated in the same RVO manner with the key difference in the effort of avoidance. Our approach assumes that dynamic obstacles bear no awareness of navigation space unlike agents thus the avoidance effort lies on behalf of the mobile agents, creating unmutual effort in an evasive maneuver. We display our approach in an evacuation scenario where a crowd of agents must navigate through an evacuation area trespassing zone filled with dynamic obstacles. These dynamic obstacles consist of random motion built based on Brownian motion thus posses an immense challenge for the mobile agent in order to overcome this hindrance and safely navigate to their evacuation area. Our experimentation shows that 51.1% fewer collisions occurred which is denote safer navigation for agents in approaching their evacuation point.

Abstract

Infrastructure is a major factor in increasing regional productivity and become the center of economic growth. problems arise when infrastructure improvements are only centered on downtown areas. One of the ways to develop regional infrastructure is with media reporting inadequate infrastructure. The use of smartphone technology and geofencing techniques are considered to be helpful in reporting media. Increasingly sophisticated built-in features in smartphones are undeniable proof of the technology’s highly impressive advancement. Mobile applications utilizing location-based services (LBS) assisted by a global positioning systems (GPS) sensor are rapidly becoming popular. One of its most-favorited features is geofencing. The volunteered-geographic-information (VGI)-based reporting system for regional infrastructure damage uses this feature to obtain the data input directly from the users. In this current research, the author uses two methods in geofencing, including crossing number (CN) and winding number (WN). Several previous studies suggest that the combination of these methods might result in faster computation, compared to the raycasting method. By using winding and crossing number methods, 98% of increased accuracy can be obtained, while a prior method could only obtain 96%. An improvement in the system’s speed is also expected.

Abstract

Pair matching merupakan permainan yang berjenis teka-teki. Game ini adalah salah satu permainan klasik di mana player harus menemukan pasangan gambar yang cocok dari gambar yang terbalik untuk memenangkan game ini.  Dalam paper ini, dirancang permainan pair matching yang berisi huruf-huruf hijaiyah. Game ini bertujuan agar anak-anak dapat menghafal huruf hijaiyah. Sebagai tambahan terdapat gambar buah-buahan agar anak-anak tidak bosan memainkan game ini. Dalam game ini ada sistem rangking, ketika player telah selesai, ada catatan waktu tentang berapa lama player tersebut menyelesaikan permainan. Hal ini akan menjadikan tantangan bagi player untuk dapat menyelesaikan permainan lebih cepat. Dalam proses pembuatan game ini, digunakan Unity game engine dengan bahasa pemrograman C#. Hasilnya adalah game edukasi yang dapat dimainkan sebagai media pengenalan huruf hijaiyah.
