Abstract

A complementary ring resonator (CRR) technique is used to improve the bandwidth of the dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) while maintaining other parameters such as the efficiency and the gain. Parametric experiments were conducted in order to demonstrate the suggested antenna's working guideline. The bandwidth of the proposed Antenna is boosted by 769 percent as compared to the antenna without the CRR technique. The proposed antenna has high efficiency of 94 percent and a tiny dimension of around 30×30×12 mm. The suggested antenna has a frequency range from 2.61 to 3.65 GHz, which is suitable for S-band applications. Computer simulation technology (CST) was used to implement the design and obtain the results.

Abstract

Behind the rapid development of the internet in today’s era, various types of crime are also targeting vital players in the internet industry. With many online crime types rampant, an antidote is also needed to suppress internet crime. Therefore, the researcher proposes a solution in the form of a Keris, namely the hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) intrusion detection system (IDS) that runs on the server where our website is running. Keris works by detecting rampant intrusions that attack servers or websites. When an intrusion is detected, Keris will notify the system admin using the Keris Telegram chatbot or an alternative Keris mobile application with firebase cloud messaging (FCM) technology. The research was conducted by comparing the results of one-way delay (OWD) between Telegram Webhook and FCM with the help of the open web application security project (OWASP) zed attack proxy (ZAP) test tool. From the results of the tests, OWD against directory brute force attacks on Telegram Webhook for 0.72 seconds and on FCM for 0.44 seconds. In this case, FCM is more suitable for real-time notifications if we need a very responsive notification.

Abstract

This study introduces a novel e-voting system utilizing blockchain technology to address the challenges inherent to traditional voting methods. Traditional systems often suffer from inaccuracies, susceptibility to manipulation, and elevated costs. Conversely, while e-voting shows potential, issues related to transparency and security have curbed its full adoption. Our research overcomes these hurdles by integrating a system developed through the Kanban methodology, with the blockchain serving as the central repository for all election data. This approach boosts transparency and security, using public-private key pairs for each transaction, and simplifying blockchain access. Organizers initiate elections and define eligible voters; this data is then securely moved to the Ethereum blockchain. Voters can effortlessly use the system, casting votes and accessing real-time, unalterable results. Various communication protocols ensure system stability, with simulated cyberattacks showcasing its security. After exhaustive testing and refinement, areas for further enhancement have been identified. This innovative system offers unmatched transparency and trust in the voting process, marking a considerable leap for trustworthy elections, especially in small to medium-sized settings.
