<![CDATA[Desa Bana Kecamatan Bontocani Kabupaten Bone merupakan dataran tinggi yang terdiri dari hutan alam, hutan produksi terbatas dan hutan produksi tetap sehingga menjadi sumber kekayaan alam dan sumber koloni lebah. Budidaya lebah trigona di Desa Bana masih menggunakan kotak-kotak yang tidak memiliki sekat sehingga tingkat stress lebah akan meningkat saat dipanen. Hal ini menyebabkan produksi madu lebah trigona tidak maksimal sehingga pendapatan petani setempat dari penjualan madu juga rendah. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan beberapa peternak lebah (mitra) disimpulkan bahwa masalah yang terjadi yaitu tingkat pengetahuan mitra rendah mengenai sarang modern sehingga dibutuhkan penerapan teknologi mengenai penggunaan PVC Hive untuk memudahkan dalam pemanenan madu trigona dan mengurangi tingkat stress pada lebah. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh kelompok mitra diberikan beberapa solusi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Peningkatan pengetahuan peternak lebah dengan melakukan proses penyuluhan. Pembinaan berupa perbaikan terhadap metode budidaya yang lebih modern berdasarkan hasil studi ilmiah dan penerapan teknologi tepat guna berupa Double Chamber PVC Hive yang dapat meningkatkan produksi madu dan kemurniaan madu. Pencapaian tujuan kegiatan PKM dapat dilihat dari peningkatan produksi madu trigona dan kemurniaan madu dengan penerapan teknologi Double Chamber PVC Hive pada rumah lebah. Beberapa indikator capaian pada kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat, peningkatan produksi madu trigona, dan percepatan pemanenan karena sumber pakan lebah tercukup. This causes the production of trigona bee honey is not optimal so that the income of local farmers from selling honey is also low. Based on interviews with several beekeepers (partners) it was concluded that the problem that occurred was that the partner's level of knowledge was low about modern hives, so it required the application of technology regarding the use of PVC Hive to facilitate the harvesting of trigona honey and reduce stress levels on bees. The problems faced by the partner group were given several solutions to solve these problems. Increased knowledge of beekeepers by conducting an extension process. Guidance in the form of improvements to more modern cultivation methods based on the results of scientific studies and the application of appropriate technology in the form of Double Chamber PVC Hive which can increase honey production and honey purity.
