Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji perbedaan dependensi pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Surabaya angkatan 2011 ditinjau dari jenis kelamin dan persepsi terhadap pola pengasuhan orang tua. Tujuan lain dari penelitian ini adalah menguji pengaruh antara interaksi jenis kelamin dan persepsi terhadap pola pengasuhan orang tua terhadap dependensi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis varian ganda dengan bantuan program komputer SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) versi 16.0 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan dependensi antara mahasiswa laki-laki dan mahasiswa perempuan (p=0,002) dan terdapat perbedaan dependensi ditinjau dari persepsi terhadap pola pengasuhan orang tua (p=0,001). Hasil penelitian lainnya menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antara jenis kelamin dengan persepsi terhadap pola pengasuhan orang tua tidak memberikan pengaruh siginifikan terhadap dependensi (p=0,658). Berdasarkan jenis kelamin, mahasiswa perempuan memiliki dependensi yang lebih tinggi daripada mahasiswa laki-laki. Berdasarkan persepsi terhadap pola pengasuhan orang tua, mahasiswa yang memiliki persepsi baik terhadap pola pengasuhan orang tua memiliki dependensi yang lebih tinggi daripada mahasiswa yang memiliki persepsi tidak baik terhadap pola pengasuhan orang tua mereka. Kata kunci: dependensi, jenis kelamin, persepsi terhadap pola pengasuhan orang tua ABSTRACT This study was aimed to examine the difference of dependency among students of Faculty of Education State University of Surabaya based on sex and the perception toward parenting pattern. The second purpose of this study was to examine the effect of both sex and perception toward parenting pattern variables on students’ dependency. The data analysis technique used in this study was Two Path Analysis of Variance using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) 16.0 for Windows. The result shows that there is difference of dependency between female and male students. The dependency of female students is higher than that of male students. The difference of dependency also appears based on the difference perception of parenting patterns. Students with higher scores in perception toward parenting pattern have higher dependency than students with lower scores in perception toward parenting pattern. Furthermore, another result shows that the effect of both sex and perceptions toward parenting pattern variables does not have significant influence on the students’ dependency. Abstract

This study was conducted because of the importance of creativity as a key skill in 21st century learning. The hypothesis proposed is that project-based learning strategies can foster students' creativity effectively. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation during the learning process. The results of the study revealed that the application of project-based learning strategies that prioritize collaboration between students, exploration of innovative ideas, and active reflection on the learning process and products. These findings confirm that project-based learning is an effective and relevant approach to be developed in the world of education to prepare students to face future challenges
