Abstract

The implementation of this activity was carried out on Monday 9 November 2020 by Lecturers and students and assisted by the local community, starting with program discussions and taking a door approach. Before starting the socialization program,the licensing process was carried out in accordance with health protocols while simultaneously providing socialization about Cvid-19 in every house near the UGL Kutacane campus which was carried out door to door and distributing free masks to the public as a Covid-19 preventive effort. Socialization activities and distribution of masks to he community received positive appreciation from the community because the socialization was also carried out door to door by taking a direct approach to the community and this was very much needed in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kinerja siswa SMP Negeri 1 Ketambe dalam pembelajaran terbatas secara online dan tatap muka. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Ketambe pada bulan Januari sampai dengan Februari tahun 2023. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 1 Ketambe yang berjumlah 210 orang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa yang berjumlah 73 orang. 20% dari populasi yang dipilih secara acak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket, survei kinerja siswa dalam pembelajaran online dan tatap muka terbatas. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mendapatkan nilai frekuensi, persentase, mean dan standar deviasi yang digunakan untuk menentukan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran daring dan tatap muka terbatas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kinerja mahasiswa Institut Negeri Ketambe 1 dalam proses pembelajaran daring dan tatap muka terbatas berada pada level yang cukup baik.

Abstract

Community service with the topic Socialization of the Dangers of Smoking at Lawe Sumur State High School has been carried out and succeeded well. The participation of students in participating in this court activity was very enthusiastic because the attendance rate of participants reached 100% (130 students) according to the target. The results of this outreach activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge after participating in this activity by 14.62%. Keywords: socialization, danger, smoking, Kutacane

Abstract

The main problem faced by partners is that the teenagers of Pasir Gala Selamat Village, Lawe Bulan District, Southeast Aceh Regency, are not yet familiar with the game of petanque. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce the sport of petanque to the youth of Pasir Gala Selamat Village, Lawe Bulan District, Southeast Aceh Regency through integrated outreach. Participants in this training activity were 25 teenage participants, both boys and girls aged 10-14 years. Socialization activities will be held on 21-24 May 2024, 15.00 – 16.35 WIB. The stages in this activity are discussions with youth organizations and village officials, introduction to petanque games, practice and mentoring, petanque competitions and evaluation. The methods used are lectures, demonstrations, discussions and evaluations. Based on the results of the analysis of this activity, it can be concluded that the socialization was well received and could be a means for teenagers in the village of Pasir Gala Selamat, Lawe Bulan District, Southeast Aceh Regency to start practicing petanque.

Abstract

Community service is an important effort in strengthening the relationship between universities and the community. This article discusses the Community Service Program through the Community Service Lecture Program (KPM) of Gunung Leuser University in Darul Amin Village, Southeast Aceh Regency. The introduction of this article highlights the importance of community service in the context of higher education and society. The objective of this program is to improve the quality of life for the community through various activities that involve active participation from the community itself. The community service method employed is Participation Action Research (PAR), which involves active community participation in the research process and implementation of solutions. Through PAR steps such as joint problem identification, planning, action, and joint reflection, the community and students collaborate to identify the main issues in Darul Amin Village and design solutions that align with the community's needs and aspirations. The results of this program demonstrate significant improvements in community participation, strengthened local capacity, and sustainable problem-solving. The conclusion of this article emphasizes the importance of collaboration between universities and communities in enhancing collective well-being and highlights the success of the PAR approach in achieving community service objectives.
