Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam materi program linear di MA Darul Ulum. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan bentuk Pre-Eksperimental Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa setelah diterapkan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus N-Gain score juga membuktikan terjadi peningkatan sebesar 0,88 (88%). Hal tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan yang terjadi n-gain g > 0,7 yang berarti dalam kategori tinggi.   Kata kunci : Representasi Matematis, STAD Abstrak: The aim of this research is to know the influence of cooperative learning method, in this case STAD towards the student’s mathematical representation ability in linear program material in MA Darul Ulum. The method used was Experimental in form of Pre-Eksperimental Design. The sample used in this research were the students in Grade XI IPA B as an experiment class. Based on the data analysis, the researcher found out that STAD brings positive influence towards student’s mathematical representation ability. The increasing of mathematical  representation ability was counted by the use of N-Gain score formula which proved the increasing happened around 0,88 (88%). It shows the increasing that happened n-gain g> 0,7 which means in the high category. Key word : Mathematical Representation, STAD
