Abstract

Untuk mengurangi populasi kupu-kupu, perlu adanya strategi untuk memantau jumlah dan spesies yang ada pada masing-masing ekosistem. Peran teknologi dapat membantu dalam proses ini, misalnya pengembangan sistem e-Butterfly untuk mengumpulkan gambar spesies kupu-kupu dari berbagai wilayah sehingga dapat diketahui jenis spesies yang masih ada dan letak wilayah hidupnya. Identifikasi spesies kupu-kupu dapat dilakukan dan dibantu oleh komputer dengan serangkaian proses lebih spesifik pada cabang ilmu machine learning dan image processing. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kinerja (performance) dari model model arsitektur VGG16 dan MobileNetV2 untuk klasifikasi citra gambar kupu-kupu berdasarkan hasil ekstraksi fitur pada citra gambar tersebut. Dataset penelitian berisi 4955 gambar yang kemudian diberi label 50 butterfly species dengan ukuran 224 X 224 X 3. Akurasi terbaik diperoleh MobileNetV2 tanpa fine-tuning yaitu mencapai presentase 96%, dilanjutkan dengan VGG16 dengan fine-tuning, MobileNetV2 dengan fine-tuning, dan akurasi testing paling kecil diperoleh VGG16 tanpa fine-tuning. Untuk nilai precision, recall, F1-Score, dan Cohens Kappa lebih tinggi diperoleh model MobileNetV2 tanpa fine tuning, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa MobileNetV2 tanpa fine tuning lebih imbang dalam akurasi tiap kelasnya.

Abstract

Research on underwater image analysis is critical because of challenges such as color distortion, low contrast, and noise in images. Various methods have been proposed to overcome this problem. To improve the quality and classification of underwater photos, this study aims to ensure improved performance using Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) on underwater image datasets. The dataset consists of 500 JPG image with RGB channel and dimensions of 512 × 512 collected from online sources. There are classifications of sharks, eels, dolphins, sea rays, and whales in the underwater imagery dataset. The experiment was conducted using Python programming language on a computer that had 24GB RAM, Intel® Core™ i7-10510U CPU and hardware properties of Intel® HD Graphics graphics card. The results of this study show how CLAHE improved the CNN classification of underwater imagery by 0.91% in training data, 0.45% in validation data, and 2.02% in test data.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the performance of Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) technique for underwater image segmentation of seagrass objects based on datasets from autonomous surface vehicles (ASV from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Bogor Agricultural University. The dataset is 640 x 480 pixel image data to support image segmentation research. There are three categories of underwater imagery: (a) underwater imagery featuring seagrass and seawater backgrounds; (b) underwater imagery featuring seagrasses, clear fish, and seawater backgrounds; and (c) underwater imagery featuring seagrasses, faint fish, and seawater backgrounds. Based on the experimental results, seagrass objects in image type (a) have almost identical colors to each pixel in the underwater image, the GMM model was able to distinguish them from the background and seawater background. The GMM model can distinguish between the background and the seawater background in image type (b), but cannot eliminate fish objects in the image. The segmentation results in image type (c) are not perfect because the GMM model removes seagrass objects that have green pixel color.

Abstract

This research discusses the analysis and implementation of Mikrotik-based access points using hubs as a connection medium, with the PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize) methodology approach. PPDIOO was chosen because it is able to provide a systematic, efficient work structure, and can be evaluated in stages using success indicators (KPIs). Tests were conducted at the Operate and Optimize stages with a focus on throughput (Tx/Rx) metrics, average data transmission speed, and packet loss. The test results show a current Tx throughput value of 13.2 Gbps, a 10-second average of 12.9 Gbps, and a total average of 13.7 Gbps, with no packet loss (0 packet loss). Converting these results into percentages shows success above 90% across all indicators, with connection reliability reaching 100%. These findings prove that the PPDIOO method is effective in designing and managing a stable, efficient, and high-performance access point network.

Abstract

Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) has become an important infrastructure in supporting connectivity in various sectors, but its quality and reliability often experience problems. This study aims to analyze the performance of WLAN networks using two main approaches, namely Quality of Service (QoS) parameters which include throughput, jitter, and packet loss, and the Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) method. Tests were conducted before and after network improvements using analysis tools such as Wireshark and iPerf. The results showed that after the repair, throughput increased significantly from an unstable value to an average of 5-5.5 Mbps, jitter decreased consistently, and packet loss reduced from a maximum of 8% to below 2%. In addition, the network availability value increased along with a decrease in repair time (MTTR) and an increase in time between failures (MTBF). This study concludes that the combination of QoS and RMA evaluation provides a comprehensive overview of network performance and reliability, and is effective in supporting decision making for continuous improvement of network systems.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the usability and user acceptance of a web-based crystal ice distribution information system developed to support the operations of PT Eshokita Tubindo Mandiri. The system was developed using the Waterfall method with stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The system evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on 13 respondents who were directly involved in the distribution process. The test results showed a SUS score of 82.11, which is classified as very good, and all system functions were accepted by users based on the UAT results. However, the scope of testing was still limited to one company and a relatively small number of respondents. This study contributes to the evaluation of cold chain distribution information systems based on usability and user acceptance.

Abstract

Operational asset management plays a strategic role in ensuring the smooth and continuous operation of warehouse activities within a company. PT. Indomarco Prismatama faces challenges in managing assets, particularly in the processes of asset borrowing, return, and maintenance, which are still conducted manually. This results in potential delays in data recording, reduced data accuracy, and limited information transparency. This study aims to design a web-based information system for managing asset borrowing, return, and maintenance to improve efficiency and accuracy. The system was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology with a prototyping approach, which allows for user involvement through iterative stages. The system was built using the CodeIgniter 4 framework and a MySQL database. System testing was performed using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, involving 20 respondents, including Asset Admins, VUM Admins, and Managers. The evaluation results show an average SUS score of 81.9, indicating a high level of usability (Excellent). However, these results are limited to the current group of respondents and may not represent a broader user base. Overall, the developed system supports more effective, efficient, and transparent operational asset management, although further testing is needed to confirm its scalability and usability across a wider audience.

Abstract

Employee attendance and payroll systems play a crucial role in human resource management as they directly affect payroll accuracy, transparency, and employee satisfaction. However, many previous studies have primarily focused on system development and functional testing, with limited attention to comprehensive system success evaluation. This gap highlights the need for an evaluative approach that measures system quality, information quality, and the benefits perceived by users. This study aims to evaluate the success of an integrated web-based attendance and payroll information system using the DeLone and McLean Information System Success Model. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method, using a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to system users. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis and converted into percentage values. The results indicate that the system achieved a success rate of 92%, categorized as very good. These findings demonstrate that the system has high system quality and information quality and provides significant net benefits in improving administrative efficiency and payroll information transparency for employees.
