Abstract

Often people experience fatigue as a result of daily activities, but none of them took the initiative to restore their fitness through fitness message. The youth of Karang Taruna in Ngulankulon Village and Ngulanwetan Village, Pogalan District, Trenggalek Regency has strong potential to develop skills in the field of fitness message. The young people who are members of Karang Taruna members are dominated by people who are not economically productive. Most young people experience dependence on smartphones. Young people have not been able to use smartphones for positive activities. Therefore, empowerment is needed for youths of Ngulankulon Village and Ngulanwetan Village to develop communities that can be independent in the health sector, so that they can make a real contribution to the development of integrated fitness massage skills by applying science and technology towards positive things in community life. Empowerment is implemented in the form of Android-based fitness massage training. The method applied is Participatory Learning and Action (PLA). This method succeeded in increasing knowledge and fitness massage skills for trainees. The results of the pretest showed the participants' level of understanding was 66%, while after taking part in the training and mentoring, posttest was conducted with the result of an understanding level of 89%. The data shows an increase in fitness massage skills for youth youth.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate nutritional status and sedentary behavior in adolescents in Indonesia. Adolescence is a phase of growth and development that requires good nutrition. However, adolescents are faced with the risk of malnutrition or overnutrition, as well as micronutrient deficiency. In addition, the development of science and technology has a significant impact on adolescent behavior, with the use of sophisticated and instantaneous equipment that contributes to sedentary behavior. Lack of knowledge about nutritional value can also negatively impact adolescent health. Therefore, it is important to understand the sedentary behavior and nutritional status conditions of adolescents in this modern era. ThisĀ  study used descriptive quantitative methods with a population of 450 adolescents and a sample of 115 students. Data analysis was performed using Excel. The results showed that most adolescents in SMAN 4 Kediri City experienced sedentary behavior, with 103 adolescents (90%). And the measurement results showed that most adolescents had normal nutritional status, with 75 adolescents (66%) having an average body mass index (BMI) of 20.9

Abstract

Aktifitas olahraga kini jadi bagian tak terpisahkan bagi masyarakat. Disatu sisi, beragam pilihan aktifitas fisik yang ada, tak bisa dilepaskan dari resiko cidera. Jika hal tersebut terjadi, perawatan yang tepat menjadi kunci kesembuhan.Terhambatnya proses penyembuhan cedera karena olahraga, sering kali karena pasien atau atlet, menyepelekan teknik manipulasi massase/ pijat olahraga. Mereka menganggap itu hanya pijat biasa, atau ditangani oleh terapis yang kurang menguasai teknik pijat olahraga. Hal tersebut karena otot, bisa diraba dan dirasakan tingkat kekenyalan, hingga tingkat fleksibilitas efek cedera berupa panas, bengkak,merah dan rasa nyeri. Sebenarnya di masyarakat masih banyak yang menggunakan tenaga tradisional. Namun hal itu berbeda, jika akan masuk ke cabor atau institusi olahraga karena diperlukan tenaga ahli yang berlisensi profesional. Secara khusus massase olahraga bermanfaat bagi olahragawan sebelum bertanding. Karena itu masseur harus memiliki pengetahuan tentang massase olahraga dan dapat memilih manipulasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan gerak atlet. Perkembangan ilmu anatomi dan fisiologi menjadi dasar tersusunnya terapi pijat/massase yang dilaksanakan secara ilmiah dan dapat diajarkan dan dilaksanakan secara universal. Anatomi dan fisiologi adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang struktur tubuh dan bagian-bagiannya serta hubungannya antar bagian tubuh sangat erat kaitannya dengan perawatan badan. Manusia mulai mengetahui dengan lebih dekat mengapa terjadi kekejangan otot, terjadi kekauan sendi, timbul sakit di pinggang, dan terapi pijat yang disusun secara ilmiah mampu menanggulangi berbagai gejala tersebut. Seorang terapis spa perlu dapat mengidentifikasi otot dan bagian-bagian tubuh yang berotot. Hal ini akan menjamin agar dapat memijat dan merawat tubuh dengan aman. Ini penting dilakukan, sebab jika kemampuan dalam melakukan massase tubuh dengan teknik yang tidak tepat, dikawatirkan dapat mengakibatkan salah pijat sehingga tubuh mengalami cidera, salah otot dan dapat berdampak buruk baik jangka panjang dan pendek pada tubu. Terdapat beberapa factor yang mempengaruhi pemulihan bagi seorang atlet pasca cedera. Selain factor usia dan pengalam, keterlibatan otot, sumber energi yang terlibat, psikologi, fisiologi dan gizi. Dominasi otot merah dan otot putih yang juga berhubungan dengan domunasi system energi memberikan kontribusi pada system pemulihan. Oleh karena itu pentingnya seorang masseur untuk memahami ilmu anatomi dan fisiologi untuk menunjang proses penanganan cedera pada atlet.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether the play approach can increase students' learning motivation In Physical Education (PE) learning, many students lack enthusiasm in participating in learning because learning is boring and uninteresting. The play method may be very effective because elementary school students aged 9-12 years old usually love to play. Children are generally more interested in fun activities, such as playing. These activities not only attract their attention, but also help in cognitive and social development. Additionally, playing can be an important means of learning to overcome challenges and interact with peers. By giving them the opportunity to play, we support their learning process in a playful atmosphere. This can encourage them to exercise and stay healthy and fit. PTK is carried out in 2 cycles with two meetings that discuss the topic of physical fitness. To evaluate students' perspectives on the learning carried out, data was collected through observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Research shows that the play method can greatly increase students' motivation to learn PE in grade III of SDN Bawang Kota Kediri.

Abstract

Berdasarkan tujuan penelitian untuk menerapkan permainan tradisional dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan guna meningkatkan keterampilan gerak lokomotor siswa kelas IV di SDN Bawang I, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini melibatkan 23 peserta didik kelas IV, yang terdiri dari 13 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswi perempuan. Instrument menggunakan tes kemampuan motorik dengan aspek keseimbangan, kelincahan dan kecepatan. Data diperoleh dan di analisis dengan deskriptif dengan presentase. Hasil penelitian pada Siklus I menunjukkan rata-rata nilai akhir sebesar 45,76%, sementara pada Siklus II, rata-rata nilai akhir meningkat menjadi 89,66%. Peningkatan ini tercermin dalam hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan pada aspek keseimbangan, kelincahan, dan kecepatan. Dengan begitu dapat terlihat adanya sebuah peningkatan pada setiap aspek berdasarkan konsep kriteria ketuntasan dan dapat disimpulan terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan motorik pada peserta didik kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Bawang I melalui pendekatan permainan tradisional Gobak Sodor.

Abstract

Students learning motivation in learning PJOK often experiences obstacles, especially in physical fitness material. The problem is caused by learning methods that are less innovative and varied. This study aims to increase motivation to learn physical fitness through a relay game approach. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with the Kurt Lewin model, which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and questionnaires to assess students' responses to learning. The results showed a significant increase in students' learning motivation after the implementation of the relay game. In the first cycle, an average of 50.72% of students showed a positive response to PJOK learning, and in the second cycle it increased to 69.28%. From this study it can be concluded that relay games can be an effective learning method in increasing students' physical fitness learning motivation. The game-based approach is proven to be able to increase student involvement and create a more fun and interactive learning atmosphere. Therefore, teachers are advised to continue developing innovative learning methods to improve the quality of physical education.

Abstract

Students' learning motivation in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) often faces obstacles due to monotonous and less varied teaching methods. This study aims to enhance students' learning motivation through the small games approach during the warm-up session before learning activities. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis & McTaggart model, involving 27 sixth-grade students from SDN Bawang 1 Kota Kediri. This study was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results show that the small games approach during warm-ups effectively increases students' motivation. In the first cycle, 48.1% of students strongly agreed with the warm-up game method, and this figure increased to 62.9% in the second cycle. Additionally, the average learning motivation score improved from 2.33 to 2.59. This improvement indicates that using small games enhances student engagement, readiness, and enthusiasm in PJOK learning. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that implementing small games in warm- ups positively impacts students' learning motivation. This method helps create a more enjoyable, interactive, and engaging learning environment, encouraging students to be more active in class. Therefore, this approach is recommended as an innovative teaching strategy for PJOK teachers to improve the effectiveness of learning in elementary schools.
