Abstract

Background: Lack of public knowledge is the cause of the large number of victims when there is a disaster that hits several areas, especially in Indonesia itself and is less aware of disaster management and the lack of community preparedness in anticipating the disaster so that the most casualties are children and their communities. Purpose: To know the effectiveness of disaster education on population preparedness in earthquake-prone areas.Method: Literature review, the data search used electronic data sources, namely Google Scholar, PubMed, and Ebsco, and the findings from there were 7 articles.Results: The effect of earthquake disaster education related to the preparedness of the population in earthquake-prone areas, to prepare for disaster preparedness, especially for women, can be done with the Health Belief Model (HBM) Education.Conclusion: The vulnerable groups with disasters, especially earthquakes themselves, to prepare preparedness for school children can be seen from their age and education.Keywords: Disaster preparedness; Earthquake; Education; Disaster-prone regionPendahuluan: Kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat menjadi penyebab banyaknya korban Ketika ada bencana yang melanda beberapa wilayah khususnya di Indonesia sendiri dan kurang mengathui tentang manajemen bencana dan kurangnya kesiapsiagaan masyarakat dalam mengantisipasi bencana tersebut sehingga korban jiwa paling banyak anak-anak dan masyarakatnya. Tujuan: Mendapatkan gambaran umum mengenai efektifitas pendidikan kebencanaan tentang kesiapsiagaan penduduk di daerah rawan gempa.Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan literature review ini adalah narrative review.  Pencarian data menggunakan sumber data elektronik yaitu Google Scholar, PubMed dan Ebsco, kemudian ditemukan dari pencarian itu ada 7 jurnal.Hasil: Pengaruh pendidikan kebencanaan gempa bumi terkait kesiapsiagaan penduduk di daerah rawan gempa, untuk mempersiapkan kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana khususnya pada Wanita bisa dilakukan dengan Pendidikan Health Belief Model ( HBM ).Simpulan: Kelompok rentan dengan bencana khusunya gempa bumi sendiri untuk mempersiapkan kesiapsiagaan pada anak sekolah yang bisa dilihat dari usia dan pendidikannya.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional health problem in toddlers. However, stunting can be prevented, one of which is by maintaining maternal health during pregnancy, namely diet and nutritional intake. Therefore, pregnant women are expected to be able to control their diet. This study aims to provide an overview of diet in pregnant women as a prevention of stunting events. This study used the scoping review method. The databases used are EBSCOhost and PubMed with a search for relevant studies published from 2017-2022. The inclusion criteria for selected articles are English-language articles, fulltext articles. Excluded articles are articles that use meta-analysis and systematic review methods. The results obtained were 8 articles, of which seven articles showed the type and healthy diet of the significance of increasing birth weight which is an indicator of growth and incidence of stunting. In detail, the type and healthy diet in pregnant women is to increase food intake by 15% than usual with the consumption of the main food 3x a day plus 2x interludes/snacks consisting of more than 5 types of food (MDD-W) with more than 4 servings/week in each type, so that the nutrition of pregnant women remains fulfilled, accompanied by multivitamin supplementation (vitamin B-1 (thiamin), B-2 (riboflavin),  B-6, niacin, B-12, C, and E), calcium, folic acid and IFA tablets. The conclusion obtained is that the type and healthy diet in pregnant women produces a significant good effect on birth weight in preventing stunting. As well as demographic factors affecting the diet in pregnant women.
