Abstract

Revised Trauma Score (RTS) is an assessment of the human physiological system as a whole. The use of the RTS method in the IGD Harapan Insan Sendawar Hospital has not been optimally implemented. This study aims to determine the relationship between RTS and head injury mortality. The type of research used is quantitative research, using a correlation analytic design with a cross sectional approach to 30 respondents. Sampling by nonprobability sampling with total sampling technique. Data collection using the RTS observation sheet. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately by using the chi square test and followed by an alternative fisher's exact test. Obtained variable value ρ value = 0.000 which is smaller than the value of α = 0.05 Then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so there is a relationship between Revised Trauma Score and head injury mortality. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between Revised Trauma Score (RTS) and head injury mortality. It is suggested that the Hospital is able to improve the application of the Revised Trauma Score (RTS) assessment.

The aim of the study was to see changes in patient attitudes before and after providing nutrition education using flipcharts and leaflets. Quantitative research design with quasi-experimental methods, research design matching pretest-posttest control group design. The study was conducted at the IA Moeis Hospital with a sample of 36 hospitalized patients. The research instruments used were attitude questionnaires, flipcharts and leaflets. The results of this study showed that after providing education using flipcharts and leaflets, the patient's attitude was in the good category, 18 people (100%). The results of the average value of the media, providing education using leaflet media is more effective than leaflet media.

Abstract

The prevalence of anemia in Indonesia among women of childbearing age in 2018 was 28.7%. Less protein intake will inhibit the formation of hemoglobin levels. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between protein intake and hemoglobin levels in inpatients of women of childbearing age. The population is 87 and the sample is 38 subjects. Samples were taken by purposive sampling using inclusion and exclusion criteria. The statistical test uses the Spearman test. The results show that protein intake and hemoglobin levels have a value of r = 0.81+, p = 0.00 meaning that there is a significant relationship between protein intake and hemoglobin levels with a very strong relationship strength. Inpatients, especially women of childbearing age, are expected to increase protein intake according with the need for both animal and plant origin to maintain normal hemoglobin levels.
