Abstract

Pulley is a receiver or converter of rotary power and moment of force associated with each other using a v-belt, while the transmission is a mechanism to convert power from input power to produce variable output power. Torque and RPM are affected by gear ratio or pulley size. The size of pulley on the input shaft also greatly influences torque and RPM. Where necessary to do a trial-driven pulley size. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the effect of driven pulley size on the output rotational speed and final torque of driven pulley size used. This research uses 3 kinds of driven pulley sizes. Driven pulley 1 (150 mm), the highest torque is 1013.23 Nm and the highest output rotational speed is 1339.5 rpm. In driven pulley 2 (200 mm), the highest torque is 1350.97 Nm and the highest output rotational speed is 1004.62 rpm. While driven pulley 3 (250 mm), the highest torque is 1688.74 Nm, and the highest output rotational speed is 803.7 rpm. In the ANOVA test results, there were no significant differences between the three of pulley diameter variation, indicated by the Sig. 0.395 for output rotational speed and Sig. 0.491 for final torque.

Abstract

Pada era revolusi industri 4.0, persaingan di dunia kerja sangatlah ketat dimana semua pekerjaan membutuhkan kemampuan dan keterampilan. Oleh karena itu, perlunya pelatihan yang dapat memberikan bekal kemampuan dan keterampilan untuk bekerja sehingga dapat bersaing dan mampu berdikari dengan menjadi seorang wirausahawan. Tujuan diadakannya pelatihan servis sepeda motor adalah untuk memberikan ilmu, pengalaman, dan kemampuan di bidang otomotif agar pemuda Desa Wonosalam dapat bersaing di dunia kerja dan diharapkan mampu membuka usaha sendiri. Pada program pelatihan yang telah diberikan terdiri atas teori dan praktik. Untuk teori, yang pertama dilakukan adalah memberikan pre-test kepada peserta pelatihan. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengukur atau mengetahui pengetahuan awal peserta pelatihan sebelum diberikan materi. Selanjutnya, peserta pelatihan diberikan modul dan diberikan pemaparan oleh pemateri tentang servis sepeda motor dengan topik sistim bahan bakar sepeda motor menggunakan karburator. Setelah diberikan teori, peserta pelatihan melakukan praktik mulai dari pembongkaran, analisis komponen, pembersihan komponen, perakitan kembali komponen dan penyetelan karburator. Setelah selesai praktik, peserta diberikan post-test. Post-test bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan akhir dan pemahaman peserta pelatihan setelah mendapatkan pelatihan. Hasil yang didapatkan dari pelatihan adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta dalam servis sepeda motor dengan topik sistim bahan bakar sepeda motor menggunakan karburator.

Abstract

Fluid is a substance that is capable of flowing. The types of fluids that are often used in everyday life are liquid fluids and gas fluids. To drain the fluid you need a laundry device called a pump. The working principle of the pump is to provide pressure or energy to the fluid. This type of research is experimental research, namely, researchers carry out experiments to obtain data in the form of numbers or quantitative data. Researchers varied the valve openings from 0o, 25o, 45o, and 65o and used a pump rotation of 1600 RPM. This research plan is to determine the effect of valve opening on pump capacity and efficiency. The research results show that the pump capacity and efficiency results at valve openings from 0o to 65o have increased significantly. The greatest capacity and efficiency occur at 65o valve openings with a value of 6 L/M and 43.2%.
