Abstract

ABSTRACTThe implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) is a huge burden for the actors of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The challenge that is felt by MSMEs is the way to increase knowledge in the use of ICTs in order to compete with other countries' products. Surabaya has a lot of MSMEs that still need to be enhanced in the utilization of ICT, some of which are MSMEs in the Putat Jaya Surabaya Village. In an effort to improve the ability of ICT experts, MSMEs in Dolly Localization exams, especially RW III Putat Jaya, need training and assistance. In addition, it is expected that this community service activity can improve knowledge and skills for MSMEs as an effort to increase human resources in Dolly's former Localization. Keywords : SMEs, Information and communication technology (ICT) DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/jgp.v7i02.1834

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe micro, small and medium enterprise (MSMEs) sector has a very important role in generating the economy in the region. East Java is no exception. The contribution of MSMEs in improving the economy of East Java province is the largest compared to other sectors. East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa at the Briliant Preneur 2021 event that the contribution of MSMEs to gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in East Java even reached 57.25 percent. So that the MSME market can be wider overseas, then export training for MSME actors in East Java needs to be held. The activity "Workshop on MSME Export Opportunities Through Digital Markets" was carried out to facilitate MSMEs players in exporting their products. This activity, attended by approximately 50 representatives of MSMEs in East Java, consisted of 3 stages of activity, the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation monitoring stage. The committee carried out internal coordination at the preparation stage and provided a sheet filled with business data for MSME actors. The workshop was conducted in two (2) sessions at the implementation stage. The first session was the provision of material related to the use of the digital market to export East Java MSME products. In the second session, the participants could immediately practice the provided material and report the results. Monitoring and evaluation of implementation are carried out by filling out activity evaluation sheets, both those carried out by resource persons on the implementation of the event and MSME actors on the implementation of the event. All workshop participants were able to follow well. However, there were several obstacles during the practice session, such as using foreign languages to create e-commerce website accounts and making product descriptions. Keywords: exports; digital market; MSMEs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out Thailand's implementation of IMT-GT subregional cooperation in increasing tourism in the 2017-2021 period. The cooperation between the three countries, known as the Growth Triangle, is a transnational economic zone intertwined with adjacent geographical areas. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with the scope of this research starting from 2017 to 2021, according to the time period of the IMT-GT Implementation Blueprint. This research is descriptive in nature and is of a qualitative type using literature study data collection techniques or collecting data appropriate to the research topic, such as online journals, online reports, such as the official Thai tourism website, the official IMT-GT website, ASEAN, global media news, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that based on the regional strategic plan focusing on the tourism sector in the implementation of the IMT-GT blueprint, Thailand's policy implementation is divided into two focuses, namely building infrastructure consisting of building tourist attractions and building transportation facilities which aim to increase connectivity between IMT-GT sub-regions, as well as the Thai government's tourism promotion or marketing to increase international tourist arrivals, both globally, and from IMT-GT countries.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the bilateral cooperation efforts that the Indonesian government has carried out to improve the quality of human resources in the country to realize the vision of becoming the world's maritime axis. The Indonesian government recognizes that the country's waters have diverse maritime potential and are essential for world trade routes. If appropriately utilized, Indonesia's territorial waters can become a strategic point for many countries. President Joko Widodo's desire to make Indonesia the world's maritime axis is driven by the realization that Indonesia needs help to achieve this vision because it still has limitations in managing and developing its maritime sector. Therefore, the Indonesian government needs support from other countries, including China, to establish bilateral cooperation. This research is descriptive and uses a qualitative approach. The techniques used in data collection are interviews and data collection from various written sources, such as documents, journals, scientific articles, books, newspapers, reports, and others. The results of this study show that bilateral cooperation carried out by the Indonesian government is bearing fruit because China is also willing to support Indonesia to achieve this vision of the world's maritime axis.
