Abstract

Abstract This paper discusses the contextualization of the purpose of marriage contained in the letter Ar-Rum verse 21. It starts by examining the text of the verse using the lughowiyah rules, then the internal context of the verse, the interpretation of the verse according to the Salaf and Khalaf scholars, which then analyzes the understanding of the letter ar-rum: 21 in the current context. This is done to seek a complete understanding of the purpose of marriage in the present context. This paper is included in library research using the descriptive-qualitative method using the contextual interpretation analysis method. This paper shows that the purpose of marriage contained in the letter Ar-Rum verse 21 is not just a reproductive function, but has a wider scope, such as economic improvement, intellectual-moral improvement, and activation of protection. Keyword: Purpose of Marriage, Contextual, Ar-Rum: 21 Abstrak Tulisan ini membahas mengenai kontekstualisasi tujuan pernikahan yang terdapat dalam surat ar-Rum ayat 21. Dimulai dengan menelaah teks ayat tersebut dengan menggunakan kaidah lughowiyah, kemudian konteks internal ayat, tafsir ayat menurut ulama salaf dan kholaf, yang kemudian analisis pemahaman surat ar-rum: 21 dalam konteks saat ini. Hal ini dilakukan untuk untuk mencari pemahaman secara utuh mengenai tujuan pernikahan pada konteks kekinian. Tulisan ini termasuk dalam kajian kepustakaan (library research) dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis tafsir kontekstual. Tulisan ini menunjukan tujuan pernikahan yang terdapat pada surat ar-Rum ayat 21 bukan sekedar sebagai fungsi reproduksi saja, melainkan cakupanya lebih luas, seperti halnya peningkatan ekonomi, peningkatan intelektual-moral, dan aktivasi perlindungan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menguji teori kausalitas eksistensial keluarga melalui lensa Maqāṣid al-sharīʿah dengan metode studi kepustakaan dan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa teori ini menjelaskan bagaimana pengalaman dalam keluarga membentuk identitas, pandangan, dan keputusan hidup individu melalui “Interdependensi Kausal,” di mana setiap anggota saling memengaruhi. Konsep “Eksistensialitas Diri dan Keluarga” menunjukkan identitas terbentuk dari interaksi dan narasi bersama dalam keluarga, sementara “Dinamika Peran Berkelanjutan” dan “Resonansi Emosional dan Moral” memotivasi keputusan dalam keluarga. Teori ini juga mengakui “pengaruh generasional” dalam mewariskan nilai dan perilaku. Pengujian berdasarkan Maqāṣid al-sharīʿah memberikan perspektif holistik tentang peran keluarga dalam masyarakat Islam dan bagaimana prinsip syariah dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga. Dalam konteks anak perempuan yang hamil di luar nikah sebagai salah satu contoh pengoperasionalan teori kausalitas eksistensial keluarga, teori ini menunjukkan bahwa peristiwa tersebut mempengaruhi dinamika keluarga secara signifikan, mengguncang atau mereformasi identitas keluarga, dan mempengaruhi keputusan serta nilai-nilai yang diwariskan ke generasi berikutnya. Teori ini relevan dalam memahami tantangan keluarga modern dan memberikan panduan praktis bagi keluarga Muslim dalam menghadapi dinamika zaman. Implementasi teori ini diharapkan berkontribusi pada pengembangan teori hukum keluarga dan kesejahteraan masyarakat luas.

Abstract

In the current era, patriarchal culture is able to adapt to social changes in modern society that cannot be separated from the digital space. This indicates that there is a transformation of a patriarchal culture that is publicly patriarchal in social practice. Then, whether we realize it or not, these conditions have contributed to the increase in cases of Electronic Based Sexual Violence (EBSV). This research will focus on two important things, namely uncovering the causes of the strong patriarchal culture in the digital space and analyzing the patriarchal habitus of EBSV actors. This field research takes place at WCC Dian Mutiara Malang City using a sociological approach and then analyzed with Pierre Bourdieu's habitus theory. The findings of this study indicate that there are three factors that cause strong patriarchy in EBSV actors. First, there is the transformation and crystallization of patriarchal culture in the digital space that it creates public patriarchy in modern society. Second, the current state system. Third, the performance of law enforcement officials in handling EBSV cases is not optimal. In Pierre Bourdieu's review, the patriarchal habitus of EBSV perpetrators is influenced by patriarchal values that develop in community social practices, the perpetrator's perception of the practice, and the appreciation of the perpetrator shown by carrying out EBSV against the victim.

Abstract

This empirical-ethnographic research delves into the burgeoning landscape of social media discussions, particularly focusing on the YouTube channel @FaqihAbdulKodir. Amidst the plethora of content, this channel stands out for its unique exploration of ḥadīth through the lens of qirā’ah mubādalah, attracting a substantial audience and gaining recognition among academics and gender activists. Employing reception theory analysis, this study seeks to synthesize insights from @FaqihAbdulKodir’s exploration of ḥadīth concerning livelihood. The research sheds light on the reception of the prophet’s teachings, unraveling the intricate process of knowledge transmission. The findings reveal a spectrum of internalisations, rooted in the understanding of reciprocity. The research concludes with three distinct types of reception. First, an exegesis reception manifests as a trending interpretation style of living ḥadīth. Second, an aesthetic reception highlights the beauty of Islamic teachings, fostering equality before God, particularly in matters of livelihood. Third, a functional reception emerges, emphasizing mutuality in family income as a cornerstone for household harmony. This study not only contributes to the academic discourse on ḥadīth but also offers insights into the multifaceted impacts of @FaqihAbdulKodir’s channel on individuals’ perceptions and practices in their daily lives.
