Abstract

This study is based on the importance of human resources in supporting the achievement of organizational goals, where employee performance is influenced by effective leadership and a conducive work environment. The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of leadership style and work environment on employee performance at PT Lentera Bahari Putra Mas. This study employs a quantitative research method. The population and sample consist of 45 employees, therefore the sampling technique used is saturated sampling. Data analysis was conducted using data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, f-test, and coefficient of determination with the assistance of SPSS version 27. The results indicate that leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 3.717 and a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, contributing 63.5%. The work environment also has a significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 4.399 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, contributing 66.58% and acting as the dominant variable. Simultaneously, leadership style and work environment have a significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by an F-value of 63.022 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination value of 0.750 indicates that both variables explain 75% of the variation in employee performance. This conclusion confirms that employee performance improvement is influenced by appropriate leadership and a supportive work environment.

Abstract

The development of the manufacturing and Packaging industry in Indonesia requires companies not only to focus on achieving operational targets, but also to pay attention to employee well-being as a factor supporting sustainable organizational performance. Employee job satisfaction is an important indicator in human resource management because it affects motivation and work productivity. This study aims to examine the effect of work-life balance and work environment on employee job satisfaction at Labelbox Packaging Indonesia. This research employs a quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 40 employees of Labelbox Packaging Indonesia. The research instruments were tested using validity and reliability tests and met the classical assumption tests. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 27. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the t-test and F-test. The results indicate that partially, work-life balance does not have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction, while the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Simultaneously, work-life balance and work environment have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.564 shows that 56.4% of the variation in employee job satisfaction can be explained by these variables, while the remainder is influenced by other factors outside the research model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan permasalahan rendahnya tingkat kepuasan kerja karyawan Divisi HRGAL PT. CGS Indonesia yang diduga disebabkan oleh sistem remunerasi yang kurang optimal serta beban kerja yang cukup tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh remunerasi dan beban kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan Divisi HRGAL yang berjumlah 50 orang. Mengingat keterbatasan populasi, maka teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 22. Analisis data meliputi uji asumsi klasik, uji t (untuk pengujian parsial), uji F (untuk pengujian simultan), dan uji koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) remunerasi berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja secara parsial; (2) beban kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap kepuasan kerja; (3) secara simultan remunerasi dan beban kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja; dan (4) kontribusi kedua variabel tersebut terhadap kepuasan kerja sebesar 58,9%. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan diharapkan dapat memperbaiki sistem remunerasi agar lebih adil dan proporsional serta mengelola beban kerja secara lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan kepuasan dan kinerja karyawan, khususnya pada Divisi HRGAL
