Abstract

Beton sangat sering digunakan dalam bidang konstruksi. Ketahanan panas pada konstruksi beton sangat penting sebagai ketahanan struktur bangunan terhadap kebakaran. Salah satu cara untuk mengamati ketahanan panas pada konstruksi beton adalah dengan analisis numerik. Skema beda hingga merupakan salah satu metode numerik terbaik yang dapat digunakan untuk analisis penyebaran panas guna mengetahui ketahanan panas suatu bahan. Skema beda hingga pada metode Crank-Nicolson memberikan solusi numerik dengan tingkat ketelitian yang sangat baik.AbstractConcrete is used extensively in the building industry. The heat resistance of concrete construction is very important as the structure of a building against fire. One way to observe concrete construction’s heat resistance is by numerical analysis. Finite difference schemes are one of the best numerical methods that can be used to evaluate heat dispersion of material’s heat resistance. Finite difference schemes with Crank-Nicolson method provides an excellent level of accuracy.

Abstract

Permasalahan terapan (mekanik, sipil, kimia ataupun listrik), sangat berkaitan dengan penggunaan material, misalnya tembaga. Material tembaga memiliki konduktivitas listrik dan panas yang baik. Distribusi panas kawat tembaga dapat diketahui dengan melakukan analisis numerik pada persamaan konduksi panas dengan arus listrik sebagai sumber panas. Analisis numerik dilakukan dengan skema beda hingga pusat yang diterapkan pada metode Crank-Nicolson. Suhu maksimum kawat tembaga meningkat, tetapi perubahan suhu menurun dengan rata-rata 3,55% disetiap level waktu yaitu 15 menit. Prediksi suhu maksimum kawat tembaga selama 24 jam sesuai pendekatan fungsi logaritma f(x) = 1,9023 lnx + 20,176.AbstractThe applicable problems (mechanical, legal, chemical or electrical) are closely linked to the use of materials such as copper. Copper material has excellent electrical and thermal conductivity. It is possible to determine the heat distribution of copper wire by conducting numerical analysis on the heat conduction equation with electric current as a heat source. Numerical research was performed with a central differencing scheme applied to the Crank-Nicolson method. The maximum temperature of copper wire increased, but the heat change decreased by an average of 3.55% at each time level, namely 15 minutes. Predict the maximum temperature of copper wire for 24 hours according to the approximate logarithmic function f (x) = 1.9023 lnx + 20.176.
