Abstract

This study examines the self-efficacy and career choices of students in Class XII, SMAN 1 Tilatang Kamang. The results of the fieldwork indicated that many students were still hesitant to make a professional decision after leaving school. Students who were reluctant to make career decisions meant those students had lower self-efficacy. The purpose of this study was to determine students' self-efficacy and career decision-making. The type of study was a related quantitative study using the Self-Efficacy Scale and the Career Decision Scale. The study was conducted with 30 students. The self-efficacy scale, on the other hand, had a reliability of 0.932 in making career decisions, with 46 valid items out of 84 tested. The results of the study of 65 students from the analysis test conducted by SPSS for Windows 20.0 showed that there was no association between self-efficacy and career choice, and the correlation coefficient value was -0.189, which was negative. It can be concluded that there is no relationship between self-efficacy and career decision-making in students, with a very low level of closeness. The level of career decision-making has a high level of 64 students or 98.46% and the level of self-efficacy in choosing a study program is 34 or 52.31%.

Abstract

Remaja yang kuat sikap resiliennya, mampu bertahan menghadapi tekanan kemudian bangkit dan berani mengambil langkah mengatasi keterpurukan yang dirasakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh tadabbur Al-Qur’an dalam meningkatkan resiliensi anggota ta’lim Qur’an remaja Mesjid Raya Pasar Muara Labuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode true eksperimental dengan desain eksperimen ulang acak. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 17 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan Skala Resiliensi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis paired sample t-test dan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini antara lain: (1) Hasil pretest menunjukkan resiliensi subjek pada kategori rendah untuk kelompok eksperimen dan kategori tinggi untuk kelompok kontrol, (2) Hasil posttest menunjukkan resiliensi subjek pada kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan dari rendah menjadi tinggi, sementara pada kelompok kontrol tidak menunjukkan adanya peningkatan secara signifikan, namun ada yang mengalami penurunan sikap resiliensi menjadi rendah, (3) Pengaruh pemberian perlakuan berupa tadabbur Qur’an menunjukkan adanya perbedaan antara skor pretest dan posttest pada kelompok eksperimen yaitu terjadinya peningkatan sikap resiliensi sebesar 29,24%. Sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan yang signifikan, namun terjadi penurunan pada beberapa anggota kelompok kontrol sebesar 9,27%.

Abstract

Starting with online learning requires a lot of attention such as focus, comfortable sitting, and avoiding distractions such as noise. A noise questionnaire instrument is an evaluation tool designed to identify the experience of students in the online learning process. This instrument was developed based on a literature review on noise and online learning. The instrument first stage was given to 110 students and the instrument second stage was given to 460 students in seven universities in Indonesia, 99 male and 361 female respondents aged 18-30 years. The instrument was designed based on DeVito’s noise theory: physical noise, physiological noise, psychological noise, and semantic noise. The statistical test of the instrument used confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) to find the goodness of fit index model. The results of the noise instrument factor analysis show a fit model, acceptable validity, and high internal consistency (α=0.86). The findings of this study produce valid and reliable instruments for identifying noise indicators that are dominant in online learning activities. The results of identifying noise in online learning can be used to design guidance and counseling programs or plan actions to deal with noise in online learning according to the data obtained.
