Abstract

This study investigates the determinant factors of technology adoption by connecting Technology Organizational Environment (TOE) with the dynamic capability factors. Using 518 respondents representing 222 business units of Indonesia’s electricity company, the study found that only the absorptive capability has a positively significant effect on technology adoption. Practically, the study emphasizes that without the absorptive capability for managing the resource, the core competence of a firm will not occur and the adoption of technology will be less effective. Another finding is the absorptive capability’s typology mapping the eight technology adoption statuses in an organization, based on three of the determinant factors: the externalities, entrepreneurial leadership and slack resources.

Abstract

Condensate water is the main ingredient in the process of generating steam in the power plant condensate water uap. Therefore must have a good quality so it does not cause damage to the equipment - equipment such as pipes, tubes, valves and others. To produce water quality condensate desirable it is necessary chemicals include phosphate, ammonia and chemical hydrasin. Material is injected into some equipment such as deaerator, steam drums and others. On this occasion the discussion is about the injection of chemicals phospat. Material the chemicals injected into the water condensate (feed water) which will be precisely in the boiler to the steam injection process takes drum. For pump chemicals from the tank in order to get to the steam drum. Therefore the pump and the output pipe leading the steam drum to be reliable so it does not interfere with the injection process resulting in the boiler water quality does not match the prescribed standards that disrupts the production of listrik.Namun on the way there has been a disruption especially at pipe outlet (discharge line) to the steam drum is clogged (plugging) .This occurs because after the injection process there are still remaining - the rest of phosphate in the pump, pipe valve outlet and then dries and crystallizes as kapur.This happens especially when the power is turned off for a long time (over houl). From the above problems it is necessary to add the channel for flushing (flushing) on ​​the pump and the discharge channel leading to the steam drum, especially when the power will be off for a long time so there is no plugging in the pipe leading to the pump outlet steam line drum. The addition of the plumbing connected condensate (from discharge CEP) to the pump inlet pipe phosphate.

Abstract

Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) is an effective mass- transportation mode that has been proven by many in major cities in different countries. This will be applied in Indonesia but still limited to Jakarta which will be managed by PT. Mass Rapid Transit Jakarta (MRTJ). The MRTJ is targeted to carry 173,000 people a day. The purpose of this MRTJ development is to reduce the use of private transportation and switch to public transportation so as to reduce traffic congestion. Electricity as a source of this transportation means must be guaranteed reliability. Proper configuration, reliable equipment and automated system operation will provide a good distribution system performance. With the smooth progress of electric power to consumers, the more reliable a distribution system. With the prediction of 99.5% to 99.9999% availability of electricity supply is expected to ensure the reliability of the MRTJ power supply system.

Abstract

Saat ini masih banyak daerah di Indonesia yang belum teraliri listrik terutama tempat-tempat terpencil atau daerah pelosok. Hal ini dikarenakan kondisi geografinya dan demografinya yang tersebar tidak merata dalam satu wilayah. Kampung Gadog merupakan salah satu wilayah di Desa Sukamahi, Kab. Cianjur yang terletak di perbukitan. Dengan medan yang sulit dan lokasi yang cukup jauh dari pusat kota, menyebabkan akses jaringan listrik di wilayah tersebut masih sangat minim. Terbatasnya daya listrik yang terhubung, ditambah dengan seringnya listrik padam saat musim hujan dan minimnya penerangan di area publik menyebabkan kampung Gadog menjadi sulit untuk berkembang. Akibatnya perekonomian di wilayah tersebut pun menjadi sulit tumbuh. Untuk mengatasi masalah kelistrikan di daerah dengan konidisi tersebut, adalah dengan memanfaatkan konsep Portable power sebagai sumber energi listrik. Portable power merupakan salah satu solusi dimana energi listrik bisa disimpan dalam sebuah media penyimpanan energi (baterai) untuk selanjutnya dipakai untuk mengoperasikan peralatan elektronik dalam hal ini di utamakan sebagai sumber penerangan. Dengan demikian, kebutuhan listrik tidak lagi tergantung pada sistem jaringan listrik PLN. Selain itu dibangun pula Sentral Pengisian Daya berbasis tenaga surya sehingga warga bisa mengisi ulang daya Portable powernya- sehingga masyarakat tidak tergantung pada aliran listrik PLN untuk mengisi daya Portable power.

Abstract

Continuity of power transmission is important to ensure the reliability of the electricity supply. As most system faults are temporary, the auto reclose (AR) scheme has been used extensively to minimise the outage duration, prevent widespread outages, thus increase system stability. Meanwhile, the hybrid transmission line (HTL) combining overhead line (OHL) and high voltage cable has been introduced to provide an inexpensive solution for an urban power grid. Protecting HTL with a conventional protection system would forbid the operation of the AR scheme due to difficulty to ensure whether the fault occurred on the OHL or cable section. Therefore, the circulating current protection (CCP) scheme is used in the cable section to ensure the fault location and block the AR scheme. The technology of an optical current transformer (OCT) as one of the non-conventional instrument transformers (NCIT) has emerged to provide a solution to drawbacks on the conventional current transformer (CCT). Consequently, this paper investigated the impact of using OCT over the CCT for CCP of the HTL. The result shows that OCT could be used for CCP on much longer cable sections thus increase its reliability as the AR scheme can be used on longer or multiple cable section.
