Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan metode observasi dengan LKS Word Square terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP N 1 Warureja Kabupaten Tegal semester genap tahun ajaran 2010/2011. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII sebanyak 9 kelas. Sampel tiga kelas yaitu kelas VII G, VII H dan VII I diambil dengan teknik purpossive sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan One-Shot Case Study. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 83,52% siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran serta 92,08% siswa telah melampui KKM pembelajaran (≥ 75% aktivitas siswa termasuk dalam kategori aktivitas sangat tinggi dan aktivitas tinggi serta 85% dari keseluruhan siswa memperoleh nilai ≥ 65). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode observasi dengan LKS Word Square pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup efektif terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. This research aims to find out effectiveness of  observation method application using  Word Square LKS toward activity and student learning result on human being clasification material. This research was done in SMP N 1 Warureja Kabupaten Tegal in semester VII  there were 9 classess. The sample was three classess which were VII G, VII H, and VII I and  taken using purposive technic sampling. This research is Quasi experimental design using One-Shote Case Study desaign. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of substantive technical education and training program for Islamic High School (Madrasah Aliyah/MA) throughout Central Java and Yogyakarta. Quantitative research with "One-Group Pretest-Postest Design" research design was used. Population and samples were taken from all Biology teachers throughout Central Java and Yogyakarta with a total of 33 participants. Instruments for data retrieval were questions about pretest and posttest. The data were in the form of participants’ pretest and posttest results. Based on the Wilcoxon test results, it obtained t count -3.083, while p = 0.002 <0.05, it could be concluded that substantive education and training can effectively improve the material mastery for Madrasah Aliyah biology teachers. The materials were the analysis of Graduate Competence Standard (SKL), Core Competence (KI), Basic Competence (KD), Biology Indicators of Madrasah Aliyah, essential material of anatomy and physiology of animals and plants, cells, animal and plant tissues, metabolic processes, biotechnology and their application, genetic in inheritance, and the practice of Madrasah aliyah biology learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the VLOG Environmental Exploration assignment method on students' biodiversity literacy. VLOG Environmental Exploration as a form of project assignment for students to learn to analyze the environment through independent video making. The research method used is True Experimental Design in the form of Posttest Only Control Design. The research subjects were students of IAIN Salatiga Tadris IPA in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. Data on students' biodiversity literacy abilities were obtained using tests, then analyzed by statistical difference test t-test. The results showed a significant difference in the biodiversity literacy abilities of students in the experimental class and the control class. These results indicate that VLOG Environmental Exploration can affect the increase in student biodiversity literacy. VLOG Environmental Exploration involves in-depth analysis of the condition of biodiversity in the environment in which students live. Students' cognitive abilities have an important role to play in analyzing environmental biodiversity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of the Islamic and Indonesian-based contextual scientific literacy assessment instrument (ALSKII) using the Rasch model. This instrument was developed in the context of Covid-19 as a socio-scientific issue that is presented in a structured manner with a plural model, namely scientific and socio-scientific. The scientific model represents the content of science which is presented in three models, namely mechanistic, systematic, and mathematical. The socio-scientific model is a scientific context that is integrated with religion and nation. This instrument has five skills which are made into 25 question items. The sample of this research is 75 final-semester science education students who were selected purposively. The results showed that the Islamic and Indonesian-based contextual scientific literacy assessment instrument was valid and reliable with a person measure the value of 0.73, MNSQ person and item close to 0.0, person and ZSTD item close to 1.0, Cronbach alpha 0.67, person reliability 0.64 and item reliability 0.95. This instrument can be an alternative in the assessment of scientific literacy based on religion and the state. The instrument can also be further developed according to the context and socio-scientific issues that need to be solved in the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis literasi sains yang liputi pengujian kevalidan dan kepraktisan perangkat. Objek penelitian di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kedungkelor 02, Desa Kedungkelor, Kabupaten Tegal. Tahapan penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan, desain perangkat dan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran. Perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan valid dari hasil review pakar dan analisis butir soal. Sedangkan perangkat pembelajaran dinyatakan praktis karena mendapatkan respon positif sebesar 89,17 % dari peserta didik dan 100% dari guru berdasarkan angket kepraktisan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, disimpulkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis literasi sains sangat valid dan sangat praktis digunakan pada SD Negeri Kedungkelor 02
