Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of leverage, capital structure, dividends, and investment decisions on company value in the food and beverage sector on the IDX for the 2019-2022 period using a quantitative approach. There are 14 samples of companies in the food and beverage sector on the IDX for the 2019-2022 period. Then the data is processed with the SPSS26 program. The results obtained are (1) Leverage has an influence on company value. There is a negative correlation between leverage and company value, (2) Dividend Policy has an influence on company value. There is a negative correlation between capital structure and company value, (3) Capital structure has an influence on company value. There is a positive correlation between capital structure and company value, (4) Investment decisions have an influence on company value. There is a negative correlation between investment decisions and company value (5) Leverage, capital structure, capital structure and investment decisions have an influence on company value. There is a positive correlation between leverage, capital structure, capital structure and investment decisions and company value. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi lebih dalam mengenai dampak. leverage, capital structure, dividen, dan investment decisions terhadap company value pada sektor food dan drink di BEI untuk periode 2019-2022. Kemudian pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif sengan sampel laporan keuangan dari 14 perusahaan pada sektor food dan drink di BEI untuk periode 2019-2022. Lalu data tersebut akan diolah dengan menggunakan program SPSS26. Sehingga, pada akhirnya menghasilkan suatu temuan yang dapat memberikan gambaran nyata bahwa (1) Leverage mempunyai pengaruh terhadap company value. Terdapat korelasi negatif antara leverage dan company value, (2) Dividend policy mempunyai pengaruh terhadap company value. Terdapat korelasi negatif antara dividend policy dan company value, (3) Capital structure mempunyai pengaruh terhadap company value. Terdapat korelasi positif antara capital structure dan company value, (4) Investment decisions mempunyai pengaruh terhadap company value. Terdapat korelasi negative antara investment decisions dan company value (5) Leverage, dividend policy, capital structure dan investment decisions mempunyai pengaruh terhadap company value. Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of perceived benefits, perceived ease of use, and perceived risks on Fintech usage adoption among Fintech users in Indonesia. This study employs a quantitative analysis method using primary data collected through questionnaires. The sample size was obtained through non-probability sampling, consisting of 246 Fintech service users. The data analysis method used partial least squares-structural modeling (PLS-SEM) with Smart PLS 4.0 application. The research findings indicate that perceived benefits and perceived ease of use have a positive and significant impact on Fintech usage adoption among Fintech users. On the other hand, perceived risk shows a positive but non-significant impact on the Fintech user adoption. Therefore, perceived benefits and perceived ease of use are crucial and must be considered in supporting Fintech usage adoption among Fintech users.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of advertising on social media, accreditation and facilities on students' intentions in choosing the Faculty of Economics and Business, Tarumanagara University. This study uses a quantitative approach. The survey method is used to obtain or collect research data. The survey method is a research approach that involves collecting data from respondents or participants through questions or statements that have been prepared in advance. The sample will be taken using the non-probability sampling method because each member of the population has a different chance of being selected. This study uses a Likert scale, which usually consists of five responses. The data obtained from the results of the questionnaire distribution will be further analyzed using the SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) analysis tool to test validity and reliability. The results of the study have shown that there is a significant influence of Social Media Marketing, accreditation and facilities on the Intention to choose the Faculty of Economics and Business, Tarumanagara University. The results of the validity test on the four variables of Social Media Marketing, Facilities, Accreditation and Intention to choose the Faculty of Economics and Business, Tarumanagara University show that all are valid, because the calculated t value is greater than the t table value, so all statements are valid. In the Reliability test, it can be seen that all Cronbach's alpha values ​​are greater than 0.6 so that it can be said that all variables are reliable. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak iklan di media sosial, akreditasi dan fasilitas terhadap intensi mahasiswa dalam memilih Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Tarumanagara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode survei digunakan untuk mendapatkan atau mengumpulkan data penelitian. Metode survei merupakan pendekatan penelitian yang melibatkan pengumpulan data dari responden atau partisipan melalui pertanyaan atau pernyataan yang telah dipersiapkan sebelumnya. Sampel akan diambil menggunakan metode non-probability sampling karena setiap anggota populasi memiliki peluang yang berbeda untuk dipilih. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala Likert, yang biasanya terdiri dari lima tanggapan. Data yang telah didapatkan dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner akan dilakukan analisis lebih lanjut menggunakan alat analisis SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) untuk dilakukan pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian telah menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari Sosial Media Marketing, akreditasi dan fasilitas terhadap Intensi memilih Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Tarumanagara.

Abstract

Kemudahan pembayaran dan akses kredit melalui layanan Paylater semakin mempermudah transaksi dan berkontribusi pada peningkatan tren belanja impulsif serta berpotensi meningkatkan risiko gagal bayar dan berdampak pada stabilitas keuangan konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh risk perception dan materialism terhadap propensity to indebtedness dengan mediasi financial behavior. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 245 Generasi Z Pengguna Shopee Paylater di Jabodetabek. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah PLS-SEM dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif materialism dan financial behavior terhadap propensity to indebtedness, terdapat pengaruh negatif risk perception terhadap propensity to indebtedness, terdapat pengaruh negatif risk perception terhadap financial behavior, terdapat pengaruh mediasi financial behavior dalam memprediksi hubungan risk perception pada propensity to indebtedness. The ease of payment and access to credit through Paylater services further facilitates transactions and contributes to an increase in impulsive shopping trends and has the potential to increase the risk of default and impact on consumer financial stability. This study aims to determine the effect of risk perception and materialism on propensity to indebtedness with financial behaviour mediation. Data collection using a questionnaire with purposive sampling technique. The sample used was 245 Generation Z Shopee Paylater users in Jabodetabek. The data analysis technique used is PLS-SEM with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive effect of materialism and financial behavior on propensity to indebtedness, there is a negative effect of risk perception on propensity to indebtedness, there is a negative effect of risk perception on financial behavior, there is a mediating effect of financial behavior in predicting the relationship of risk perception on propensity to indebtedness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects investment opportunities and the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on profitability and dividend policy, the mediating role of profitability in these relationships. The research was conducted on healthcare sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2023 period using a causality method. A purposive sampling technique was applied, resulting in 12 selected companies out of 36 that met the criteria, with 36 panel data observations. Data analysis was carried out using panel data regression and the Sobel test. The results show that investment opportunities have a significant positive effect on both profitability and dividend policy, meaning companies with greater investment opportunities tend to achieve higher profits and distribute more dividends. In contrast, DER has a significant negative effect on both variables, indicating that higher debt levels can reduce company profitability and limit dividend distribution. Furthermore, profitability has a significant negative effect on dividend policy, suggesting that more profitable companies tend to retain earnings for reinvestment rather than distributing them as dividends. This reflects a conservative approach where retained earnings are prioritized to support future growth. In terms of mediation, profitability does not mediate the relationship between investment opportunities and dividend policy. However, it does mediate the relationship between DER and dividend policy, indicating that DER influences dividend policy indirectly through its impact on profitability. These findings highlight the importance of managing capital structure and investment decisions in shaping financial performance and dividend strategies in the healthcare sector. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu 1) untuk menganalisis pengaruh kesempatan investasi terhadap profitabilitas, 2) untuk menganalisis pengaruh Debt to Equity Ratio terhadap profitabilitas, 3) untuk menganalisis pengaruh kesempatan investasi terhadap kebijakan dividen, 4) untuk menganalisis pengaruh Debt to Equity Ratio terhadap kebijakan dividen, 5) untuk menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap kebijakan dividen, 6) untuk mengetahui peran mediasi profitabilitas dalam hubungan antara kesempatan investasi dan kebijakan dividen, 7) untuk mengetahui peran mediasi profitabilitas dalam hubungan antara Debt to Equity Ratio dan kebijakan dividen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kausalitas untuk menganalisis hubungan sebab-akibat antara kesempatan investasi dan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) terhadap kebijakan dividen, dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel mediasi, pada perusahaan sektor healthcare yang terdaftar di BEI selama periode 2021–2023. Teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk menentukan sampel berdasarkan kriteria tertentu, sehingga terpilih 12 perusahaan dari total 36 yang memenuhi syarat, menghasilkan 36 data observasi panel. Analisis data dilakukan dengan regresi data panel serta uji Sobel. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kesempatan investasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap profitabilitas dan kebijakan dividen perusahaan sektor healthcare di BEI periode 2021–2023, artinya semakin besar peluang investasi, profitabilitas dan pembagian dividen meningkat. Sebaliknya, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap keduanya, menunjukkan bahwa tingginya utang menurunkan profitabilitas dan dividen. Profitabilitas juga berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen, karena perusahaan cenderung menahan laba untuk reinvestasi. Profitabilitas tidak memediasi hubungan kesempatan investasi dan kebijakan dividen, namun memediasi hubungan DER dan kebijakan dividen.
