Abstract

ASEAN  Economic Community (AEC) has been agreed by the ASEAN leaders in 2003 as one mechanism to increase the social economic welfare of the people in ASEAN countries. Whilst it is no doubt the formation of AEC will give many benefits to ASEAN countries, there will be also negative impacts of the AEC. This paper aimed at analysing the implication and challenges of the formation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) toward Indonesian economy with particular attention to agricultural sector and the micro and small-medium enterprises (SMEs) development. The paper argues inter alia that the formation of AEC  will give benefit to ASEAN countries if and only if the ASEAN community has one voice in socio-economic and policial commitment and coordination. The economic sectors that need further greater improvement toward the success of the formation are agricultural sector and the micro, small and medium enterprises. Thus, much remain to be done by ASEAN countries in general and in Indonesia in particular toward the success of .the formation of AEC.

Abstract

Kinerja usaha merupakan ukuran keberhasilan dari suatu kegiatan usaha. UMK sebagai bagian dari UMKM dengan kontribusi yang cukupberperan terhadap perekonomian di Indonesia terhadap pendapatan dan penyerapan tenaga kerja.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh dari dukungan keluarga, akses finansial dan inovasi produk terhadap kinerja usaha UMK. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode cross section, dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling pada UMK perempuan sektor makanan dan minuman di Kabupaten Belitung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui Google Form, dan diperoleh 86 kuesioner yang terisi lengkap dan memenuhi syarat. Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) digunakan sebagai alat analisis dalam penelitian ini, dan SmartPLS v.4.0 digunakan dalam pengolahan data.  Pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas dari semua variabel diperoleh hasil dimana semua variabel valid dan reliabel. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh hasil path coefficient variabel akses finansial dan inovasi produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, sementara dukungan keluarga berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja UMK perempuan sektor makanan dan minuman di Kabupaten Belitung. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan bagi pemerintah setempat khususnya berkaitan dengan UMK untuk terus berupaya meningkatkan inovasi produk, mempermudah akses keuangan bagi pelaku usaha UMK, sehingga melalui inovasi produk, sebagai kunci dalam kegiatan kewirausahaan, akses finansial yang diperlukan, dalam pengembangan usaha, dapat meningkatkan kinerja usaha UMK serta pertumbuhannya.   Business performance is a measure of the success of a business activity. MSEs as part of MSMEs have a significant contribution to the Indonesian economy in terms of income and employment. This research aims to investigate the influence of family support, financial access and product innovation on MSE business performance. In this research, a quantitative approach was used using the cross-section method, with purposive sampling of female MSEs in the food and beverage sector in Belitung Regency. Data collection was carried out via Google Form, and 86 questionnaires were obtained that were completely filled out and met the requirements. Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used as an analysis tool in this research, and SmartPLS v.4.0 was used in data processing. Testing the validity and reliability of all variables obtained results where all variables were valid and reliable. From the test results, it was found that the path coefficient results for the variables financial access and product innovation had a positive and significant effect, while family support had a positive but not significant effect on the performance of female MSEs in the food and beverage sector in Belitung Regency. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide input for local governments, especially those related to MSEs, to continue to strive to increase product innovation, facilitate access to finance for MSE business actors, so that through product innovation, it is a key in entrepreneurial activities, access to the necessary finance, in business development, can improve MSE business performance and growth.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze the effects of variable GDP, inflation, interest rate, and exchange rate on share prices of the listed property sector in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The object population in this study is a company incorporated in the listed property dan real estate index sector (JAKPROP) in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2008 to 2017. This study uses Ordinary Least Square analysis to determine the effect of independent variables on the property and real estate index sector JAKPROP. Based on the t-test, GDP is significant, inflation is not significant, and the BI interest rate has a significant effect, while the variable exchange rate has a significant effect on property and real estate sector stock price index. Results simultaneously with the F test showed that all the independent variables significantly influence the stock price index property dan real estate sector. So, the result is the independent variable GDP, BI interest rate, and exchange rate have an influence effect on the stock price index of the listed property and real estate sector JAKPROP in the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

This research objective aimed to analyze and evaluate the internal and external factors of the company and to design a Balanced Scorecard as an alternative to performance measurement tools to support the company’s vision, mission, and strategy to achieve competitive advantage. The internal and external factors are to know what are the strengths and weaknesses of the company, as well as the opportunities and threats from the outside of the company. Based on the SWOT analysis, PT Kirana Megatara can identify the key success factors to compete with other companies in the same industry. A Balanced Scorecard enables companies to record financial performance results as well as monitor progress in building the company’s ability and to obtain intangible assets that are required for future growth. Balanced Scorecard measures the performance of companies on the four perspectives of balance: financial, customer, internal business processes, and learning growth to create strategy maps of the company. Based on the Balanced Scorecard analysis, the current performance in PT Kirana Megatara is more focused on a financial perspective, which is the growth of the sales and profitability increment. To achieve long-term objectives, PT Kirana Megatara should also be concerned with the other three perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard.

Abstract

The behavior of investors as individuals in taking attitudes and actions is different in addressing information. Market participants do not all consist of rational and emotional people. In some cases, some investors behave excessively in response to information by spontaneously selling stocks when the market moves beyond expectations or buying newly profitable stocks regardless of the fundamental valuation of the stock price. Such deviations include the phenomenon of the January effect, the phenomenon size effect, and the day of the week. The overreaction hypothesis is one of the deviations that occur in the capital market. The results showed LQ-45 stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange despite several overreaction symptoms but showed less significant results. Based on this, it can be concluded that there is no overreaction anomaly in the stock market in the Indonesia Stock Exchange especially on LQ-45 stocks in 2013-2015. The results also show that contrarian strategies cannot be performed to obtain an abnormal return.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of organizational identification on employees’ innovative work behavior through employee engagement as a mediating variable and creative self-efficacy as a moderating variable in start-up employees in Jakarta. Five hypotheses were developed according to the number of independent variables with mediation and moderation. The number sample of respondents in this study was 92 employees who worked at start-up companies in Jakarta. The method used to analyze the data was by applying PLS-SEM. The results show that organizational identification influences employee engagement at start-up companies in Jakarta. Also, employee engagement influences employees’ innovative work behavior at start-up companies in Jakarta. Organizational identification influences employee innovative work behavior in start-up companies in Jakarta. Organizational identification influences employee innovative work behavior through employee engagement in start-up companies in Jakarta, and creative self-efficacy moderates the influence of employee engagement on employees’ innovativeness work behavior at start-up companies in Jakarta. Therefore, start-up companies in Jakarta need to evaluate the level of employee engagement at work, to start implementing education and training for companies regarding the importance of recognition and attachment to the company and how the added value of innovative behavior in employees, as well as to further pay attention to the level of employee engagement by paying attention to determining factors such as employee psychological factors so that you can identify the characteristics of employees who have high employee engagement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh organizational identification terhadap employees’ innovative work behavior melalui employee engagement sebagai variabel mediasi dan creative self-efficacy sebagai variabel moderasi pada karyawan start-up di Jakarta. Dikembangkan 5 hipotesis sesuai dengan banyaknya variabel bebas dengan mediasi dan moderasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 92 karyawan yang bekerja di perusahaan start-up di Jakarta. Untuk mengolah data-datanya, peneliti menggunakan program SmartPLS untuk uji validitas dan reliabilitas serta pengolahan data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa organizational identification berpengaruh terhadap employee engagement karyawan pada perusahaan start-up di Jakarta, employee engagement berpengaruh terhadap employees’ innovative work behavior karyawan pada perusahaan start-up di Jakarta, organizational identification berpengaruh terhadap employees’ innovative work behavior karyawan pada perusahaan start-up di Jakarta, organizational identification berpengaruh terhadap employees’ innovative work behavior karyawan melalui employee engagement pada perusahaan start-up di Jakarta, dan creative self-efficacy memoderasi pengaruh employee engagement terhadap employees’ innovative work behavior karyawan pada perusahaan start-up di Jakarta. Kontribusi penelitian ini sangat disarankan kepada para pihak perusahaan start-up di Jakarta untuk mengevaluasi tingkat engagement karyawan yang bekerja, untuk mulai menerapkan edukasi dan training kepada perusahaan mengenai pentingnya pengenalan dan keterikatan terhadap perusahaan serta bagaimana nilai lebih dari perilaku inovatif pada karyawan, serta untuk lebih memerhatikan tingkat keterikatan karyawan dengan cara memerhatikan faktor-faktor yang menentukan seperti faktor psikologis karyawan agar dapat diketahui ciri-ciri karyawan yang memiliki keterikatan kerja tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of product quality, price, and promotion on consumer purchasing intentions for handicraft products at the Lind’s Craft Store, Jakarta. The analytical research method used is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 25 tools. The sampling method in this research is nonprobability sampling with a convenience sampling technique. The number of samples in this research was 250 respondents. The results of this research show that the three variables of product quality, price, and promotion positively affect consumer purchase intentions for Lind’s Craft, Jakarta products, both partially and jointly. The suggestions from this research are that it is hoped that Lind’s Craft, Jakarta needs to pay attention to the level of product quality, price, and promotion to increase consumer and customer purchasing intentions for the handicraft products offered by Lind’s Craft. It would be better if product prices need to be designed and adjusted to the quality or perceived benefits so that consumers’ purchasing intentions increase. Promotion by recommending brands can also increase consumer purchasing intentions. Product quality by highlighting product innovation and after-sales service is also an effort that needs to be made to increase consumer purchasing intentions for handicraft products from Lind’s Craft, Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan melihat pengaruh kualitas produk, harga, dan promosi terhadap niat beli konsumen pada produk kerajinan tangan di toko Lind’s Craft, Jakarta. Metode penelitian analisis yang digunakan, yakni analisis regresi linier berganda dengan alat bantu SPSS 25. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah secara non-probability sampling dengan teknik convenience sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 250 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel kualitas produk, harga dan promosi berpengaruh positif terhadap niat beli konsumen pada produk Lind’s Craft, Jakarta baik secara parsial maupun bersama-sama. Saran dari penelitian ini diharapkan pihak Lind’s Craft, Jakarta perlu memperhatikan tingkat kualitas produk, harga, serta promosi untuk meningkatkan niat beli konsumen dan pelanggan pada produk kerajinan tangan yang ditawarkan oleh Lind’s Craft. Sebaiknya harga produk perlu dirancang dan disesuaikan dengan kualitas atau manfaat yang dirasakan agar niat beli konsumen semakin naik. Promosi dengan cara merekomendasikan merek dapat pula membuat niat beli konsumen meningkat. Kualitas produk dengan menonjolkan inovasi produk dan pelayanan after sales juga merupakan upaya yang perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan niat beli konsumen pada produk kerajinan tangan Lind’s Craft, Jakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of debt to equity ratio, net receivable asset ratio, operational cost to output, and non-performing financing on the return on assets of financing institutions listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2013 and 2022. The data used was obtained from the financial industries listed in the IDX. The method to analyze the data was by applying multiple linear regression analysis as suggested in the literature. The results showed that the debt to equity ratio, net receivable asset ratio, operational costs on operating income, and non-performing financing influenced significantly return on asset both partially and jointly. Therefore, it is suggested the companies’ management of the finance industry need to take into consideration all the variables to improve the ROA level. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh debt to equity ratio, net receivable asset ratio, biaya operasional terhadap output, dan non-performing financing terhadap return on asset lembaga pembiayaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2013 hingga tahun 2022. Data yang digunakan diperoleh dari industri keuangan yang terdaftar di BEI. Metode analisis data adalah dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda seperti yang disarankan dalam literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rasio utang terhadap ekuitas, rasio aset piutang bersih, dan biaya operasional terhadap pendapatan operasional, serta pembiayaan bermasalah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap return on asset baik secara parsial maupun bersama-sama. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar manajemen perusahaan industri keuangan yang diteliti perlu mempertimbangkan seluruh variabel untuk meningkatkan ROA.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of earning per share, debt to equity ratio, and return on assets simultaneously and partially on the stock prices of the BUMN banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2010-2019. This research used 4 BUMN bank on the Indonesia Stock Exchange: Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bank Mandiri, Bank Negara Indonesia, and Bank Tabungan Negara. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression through SPSS 24.00 program. The result of this study shows that earning per share, debt to equity ratio, and return on assets have a significant influence on stock price partially or simultaneously. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh earning per share, debt to equity ratio, dan return on assets secara bersama-sama dan terpisah terhadap harga saham perbankan BUMN yang listing di Bursa Efek Indonesia dalam periode 2010-2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan 4 bank BUMN di Bursa Efek Indonesia: Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bank Mandiri, Bank Negara Indonesia, dan Bank Tabungan Negara. Metode analisis menggunakan multiple linear regression melalui program SPSS 24.00. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa earning per share, debt to equity ratio, dan return on assets memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham secara parsial maupun bersama-sama.

Abstract

Consumer behavior in e-commerce in Indonesia tends to be impulsive, especially with the presence of TikTok Shop as a social commerce platform. This study aims to examine the influence of live streaming, convenient payment methods, and free shipping on impulsive purchasing behavior among Indonesian TikTok Shop consumers. The data analysis method used in this study is the SEM-PLS analysis method. The data source for this research is TikTok Shop consumers in the Jabodetabek area and outside Jabodetabek through quantitative data collection using a questionnaire instrument. The results of this study indicate that live streaming shopping, convenience payment methods, and free shipping have a positive and significant effect on impulsive purchasing behavior among Indonesian TikTok Shop consumers. The practical implications of this research are as input for sellers on the TikTok Shop platform to continuously improve the quality of live streaming conducted, payment method improvements, and free shipping, thereby increasing the number of impulsive purchases from TikTok Shop consumers. Perilaku konsumen e-commerce di Indonesia cenderung impulsif, khususnya dengan hadirnya TikTok Shop sebagai platform social commerce. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh live streaming, metode pembayaran yang nyaman, dan pengiriman gratis terhadap pembelian impulsif pada konsumen TikTok Shop Indonesia. Metode analisis data yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis SEM-PLS. Sumber data pada penelitian ini ialah konsumen TikTok Shop yang ada di daerah Jabodetabek serta luar Jabodetabek melalui proses pengumpulan data secara kuantitatif menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa live streaming, convenience payment methods, dan free shipping berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pembelian impulsif konsumen TikTok Shop Indonesia. Implikasi praktis dari hasil penelitian ini ialah sebagai bahan masukan bagi penjual atau seller di platform TikTok Shop untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas dari live streaming yang dilakukan, perbaikan metode pembayaran, serta pengiriman gratis, sehingga dapat meningkatkan jumlah pembelian impulsif dari konsumen TikTok Shop.
