Abstract

Evaluasi lahan merupakan suatu pendekatan untuk menilai potensi sumber daya lahan. Hasil evaluasi lahan akan memberikan informasi arahan penggunaan lahan yang diperlukan, dan akhirnya nilai harapan produksi yang kemungkinan akan diperoleh. Kebutuhan lahan setiap tahun semakin meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk yang tidak diimbangi dengan ketersediaan lahan yang  memadai untuk lahan pertanian yang subur dan potensial. Penelitian tentang Evaluasi Kesesuaian Lahan Tanaman Kakao di SUB DAS Salu Paku Kabupaten Luwu utara merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi Kakao dimana secara umum produksi di Daerah tersebut masih sangat rendah di banding potensi produksi optimal tanaman Kakao. Produksi tanaman Kakao di Sub DAS Salu Paku hanya berkisar 0,6657 ton /ha dan masih jauh di bawah potensi produksi Tanaman Kakao sebanyak 1,5 ton/ha Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) menentukan tingkat kesesuaian lahan tanaman kakao di Sub DAS Salu Paku Kabupaten Luwu Utara. 2) membuat peta klasifikasi  kesesuaian lahan aktual dan potensial tanaman kakao. Peneltian  dilaksanakan pada  bulan Juli sampai Desember 2020. Bahan dan alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah  peta administrasi, penggunaan lahan, peta jenis tanah, peta lereng, peta geologi dan citra lansat dengan skala 1 : 75.000, GPS, bor, abney level, meteran, kamera dan alat tulis menulis. Berdasarkan analisis kelas kesesuaian lahan aktual dari tiga unit lahan yang diambil sebagai sampel  umumnya menunjukkan kesesuaian lahan sesuai marginal (S3ne) dengan faktor pembatas hara tersedia (K2O) dan tingkat bahaya erosi (lereng). Dengan kondisi kesesuaian tersebut maka usaha perbaikan terhadap faktor pembatas K2O dengan pemberian  pupuk KCl dan pembuatan teras dengan tingkat kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Increasing corn production by minimizing the use of fertilizers, especially phosphorus (P) fertilizers can be done by maximizing the release of phosphorus nutrients bound in the soil. This study aims to make efficient use of phosphorus fertilizer by utilizing phosphate solvent extract (EPF) in increasing the growth and production of maize. The study was conducted from November 2018 to March 2019, which was arranged in a randomized block design with package treatments: EPF 100 mL/L + P 50 kg/ha (0.7 g/plant), EPF 150 mL/L water + P 100 kg /ha (1.4 g/plant), EPF 200 mL/L water + P 150 kg/ha (2.1 g/plant), EPF 150 mL/L water + P 50 kg/ha (0.7 g/ plants) and EPF 200 mL/L water + P 100 kg/ha (1.4 g/plant). Each treatment combination was repeated three times. The results showed that 1) The availability of P in the soil increased after being treated with a combination of EPF and P reaching 8.61 ppm compared to only 1.15 ppm before treatment. 2) The combination of treatment with EPF 100 mL/L water + P 0.7 g/plant has a very good effect on the level of P uptake. 3) The combination of Phosphate Solvent Extract 200 mL/L water + P 1.4 g/plant has a good effect on growth and maize production of Srikandi Putih Variety with Phosphorus Use Efficiency of 0.82%.

Abstract

Rice is a staple food for most of Indonesia's population. Therefore it is necessary to increase the production and quality with Nitrogen and Zing fertilization. The long-term goal of this study is to improve and obtain new methods of fertilization to increase production and protein content and Zn rice. Specific targets to be achieved are to reduce malnutrition of Indonesia's poor. The method used for this purpose to be achieved is by deciphering the appropriate mixture of N and Zn so that the protein and Zn content in the rice increases. Research conducted 2 years. year I was performed in a plastic house in a pot experiment and obtained results showing Zn application at a concentration of 400 mg ZnO / l water + nitrogen fertilization of 160 kg / ha increased the dry weight of a grain of 11.8%. weight of 1000 seeds 4.8%. protein 4.8% and Zn 26.4%. Based on the result of the research of Year I. conducted the research of Year II by applying the formula on 4 varieties. directly in the fields. Research II is designed in a separate Plot Design. The main plot is the formulation (F) consisting of 200 mg ZnO / l water +160 kg N / ha (F1) and 400 mg ZnO / l water + 160 kg N / ha (F2). The subplot is a variety (V) consisting of Field Ase (V1). Pulu Mandoti (V2). Ciherang (V3). Santana (V4). repeated 3 times. This year's research obtained results showing concentrations of 400 mg ZnO / L water + 160 kg N / ha increased dry weight of grain, and tended to increase protein and Zn levels in rice. Rice Varieties Ase Field and Pulu Mandoti higher levels of protein and Zn then followed by Varieties Ciherang and Cisantana.
