Abstract

In early 2019, an asar fish processing business appeared on Tanjung Marthafons Beach, Poka Village. The advantage of this business is that it utilizes fresh cultivated fish, fish at the bottom and directly served for consumption. This business requires basic data for business development and sustainability. This study aims to analyze the added value of asar fish processing business on the Coast of Marthafons Cape in Poka Village. The survey was conducted in four business units, with the key respondents being business owners. The data obtained through observation and interviews were then analyzed using the value-added method of processing business. The results showed that the smoked fish processing business on the Coast of Marthafons Cape in Poka Village which consisted of the Marthafons, G & J Café, Lolias, and Mega Fish business units had an added value of Rp 27,620 to Rp 45,864 per kg. The value-added ratio shows that the G & J Café and Lalosi business units have low value-added, while the Marthafons and Mega Fish business units have moderate value-added. This value-added provides business certainty due to the high profit ratio of 78.52% to 96.90% per production period.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe management related to planning, organizing, and supervising of Sapta Pesona in the Marine Natural Tourism Park Pombo Island, Central Maluku District which includes: security, order, beauty, cleanliness, coolness, friendliness, and memory. This research uses a descriptive approach with qualitative data. Data collection techniques were carried out by survey, interview, and observation methods. The sample selection was carried out using a purposive sampling method involving 3 employees of the Maluku Natural Resources Conservation Agency, 3 speedboat owners, and 4 people who are members of the community around Pombo Island, namely 2 people from Waai Village and 2 people from Tulehu Village. These two villages are villages that have access to Pombo Island. Research data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that: 1). Security is not good because there are no security officers either on the coast or in the Pombo Island area; 2). Orderliness is not good enough because there is no pier as a place to drop off tourists or a berth for used transportation; 3). The lack of facilities and infrastructure to support beauty and the lack of cleanliness in the tourist area makes the tourist object less beautiful; 4). The tourist attraction of Pombo Island is not clean because there is a lot of scattered garbage, and the lack of existing cleaning support facilities, such as the absence of a cleaning manager and no garbage disposal; 5). The Pombo Island tourism object is quite cool, but there are no facilities and infrastructure to support coolness because there is no resting place for tourists such as a gazebo; 6). the community which is the access point for heading to Pombo Island is quite good and friendly to tourists, especially in providing information for tourists; dan 7). Currently there is no provision of regional souvenirs for tourists, and regarding the activities of a particular event at a tourist attraction, beach parties are routinely held every year.

Jikumerasa Beach or known as Djiku Beach is one of the most popular and visited natural tourist attractions on Buru Island. The purpose of this study is to review the suitability of the completeness of facilities and infrastructure of tourist attractions based on the standards of suitability of the completeness of facilities and infrastructure proposed by Lothar and Kreck in Yoeti (2006). The standard of completeness of facilities and infrastructure proposed by Lothar and Kreck, among others, from the facility facilities are divided into basic facilities and completeness of tourism facilities, while in terms of infrastructure facilities consist of general economic infrastructure, and general social infrastructure. Completeness of tourist facilities and infrastructure is a very important factor to support the comfort of tourists in carrying out tourism activities. This is the background for the author to conduct a review of the facilities and infrastructure located on Djiku beach to see the suitability of the completeness of these facilities and infrastructure. The method used is a qualitative method with field observation techniques and literature studies to obtain references and descriptions related to ideal facilities and infrastructure in tourism. The conclusion of this research is that the completeness of the facilities and infrastructure of Djiku beach tourist attractions is identified as quite complete and feasible. The results of this study are expected to be able to become a reference for tourism development in the area.
