Abstract

Pada tahun 2020 saat datangnya pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia, paradigma masyarakat mulai bergeser tentang cara membeli barang kebutuhan yang pada awalnya membeli secara langsung di toko atau pusat perbelanjaan menjadi berbelanja melalui e-commerce atau toko online. Peningkatan permintaan masyarakat tersebut harus dapat diimbangi dengan peningkatan pelayanan. Peningkatan tersebut dimulai dari peningkatan armada, waktu tempuh, dan sumber daya manusianya, khususnya pada teknik pengemasan barang umum, khusus, dan barang berbahaya (B2). Mengemas barang atau packing barang sudah menjadi keharusan bagi jasa ekspedisi, karena ini sangatlah penting agar terhindar dari suatu masalah “kerusakan barang”. Pengemasan barang ini berguna agar barang yang akan dikirim aman dan terhindar dari kerusakan yang disebabkan goresan dan benturan. Pengabdian Masyarakat dengan judul “Sosialiasi Teknik Pengemasan Berbagai Barang di Terminal Cargo Denpasar” dilaksanakan dengan membuat brosur yang berisikan tentang pengetahuan umum tentang pengemasan barang, pengetahuan umum dan dasar hukum tata cara pengangkutan barang berbahaya, dan pelabelan barang berbahaya. Kemudian dilakukan sosialisasi secara door-to-door pada setiap gudang di terminal barang Kota Denpasar. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dapat menyampaikan informasi tentang pentingnya pengemasan barang yang tepat untuk meningkatkan pelayanan, rasa nyaman dan keamanan bagi pengguna jasa pergudangan dan pengiriman barang.

Abstract

The reactive plan of the Madura railway line received a favorable response from four regents in Madura. As the plan can improve economic development and facilitate human and goods movements easily. In its development, the potential for the development of the island of Madura needs to be noticed in terms of both the economy and its infrastructure. The potential for development on the island of Madura itself is still impressed as not well developed compared to the city of Surabaya which is directly adjacent to the island of Madura. Notable in economic development is a condition of accessibility and support and complementary facilities such as the existing transport on the island of Madura. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential for the development of a railway station in Madura by reactivating the railroad. the method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method by conducting interviews/questionnaires to the Madurese community, regulators and transportation practitioner experts. Based on the results of the analysis of the existing Madura train stations, it can be concluded that there are 7 major stations with potential for station development in Madura. The potential for the development of a railway station can increase economic, tourism and industrial value. In the development of the station area, it is also necessary to pay attention to supporting facilities and tie them well with various sectors such as tourist sites, industrial locations and trade locations.

Abstract

Gudang pusat distribusi memegang peran penting dalam suatu proses logistik. Pemilihan lokasi gudang pusat distribusi yang strategis dapat meminimalkan jarak tempuh oleh armada pengangkut dari gudang pusat distribusi ke cabang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan bantuan peta Geographical InformationSystem dan perangkat lunak AnyLogic. Titik-titik lokasi yang menggambarkan kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Bali digunakan untuk menganalisis jarak tempuh paling minimum dari gudang pusat ke cabang. Pendekatan situasi di lapangan dilakukan melalui pemodelan yang menggunakan bilangan acak (seed). Pemodelan dilakukan melalui dua skenario, skenario pertama dengan satu gudang pusat distribusi dan skenario kedua dengan gudang pusat yang jumlahnya lebih daripada satu. Dari penelitian diperoleh bahwa sistem pada skenario pertama memiliki keunggulan dari segi jarak tempuh.

Abstract

The death rate on the highway is increasing every year. One of the factors that adds to the death toll on the highway is the driver of a motorized vehicle driving more than the permitted speed. Speedometer is an important device in vehicles related to safety factors, because a good driver always pays attention to the speed of the vehicle he is driving with the condition of the road or terrain traversed. Therefore, in the kir test according to article 53 paragraph (1) of the LLAJ Law, there is a speedometer testing section. However, the implementation of portable vehicle speed measurement has not yet been implemented. The purpose of this study was to produce a prototype of a portable motorized vehicle speed measuring instrument based on Arduino. The output of this prototype design was the result of the vehicle speed reading that was carried out during the roving test. The main components of the prototype consisted of the Arduino Uno Microcontroller as the main control system, proximity sensor as a reader, bluetooth HC-05 as a data sender to Android, an AMOLED LCD display and an Android application via a smartphone to display the speed reading results. The prototype test gives a slight difference in the results with the speedometer in the vehicle and the speed on the Muller Bem. In this case, the speed shown by the prototype is still within the permissible limits, namely -10% to +15% of the Muller Bem tool.
