Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the needs of developing the worksheet in the Object Oriented Programming (PBO) course. This research is explorative descriptive research. The subjects of this study are students of Electronics Engineering class of 2016 Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang. Samples were randomly selected by 20 students. Data were collected using observation sheet of PBO lecture and student questionnaire. The result of the observation indicates that the current worksheet is too wide in the scope of the material because of the combination of the PBO 1 and PBO 2 job sheets and the lack of explanation of the statements on the soure code. The results of the questionnaire development needs of the development of the worksheet show that students need a more easily understood job sheet, equipped with success indicators and glossary of terms or functions in the PBO (Java Programming Language). Abstract

Sistem e-learning harus bisa menginformasikan pengguna di luar atau di dalam area dimana sistem dioperasikan tentang objek belajar. Kesulitan dalam memasuki sistem membuat informasi sulit disebarluaskan. Konsep metadata memberikan solusi untuk akses yang lebih luas terhadap sistem e-learning. Struktur metadata tentang pembelajaran objek organisasi dalam sistem e-learning dibentuk dengan query database untuk membaca struktur dan isi objek pembelajaran, lalu yang terwakili dalam format XML. Metadata dapat didefinisikan sebagai data tentang data atau data yang menjelaskan tentang data lain. Dokumen metadata terdiri dari informasi yang menjelaskan karakteristik data termasuk data tentang, kualitas data dan kondisi data serta bagaimana mendapatkan akses terhadap data. Metadata digunakan untuk mendokumentasikan data yang dihasilkan dan menjawab pertanyaan mendasar tentang siapa, kapan, di mana, dan mengapa data dibuat. Makalah ini akan menjelaskan tentang metadata apa adanya. Lebih khusus lagi ini juga akan menjelaskan tentang bagaimana membuat metadata dan menghasilkan materi e-learning sebagai katalog pembelajaran objek, yang ditempatkan pada data repositori dan bisa diakses dengan menggunakan browser web.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to see an increase in the knowledge of Majelis Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) of Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota after a training of Cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) using Moodlecloud and ask their opinions about the use of LMS in learning in their Subjects. The experimental design used to see the increase in the knowledge of the participants in this training was pre-experimental using the one-group pre-test post-test design. The teachers involved in the training were 15 people. Their opinion on the use of LMS for learning was asked through a questionnaire. The data shows that there is an increase in the teacher's knowledge in managing LMS using Moodlecloud, and from the questionnaire it appears that they agree that the use of LMS in their learning is interesting, practical, motivating and easy to use. From the interviews, it was also concluded that they were very enthusiastic in using this media as an additional alternative to their respective subject learning

Abstract

The development of information and communication technologies now provides new opportunities for businesses to increase revenue and expand the marketing area. Example is the use of e-commerce. The implementation of e-commerce is one good way to deal with the existing trade competition. So the marketing information system design is a solution for Mujahidah Computer to overcome marketing problems. The system design is described in three stages diagram of Unified Modeling Language (UML). These stages are context diagram, use case diagrams, and activity diagrams. This system uses PHP programming language with Codeigniter framework and MySQL as the database. This information system will be facilitated with online sales to expand the marketing targets and provides information about the Mujahidah Computer a means of promotion. Abstract

This research discusses discussesthe advantage of information technology as a learning aid that is by by designing interactive multimedia learning on basic computer and networking at class X  in vocational school. The research aims to design a valid and practical interactive CD learning media using Adobe Director 11.5 software and supported by other media applications. In designing the material the researcher uses the classic tutorial method. The instruments carried out by researchers to collect data were by filling out questionnaires on the validity of the media carried out by 2 media lecturers (experts) who included aspects of media content, presentation and format as well as practical assessment of media carried out by 2 subject teachers and 5 students. Based on the results of the assessment has been conducted on the validity of the media, the results obtained with an average value of 0.79 and the value of practicality of the media obtained an average yield of 84.38% and 83%. So that it can be concluded that the interactive CD learning media designed using the adobe director 11.5 application is feasible and practical to use in Computer lessons and Class X Basic Networks in vocational school Keywords: Instructional Media, Adobe Director 11.5, Basic Computer And Network.

Abstract

Satisfaction is the level of one's feelings after comparing the performance (outcome) that he felt compared to his expectations. Servqual method combined with fuzzy logic with the aim that the measurement of perceptions and expectations of students can be measured more precisely with more objective data.The purpose of this research is to measure the level of student satisfaction on Quality of Service WLAN network SMKN 2 Padang using Fuzzy-Servqual method. The method used in determining the level of student satisfaction is Servqual method that contains five dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, tangibles, security and access. The results of the analysis show that the overall gap is negative, which means that students are not satisfied with WLAN SMKN 2 Padang service. The gap value of each dimension in the Accounting department is reliability = -0.580; responsiveness = -0.4461; tangible = -0.603; security = -0.146; access = -0.4463. While in the tourism business travel department (UPW) gap value for the dimensions of reliability = -1,620; responsiveness = -1,460; tangible = -1,897; security = -1,517; access = -1,260. For the overall gap Accounting majors = -0.451, while the tourism business travel (UPW) = -1.540. Keywords: Fuzzy-Servqual, gap, WLAN

Abstract

English is the language most widely used in the world. English is the most popular in the world while the language most widely adopted as the official language in several countries and international organizations. There are 53 countries and 10 international organizations that use English as the official language. In addition, almost all countries in the world would adopt English as a second language after their own national language. In the working world, some companies generally use TOEIC to help find qualified employees to speak English. TOEIC is a test used to measure a person's ability to speak English. In TOEIC, there is a series of tests to be done. TOEIC score itself is widely used for the requirements for the company. For example, PT Pertamina (Persero).The course fee and cost Toeic tests are relatively expensive to make the most of those who need to learn self-taught TOEIC score and perform simulation before following Toeic test. But the self-taught through books deemed less effective, uninteresting, monotonous, boring and can not be used in dark places. And applications for free circulation in the Play Store app is paid mostly.Applications will Toeic authors designed using the Java programming language and Eclipse as editor, and is a free application that can be used offline. The TOEIC app provides four main menu tips and tricks, Toeic simulation, solution, and about. On the menu Tips and Tricks provides ways TOEIC do the problems easily. On the menu Toeic simulation contains questions TOEIC. On the menu solution contains a discussion of the TOEIC simulation has been done so that the user can understand TOEIC matter of discussion given. Abstract

The problem in this final project is an internal problem of the school is the availability of school facilities and infrastructures are affected to the students’ knowledge of X TKJ in identifying the type of devices peripheral and its functions. Other causes are the teaching methods and learning medias which used not various, it makes learning become less enjoyable. To overcome these problems, then designed a technology-based Learning Media MagicBook Augmented Reality using Android mobile devices. Besides being able to combine the virtual objects with the reality environtment, Augmented Reality technology enables users to perform three-dimensional direct interaction thus better able to give the impression for students. Magicbook Learning Media is designed like a regular book, but in inside the Magicbook is inserted a marker as a link between the real world and the virtual objects, then added with animation and video tutorials use the application. This media is created using Vuforia Library, Unity Free and Mono Development, Autodesk 3D Studio Max as animation maker software. This media is designed to assist students in understanding the concept of training courses of Apply the Function of Instalation PC and Peripherals and assist teachers in explaining the material. Abstract

This projects aims to provide an information system to search for the important address in Padang. The important address in Padang still use the phone book (yellow  pages),  but  not  everyone can  use and  have it.  In  the  search  for  the important address in Padang, not everyone has a mobile phone that can access the internet and if using a mobile phone, it will need the charge. As well as in the search for important addresses in Padang, not everyone can call the operator, and call the operator also takes the charge. Because of that problem, this application created with no internet service, so it does not cost money. This mobile application system can provide information such as text display with detailed  address  and  phone  numbers  and  addresses  an  important  route  in Padang. The starting address point is from Padang’s Market because a lot of public transport with the important addresses major roads in Padang is passing along this way. The mobile application comes with a list of important address like Mosques, Hospitals, Hotels, Universities and Government Offices which contain such as info address, phone number and the address route to search the important address for the application’s user.
