Abstract

Kata kunci: strategi bersaing, kompetensi inti, perencanaan strategis ABSTRACT Although PTS X has had some foundation that can support the achievement of the vision and mission, including the Strategic Plan (Strategic Plan) and Development Master Plan. However, PTS X has not been identified core competence, vision and mission will be more easily achieved nor perfect in its achievements, if it has a core competence (core competencies). Core competencies (core competence) is a fundamental capability of the company and was instrumental in establishing a competitive advantage as well as the center of formulation strategies to fulfill the vision and mission in providing advantages in the market or scope of services. There are two identified competencies ie, current and future core competence, core competence. Current core competence is a concern that has been owned by the lecturer to the students, the future core competence is a must-have support. The development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) is on the rise and is considered flexible in seizing existing opportunities. Furthermore, the increasingly competitive global environment demands that MSMEs enhance their competitiveness to maintain their existence. In this era of rapid trade development, the role of technology is crucial to success. Technology is one of the main competitive advantages for MSMEs, and improving technological capabilities forms the foundation for enhanced business performance. However, MSMEs often face the challenge of limited knowledge regarding the selection of technology that supports their formulated corporate strategy. The research objective is to analyze technology assessment and formulate effective technology strategies to support the development of X MSME. The method used is the technometric method to assess business competitiveness and formulate effective technology strategies. This method was developed by UNESCAP and consists of four technology components, namely technoware, humanware, infoware, and orgaware. The Total Composite Index (TCC) value obtained is 0.478. The sophistication level values of the technoware component are 0.297, humanware is 0.533, infoware is 0.315, and orgaware is 0.531. In benchmarking, X MSME falls below its competitors in terms of overall components. According to the Sethi’s technology strategy formulation, X MSME is positioned in the Draw quadrant.

Abstract

In the context of industrial development, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) are considered flexible in capitalizing on business opportunities and are perceived as more resilient during economic crises. However, intensifying global competition underscores the importance of technology as a determinant of success. MSMEs need to enhance their technological capabilities to improve their business performance, despite frequently facing financial constraints. The government's role in supporting MSMEs becomes crucial through the development of infrastructure and policies that foster the growth of small industries, strengthen competitiveness, and facilitate product exports. The aim of this article is to formulate effective development policies for the technological components and operational policies to support the growth of X MSME. The methodology used involves a review of relevant literature on policies for modern small industries, encompassing small industry development approaches, problem-solving solutions, guiding principles for small industry development policies, the triple helix model, operational policies, continuous strategic improvement, and criteria for small industry development success. The article's findings recommend development policies based on Technoware, Humanware, Inforware, and Orgaware (THIO) aspects to be implemented by X MSME, along with operational policies from the government as a form of support and guidance for MSMEs.

Abstract

In the context of optimizing performance, the tourism industry has great potential as a source of income for regions and countries. One area that has great potential in the tourism industry is Rembang Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. However, this industry is also vulnerable to various risks, such as natural disasters, pandemics, and security issues. Therefore, this research aims to identify risks in the tourism industry supply chain in Rembang Regency and develop effective mitigation strategies. The research method used is decision matrix risk assessment (DMRA), which involves supply chain mapping, risk identification, risk assessment, risk response development, and risk response control. The results of identifying risks that need to be mitigated from travel agents to tourist activities include fluctuating products/services, incompatibility with tourist destinations, and failure in promotional programs. Meanwhile, stakeholder activities in the tourism industry include failure in formulating policies and promotional programs. Proposed mitigation measures include diversifying supply chains, improving communication between suppliers and the tourism industry, and developing flexible policies. Implementation of this strategy is expected to strengthen the tourism industry supply chain in Rembang Regency, improve the tourist experience, and support sustainable economic growth. Risk mitigation in the tourism industry also contributes to the performance of the tourism industry and the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs) by providing benefits to the environment, economy, and local communities.

Abstract

Abstract: The public right of way is a place for utility infrastructure facilities such as clean water pipes, electicity cable, and telecommunication fiber optic cable involving multi-independent stakeholders. Indonesian cities in general have no utility ducting system along its roads, thus utility facilities are placed in and adjacent to the public right of way as overhead and underground line. Stakeholders activities during operational and maintenance phase of the existing road potentially damage nearby infrastructures, causing repeated repair all over the year, and lead to service disturbance, traffic disruption, and users complaint due to lack of communication skill and lack of stakeholders coordination. This paper describes inter-public infrastructure management using soft system based interface management to reduce the effect of poor communication and coordination amongst stakeholders. Managing interface is conducted within four stages of concept and procedure, namely: interface identification, interface simplification, interface priority, and interface matching. The result of discussion concluded that the road authority needs to pay more attention to user/community complaint toward service disturbance by improving coordination and communication system among stakeholders in order to reduce infrastructure damage. Keywords : coordination, communication, interface management, public infrastructures, soft system.
