Abstract

PT. Mitra Rekatama Mandiri is one of the manufacturing industries engaged in metal casting and machining which manages and produces metal castings, with output in the form of components of agricultural equipment and mining, which is the pulley. The work carried out by machine and manually. The production process is still a lot of damage to products that are not suitable quality standards set by the industry. Therefore, to identify, analyze and repair the damage factor products used in the production process quality control methods, by Six Sigma and seven tools and Kaizen. Based on the research results in the form of data processing and analysis with DMAI cycle in the concept of Six Sigma DMAIC define phase characterizing the quality (CTQ) attribute data in the form of as many as 10 different types of damage. The results of the identification process to map control measure p on stage. The results of the baseline measurements of corporate performance in the production process of finishing obtained DPMO value of 88.716 which may mean that a million chance there will be 88.716. Producted possibility of the product damage. Finishing the production process is at 3:57 sigma level. The result of identification with Pareto diagram and with CTQ most dominant cause damage that is kind rantap of 98% followed by the kind of broken mengsle 94%, 78% kropos kind of broken, damaged type of lump 46% of the total to be damaged by 265. identify problems damage with fish bone diagram to determine the factors that cause the damage. In the improve phase seek corrective action plan with Kaizen Kaizen implementation of two instruments, namely Five M Check List and Five Step Plan. From the analysis, it can be concluded that the main cause of damage is the human factor and the environment, and as well as Kaizen implementation tools’, the main policy that must be executed by the management company that surveillance or tighter control every stage of the process. Improvement by analyzing the factors that cause defective products made to reduce the most dominant types of damaged, so that product quality is maintained according to customer demand. Abstract

UD. Pandawa Tire is a UD engaged in the manufacture of tires retreaded. The production process at Pandawa Tires still often does overtime due to the number of new employees 9 people and the average target of making 60 tires every day which causes fatigue and mental and physical workload. The analytical methods used to measure the physical and mental workload of workers are Cardiovascular Load (CVL) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX). The results showed that the greatest physical workload was felt by workers with a CVL percentage of 46.1%, which was between 30% to 60% in the medium category, meaning that improvements are needed but not urgent. While the results of the measurement of mental workload showed that all workers were included in the high category, with the largest NASA-TLX score of 83.33. Correlation Test was Pearson Product Moment conducted to see the relationship between the value of the physical and mental workload received by the worker. The results of the calculation of the correlation test show that there is a relationship between CVL and NASA-TLX, although there is a correlation, but the correlation is significant in influencing each other between the amount of physical workload and mental workload felt by workers. The correlation value of r obtained is 0.672. Which means that there is a strong positive correlation between the physical workload and the mental burden felt by the Pandawa tire workers

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of demographic factors ( age , gender , education , experience ) and personality factors ( computer anxiety , computer attitude , math anxiety ) to the end user computing expertise of personnel either partially or simultaneously . Models the influence of the demographic variables and personality skills in end user computing research model replicated from Harrison and Rainer (1992 ) and the research model and Gudono Rifa (1998). The study was conducted on teacher and administrative employees of State High School I to XI in Yogyakarta Municipality considering charging adminsitrasinya teacher certification performed with computerized online program for you State , appropriate curriculum in 2013 all teachers in the learning process to educate students using computerized , so too the acceptance of new students each academic year always use the on-line computerized . Thus both teachers and administrative staff are required to have expertise in End user Computing . So the research conducted to analyze the influence of demographic factors and personality to expertise in End User Computing. The results showed that demographic factors (age - gender - experience) has a direct influence on the expertise in end user computing 0 , 001 ; 0 , 027 ; 0,007 . Personality factors of computer anxiety (fear - Anticipation 0.057) ; computer attitude (Intimidation 0.05) has a direct influence on the expertise in end user computing . The results were quite surprising is the demographic factors (educational 0.117) , personality factors of computer attitude (0.760 pessimism - optimism 0.150) ; math anxiety (0.334) is not significant enough to expertise in end user computing . To improve performance in the Public High Schools in Yogyakarta municipality with regard to the introduction of new technology on- line computerized system above , need to be considered in decisions about withdrawal of the human resources , training and implementation of computer education for personnel and equipment. Provision of adequate facilities is expected to increase its expertise in end user computing , which in turn improves the performance of State High School and individual performance
