Abstract

Experimental testing of lightly reinforced concrete column was conducted to investigate the collapse behavior of such column under cyclic lateral loading. Six column specimens, which have low longitudinal reinforcement and lack of confinement, were detailed with no lap splice, and non-ductile lap splice within or outside critical region. Placing the short, unconfined column's lap splice within critical region caused peak moment to fall short under its nominal moment capacity. In contrast, moment capacity of the specimen containing non-ductile lap splice outside critical region was in close agreement with those of specimen without lap splice. However, its inelastic damage region was moving away from the beam-column interface, resulted in degradation of drift capacity and rapid degradation of lateral strength. The presence of non-ductile lap splice outside critical region also potentially shift column's collapse mechanism from flexure to flexure-shear critical. The ability of lightly reinforced concrete columns to maintain its axial load carrying capacity to large drift ratios despite heavy damage and significant loss of lateral load carrying capacity indicates that lap splice failure does not create sudden collapse hazard.

Abstract

The infrastructure development raises the potential of old building destruction and demolition. This fact will results an environmental damage if construction waste is not being properly utilized. One type of construction waste that can be utilized is concrete waste. To apply sustainable development, concrete waste can be reused and recycled into aggregate in the form of RCA (Recycled Coarse Aggregate). Natural Coarse Aggregates (NCA) and RCA are processed into 0.5-1 cm, 1-2 cm, and 0.5-2 cm sizes and later mixed with cement paste into porous or pervious concrete. Porous concrete is a non-structural concrete which is water-permeable and has large pores. This study aims to determine the effect of RCA on the velue of concrete compressive strength, the most optimal concrete variation, and the influence of void ratio and permeability to the compressive strength of porous concrete. The result reported that RCA affects the compressive strength,, it can be proven that any variation of aggregate size, concrete variation with 0% RCA has the higher value than the 100% RCA one. The optimum concrete condition is in variation of 50% RCA at aggregate size 0.5-2 cm. The compressive strength value is 10.211 MPa. This is due to the more diverse aggregates affecting the concrete density. The larger the pores of the concrete (void ratio), the permeability value will be higher and the higher void ratio and permeability of concrete, the value of the compressive strength of porous concrete will be lower.

Abstract

Pada saat ini Indonesia mengalami pertumbuhan ekonomi yang cukup signifikan sehingga pembangunan di segala bidang berjalan dengan segala dinamika tersendiri. Tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi yang cukup tinggi memerlukan sarana dan prasarana untuk mengakomodasi berlangsungnya usaha usaha tersebut. Permintaan yang cukup tinggi maka akan timbul masalah masalah pula dalam bidang konstruksi yaitu masalah ketersediaan tenaga kerja, ketersediaan tenggat waktu penyelesaian proyek, ketersediaan bahan akan konstruksi tersebut, ketersediaan akan energi yang dibutuhkan untuk merealisasikan proyek tersebut dan ketersediaan akan ruang kerja dalam proyek tersebut.Tantangan kedepan dalam dunia usaha adalah di wajibkan setiap produk atau pelayanan jasa dapat mencapai standar yang baik dengan dicapai melalui pemenuhan waktu yang cepat dan biaya yang rendah. Karena dasar tersebut maka studi dengan mengunakan value engineering (VE) atau yang sering disebut rekayasa nilai adalah solusi yang baik karena dalam rekayasa nilai bertujuan sebagai upaya pemecahan masalah secara terstruktur dan kreatif. Pembangunan gedung berlantai 4 yang akan digunakan sebagai hotel dengan luas bangunan mencapai 2840m2 dengan beberapa fungsi tambahan seperti ruang rapat, ruang serba guna dan restoran yang terintergrasi dalam 1 bangunan maka memerlukan perencanaan yang matang agar setiap fungsi yang disyaratkan dapat terpenuhi. Rencana Angaran Biaya sebesar Rp. 16.005.296.755,00 untuk pembangunan gedung pada tahap perencanaan akan dilakukan studi peningkatan nilai dengan Value Engineering Method. Tahap yang dilakukan pada studi VE seperti tahap pra studi, tahap informasi, tahap analisis fungsi, tahap kreatif, tahap evaluasi, tahap pengembangan, tahap presentasi, tahap implementasi maka diperoleh bahwa faktor paling tinggi yang dapat dilakukan efisiensi adalah pekerjaan mekanikal dan elektrikal serta pekerjaan aristektur. Pekerjaan M/E melalui studi VE didapat penghematan sebesar 10,8% dari total nilai pekerjaan tersebut pada nilai pembangunan bangunan tersebut dengan asumsi 10 tahun pemakaian.

Abstract

With current tehnological developments, the application of the agile development methodology is an interesting field of sales information systems in the business world to study in the digital world. The development of this method is a development that is more efficient to apply and one of the topics that has been studied quite a lot by researchers researchers in the field of computer science. The Kinanti Sembako Store has a problem, namely in the transaction and stock recording section, where in that section they still carry out manual calculations using a book as inventory, in every activity such as recording transactions, stock, data search and reporting is not effective and efficient. The method used in the development of a sales information system is the Agile Development methodology which is a system development method that is focused on the user, the stages of the Agile Development methodology are system analysis, design, application development, testing, application deployment, revision and evaluation. , as well as system maintenance. In addition to the application development method, there is also an application testing method, namely using black box testing as a test of application functionality. The purpose of doing research is to make it easier to process data and present information in the form of inputting, managing, and making reports on goods data, customer data, purchase transaction data, sales transaction data, and profit and loss, so that with this information system it is hoped that the problems that occur in the company can be overcome ..
