Abstract

The development of children's intrapersonal intelligence is closely related to the parenting applied by parents at home. Parents' knowledge and understanding of child care using appropriate parenting patterns. Authoritative parenting is a parenting style that encourages individuals to be independent but still maintain limits and control over the actions taken. Applying authoritative parenting to children is that mothers expect their children to grow and develop as well as possible, able to control emotions naturally, have the ability to manage themselves even though working mothers have limited time in accompanying and caring for children at home like mothers who do not work. This study seeks to reveal the authoritative parenting carried out by working mothers to stimulate the intrapersonal intelligence of early childhood through in-depth observations of the conditions and situations of authoritative parenting in the daily lives of mothers and children at home. Conditions in the field that run as they are in accordance with the reality in the field are very useful for researchers to obtain data. The approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach. The type of research used in this qualitative research is a single case study.

Abstract

Character education must be implemented in early childhood. This is because early childhood has different characteristics from adults. This descriptive qualitative research with a literature study discusses the implementation of character education for early childhood. The data analysis technique uses content analysis by sorting out data according to the research objectives. This paper produces the following things. First, the characteristics of early childhood so that character education must be implemented because they have several characteristics, namely: unique, egocentric, active and energetic, exploratory and adventurous, relatively spontaneous, easily frustrated, lack of consideration in doing things, short attention span, and passionate. to learn from experience. Second, the values ​​of character education that can be implemented in early childhood include love of God; responsibility, discipline, and independence; honesty; respect and courtesy; affection, care, and cooperation; confidence, creative, hard-working, and never give up; justice and leadership; kind and humble; and tolerance, love of peace, and unity. Third, several things that teachers must do in implementing character education development, among others: treat children according to their characteristics, foster positive understanding, meet basic needs, familiarize children with socializing, patterns of educating teachers and parents must be interrelated, provide support and appreciation, provide age-appropriate facilities, and have a firm, consistent, and responsible attitude.

Abstract

The age of 0-6 years is a golden period for growth and development cognitive development, language, social emotional, physical motor, religious values ??and morals and art. The growth and development of early childhood occurs very rapidly. Stimulation in children of this age group is very important because it is the foundation for the development of Human Capital because children are healthy and socially optimally grown will grow into productive adults economy. Growth is a change in the size, number, size of the body or members body, which can be measured physically through weighing, measuring height, head circumference measurement, arm circumference measurement and others etc. Growth is limited to structural and physiological changes (physical) (Kemendikbud, 2020). To measure the growth of early childhood parents or PAUD teachers can Measuring weight, height and head circumference is done every month. If you don't gain weight / lose weight / gain weight excessively a period of 2 consecutive months and the child's height does not match his age, immediately consult with PUSKESMAS or pediatrician. Development is an increase in ability or skill in more complex structures and functions of the body in regular patterns and can be predicted as a result of experience and the maturation process. Development is also related to the ability to move, intellectual, social and emotional (Kemendikbud, 2020). Growth and development in early childhood are mutually exclusive related. Many parents assume, children will grow and develop automatically. Even though this assumption is not correct. Early childhood should can grow and develop according to age. If at a certain age, children have not been able to achieve growth and development, then people parents need to be aware of this. To overcome partner problems related to awareness of the importance early childhood development and development, then we are from the community service team provide a solution in the form of Strengthening the Parenting Program in Improving  Public Awareness About the Importance of Child Development. this activity carried out in the form of counseling to mothers who have babies and toddlers as well as posyandu cadres in Dusun Sumber, Lingkungan Banjarjo, Kelurahan Kanigoro, Kecamatan Kanigoro, Kabupaten Blitar. In this parenting program strengthening activity, the method we use are lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. Stages in this service activity includes: 1) Making observations, 2) Coordinating with partners, 3) Carry out strengthening parenting programs in the form of counseling, 4) Follow up Further implementation is carried out by posyandu cadres in coordination with the puskesmas local.

Abstract

Learning in AUD must be able to develop various basic abilities of children to create generations that are communicative, collaborative, think critically, creatively and innovatively. The STEAM approach is seen as an approach that can prepare the 21st century generation which aims to stimulate creativity, prepare children for a world of work full of innovations and inventions or good quality human resources. Some research shows that the application of the STEAM approach has a very positive relationship between STEAM learning experiences at an early age and school and career success in a child's future. The purpose of implementing this community service is to find out the application of learning with STEAM learning to increase the creativity of early childhood in Rejotangan District, Tulungagung Regency. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive method. Data collection was done by way of interviews and observation. The STEAM approach process is expected to be able to stimulate children's abilities to face the 21st century. One of the ways that teachers can do this is by changing the learning process in an innovative and creative way.
