Abstract

(2) fungsituturan, dan (3) nilai-nilai karakter yang terdapat dalam tuturan ilokusi dalam bukuWirbesucheneine Moschee (WBM) ‘Kami Mengunjungi Mesjid’. Data penelitian ini yaitusemua tuturan yang terdapat dalam WBM. Buku ini adalah salah satu buku bacaan siswakelas 5 Sekolah Dasar di Jerman. Penelitian ini penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penyediaandata menggunakan metode simak bebas libat cakap (SBLC) dan data dianalisis denganmenggunakan metode agih dan padan pragmatis. Dari hasil analisis ditemukan empatjenis tuturan, yaitu asertif, direktif, komisif dan ekspresif. Tiap jenis tuturan memilikibentuk yang berbeda, yaitu tindak tutur langsung literal, tidak langsung literal, langsungtidak literal, dan tidak langsung tidak literal. Fungsi tuturan dalam buku WBM yaitututuran asertif, direktif, komisif dan ekspresif. Nilai-nilai karakter dalam buku WBMada sepuluh, yaitu religius, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, demokratis, rasa ingintahu, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/komunikatif, dan peduli sosial.Kata kunci: nilai karakter, tuturan ilokusi, buku Wir besuchen eine MoscheeMORAL VALUES IN THE ILLOCUTIONARY SPEECH ACTIN CHILDREN’S BOOK WIR BESUCHEN EINE MOSCHEEAbstractThis study aims to describe: (1) typesand forms of utterances, (2) functions of utterances,and (3) moral values in the illocutionary act in the children’s book Wir besuchen eine Moschee(WBM) ‘We Visit the Mosque’. The data are all utterances in WBM. The book is one of thetextbooks for Grade V students of elementary schools in Germany. This was a qualitativedescriptive study. The data were collected by the uninvolved conversation observationtechnique and analyzed by using the distribution and pragmatic correspondence methods.From the results of the analysis, four types of utterances are found: assertive, directive,commissive, and expressive. Each type of utterance has a different form, namely literaldirect, literal indirect, non-literal direct, and non-literal indirect speech acts. The functionsof utterances in WBM are assertive, directive, commissive, and expressive. There are tenmoral values in WBM, namely religiosity, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity,democracy, curiosity, appreciation of achievement, friendship/communication, and socialcare.Keywords: moral values, illocutionary act, children’s book Wir besuchen eine Moschee

Abstract

Abstract. Lingual elements in the form of proverbs are often found in German textbooks. Proverbs can be a medium to understand the cultural background of the German language because it reflects the culture, values, and mindset of the speaking community. However, proverbs have not been widely studied in terms of their meaning and equivalent in  Indonesian. This research aims to examine the form of German proverbs in German textbooks and find the equivalent of Indonesian proverbs based on their meaning, figurative elements, and cultural backgrounds. This research is qualitative research with a literature study. The data source of this research is the German language textbooks used in universities in Indonesia. The data collected are German proverbs in phrases or sentences and analyzed morphologically and semantically to find their equivalent in Indonesian. The research instrument is the human instrument. Data collection is done by reading and note-taking techniques. The data’s validity is obtained by reading the data repeatedly and discussed in the Focus Group Discussion. The research findings showed that very few German proverbs have the same meaning and figurative elements as Indonesian. However, there are German proverbs that have the same meaning as Indonesian proverbs but have different figurative elements. In addition, there are German proverbs that do not have Indonesian equivalents. This finding confirms that people who speak German and Indonesian have different values and mindsets, although they also have the same perspective on certain realities.Keywords: Proverbs, German Textbook, The Meaning Of Proverbs, Figurative Elements

Abstract

Die linguistische Pragmatik merupakan ilmu yang mengkaji bahasa dalam suatupraktek tindakan (Handlungspraxis). Objek kajian ilmu ini yaitu Text dan Diskurs .Dalam kajian Text dan Diskurs, Deixis memegang peranan penting karena membangunkesatuan Text dan Diskurs tersebut, sehingga antara pembicara/penulis dan pendengar/pembaca dapat memaknai maksud yang tersurat.
