Abstract

The aims of this study include (1) To find out the principal's strategy in cultivating time discipline for teachers and students; (2) Strict sanctions for teachers and students who cannot apply the culture of time discipline in the school; (3) The impact of implementing a culture of time discipline for school members. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method in the form of observations and interviews with the principal, as well as representatives of three teachers and students of SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Medan. From the results of the research through observations and interviews with several sources, it was found that the strategy used by the principal in cultivating time discipline was one of them by going directly to give examples to attend school early, even before the bell rang. As for the strict sanctions given by the principal to teachers and students who violate the culture of time discipline, namely in accordance with the agreement that has been written in the school's rules and regulations. Furthermore, it is known that one of the positive impacts of time discipline for school members is that teaching and learning activities become more effective. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of a time discipline culture carried out by teachers and students at the school has not been effective, this is certainly caused by several inhibiting factors.Keywords: Strategy, Principal, Time Discipline.

Abstract

UlulAlbab is an ideal human concept according to the Qur'an which we have encountered 16 times and its nature. The formulation of problems related to this writing is (1) Why are students being targeted in an effort to instill the personality of UlulAlbab?; (2) How does the school instill the personality of UlulAlbab to the students? This study aims to (1) Find out why students are the target of efforts to instill the personality of UlulAlbab; (2) Knowing the efforts of the school to instill the personality of UlulAlbab to the students. The author uses qualitative method in the form of observation and interview. Based on the survey, the reason students are targeted in an effort to instill the personality of UlulAlbab because students are one of the important assets for the nation and religion.Moreover, in the era of globalization as it is today, we often meet students who are far from the personality of UlulAlbab. The efforts made by the school in instilling the personality of UlulAlbab to students is galvanizing its students to model the personality of UlulAlbab. Keywords: Personality UlulAlbab, Students

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between learning achievement in Islamic Religious Education and students' morals towards teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Medan. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method, with a type of correlational research, and a deductive research approach. The results of his research found that there was no correlation between learning achievement in Islamic Religious Education and student morals towards teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Medan, although between Islamic Religious Education learning achievement was positively related to student morals towards teachers with a strong correlation category.
